Jim: Character… How would you, how would you describe your character? Charlene: I’m pretty stubborn I guess and very set in my ways and uh so I think I’ll use that in my daily life here. Albert: In, in a positive way. Charlene: In a very positive way. Of course (cackles). Without fail, everything this con artist opens her mouth she reveals more and more about hr true character and nature. Furthermore, she shows Albert for the utter fool he really is truly The Village Idiot of Monaco. Still catching up with some wedding related stuff that hasn't been posted. On July 20, 2011, Albert and Charlene met with CNN's Jim Bittermann for an interview at the palace. Of course, CNN wouldn't waste money not time sending someone from the u.S. on these two (Americans don't know nor care about Albert and Charlene), Jim Bittermann is CNN's Senior European Correspondent based in Paris.
CNNAdded on July 1, 2011: On June 20, CNN's Jim Bittermann spoke to Prince Albert of Monaco and his fiancee about their upcoming marriage.

Geez! She admitted she's stubborn etc. OMG poor Monaco. It's her way or the highway. If one believes Eringer and Albert chooses the path of least resistance then Monte Carlo will re-named Charlenetown. After she puts in her Starbucks can Walmart and Target be far behind? It's going to look like a strip mall when she's finished. Even low-end Vegas will look more inviting. I go back to Cote and his statement that she wore the pants and now we know he was pretty accurate! JMO.

I transcribed this interview to the best of my ability. As always, i ry to record every word spoke, including all the uhhhs - which must omit in their transcription. But, you have to include these to truly understand how inept these two really are. I was really difficult listening to these two for hours to record their words because it really saddens me to see what Albert has done to Monaco by imposing such a dumb gold digging con artist on them. The existence of a Princess Charlene of Monaco really shows Albert's true disdain for his country and his parents' legacy.
CNN Interview of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock conducted Jim Bittermann on 20 June 2011
– Transcribed by MyAdia of Royal Opinions
Jim Bittermann (0:01): What’s the atmosphere like here in the palace and how is it in Monaco? Prince Albert: Well, I think uhm, I’ll let Charlene say a few words afterward me but, but I think I’m uh pretty uh in, pretty good shape. Uh uh, not too, not too nervous, not too emotional uh I got a lot of things to worry about in other areas before that day so I am just trying to make sure everything, everything goes well.
Jim Bittermann (0:29): Charlene, (Charlene laughs) you’re calm, collective? Charlene Witstock: Yes, I’m fine I mean I haven’t got any uh problems so far (laughs) but. But, everything seems to be going really well. I’m excited can’t wait. Albert: Well I think you know uh it’s uh, any event that uh any joyous occasion that uh that brings the whole Monegasque family together not only my family but all Monegasque population and our residents I think is a uh is a very positive and, and uh an event that we want to share with uh everyone here and uh everyone I think and everyone of our visitors that want to come to celebrate this moment with us.
Jim (1:15): How about having an heir to the throne, is that uh important as well? I mean do you think that’s, in people’s mind anyway for continuity? Albert: The ultimate blessing is to, is to have children and that’s uh why I think people a man and a woman want to uh share their life.
Jim (1:35): Are you looking forward to having children? Charlene: I can’t wait (laughs). No pressure (laughs). But uh no, I always wanted to have uh children and uh I love children. And uh, yeah, I think in a couple of months, years we’ll see.
Jim (1:53): What were your first impressions of Monaco when you first came here? Charlene: Well, I guess living in South Africa we, we had little knowledge of uh what Monaco actually is other than of what Albert’s family was, his mom was this wonderful movie star and uh glamorous princess and obviously Princess Stephanie and Caroline, who did not want to be them or and uh I think uh coming here was, was quite special cause it’s a beautiful country it’s, it’s it’s extraordinary and uh I loved it. I wanted to come back for sure.
Jim (2:31): Well, it was always sort of a glamorous place, I mean does it, does it retain that glamour today? Albert: I don’t know if, how to equate really and how to uh put a new meaning on the word glamour, if it’s style or if it’s a certain way of doing things and uh a certain way of promoting oneself, promoting new ideas in a, in a suitable way. Uh, and if that’s the case then uh, uh we have to maintain uh Monaco’s image of excellence in, in all areas be they cultural, be they sports, be they uh fashion, be they uh environment, also humanitarian.
Jim (3:17): There have been choices of kind of weeding out the wrong people. Do you make an active effort to maintain a certain person here? Albert: Well definitely, we we , first of all we anyone who wishes to uh not only open a business in Monaco, but wishes, wishes to be a resident of Monaco is screened thoroughly and in the right way. Uh, and of course Monaco is a very attractive place and will attract uh all kinds of people from all over the world and we have to be very conscious of that and very careful of who we, uh who we accept in our midst.
Jim (3:58): Charlene, what role do you see for yourself and years to come here? Charlene: The thing is that for the time being now I’m preparing for the wedding so I haven’t thought much further than that for the time being. But, I will support the prince and the principality in the best way I know how.
Jim (4:16): But someone who is determined to be an Olympic swimmer at age eight probably has a great deal of energy and determination I guess. Charlene: Yeah (laughs). Yeah. Jim: Character… How would you, how would you describe your character? Charlene: I’m pretty stubborn I guess and very set in my ways and uh so I think I’ll use that in my daily life here. Albert: In, in a positive way. Charlene: In a very positive way. Of course (cackles).
(4:47) …[the question seems to be edited out since the next portion begins with Charlene’s response] Charlene: Uh, I don’t know what to pinpoint on what will be the most amazing thing about this wedding other than it’s just going to be one big celebration. Albert: I think it’s the opportunity to share it (Charlene interrupting: Yeah absolutely.) with a lot of people that we love and want our friends, family, but also international guests. Charlene: Yeah, we have a really good team around us and the family also has active roles in helping us coordinate everything so I think it’s going to be great.
Jim (5:16): Well again, congratulations and thank you very much for joining us. Albert: Thank you. Charlene: Thank you.

What brand would hire these two as spokesmen? And that is how they have positioned themselves with regard to Monaco and how they justify the exorbitant cost of that wedding. Both need classes in speech and presentation. It is too painful to watch them speak or read an unpolished transcript of what they said. They come across as two people who do zero preparation for interviews. It is supposed to be enough that they show up for the interview. I would think that televised interviews for these two would dry up as what station wants to air something that it is clear viewers will reach for the remote and move on to another channel rather than go through the agony of watching these two speak. Is this the best that Monaco/the Grimaldis can do? No, there are other members who could do a much better job in promoting Monaco in interviews, but these two narcissists can't stand for anyone else to get attention. These two are too boring and inept to keep people's attention for long. (I'm starting to get really bored.) Note they are now attending karaoke nights to get attention (and promote Monaco) and remember he is a head of state.

there is some serious lack of brain mass in the palace...good thing that they both seems to have a speech impediment, that way they won't feel embarrassed by the other. these two are the incarnation of the German word fremdschaemen. if you want to explain the meaning of the word to a non native, showing a video of the twosome explains it perfectly.

I'm just shocked that The Cad, a graduate of Amherst College and with access to every speech coach in the world, can't string together a coherent sentence without "ums" and "uhs" ... he just sounds incredibly stupid and insecure. God, it's just so uncomfortable to listen to. Yikes!

"Charlene: The thing is that for the time being now I’m preparing for the wedding so I haven’t thought much further than that for the time being. But, I will support the prince and the principality in the best way I know how."
She has no clue about the real world. How many working women that are going to get married can afford the luxury of a statement like "I’m preparing for the wedding so I haven’t thought much further than that for the time being."? In the real world she would have been fired before she even had a chance of saying "I". She truly fullfills the dumb blonde image and nothing else and that's what is wanted by Albert. In a way she is a walking insult to all the working women of the world. Thank god most of them do not even know her.

That video was excruciatingly painful to watch!!! And I'm not even talking about his stuttering/halting speech... he just has nothing interesting to say-- like he has no idea of a vision... I cannot believe that Albert is the leader of anything, let alone a country! Trust me, he would not be an easily ELECTED LEADER... he could only inherit leadership, not actually EARN it!
She sounds likes she's still numb from her lip injections. I didn't expect any Einstein answers from her anyways... but, she sounded like she was more focused on not drooling out of her mouth while speaking...

LOL more focused on not drooling out of her mouth...I love it. Yes how can one think and not drool at the same time. Difficult task for a bimbo like Charles.
My kids said a few very funny things about her, when they saw a picture of her. Just remember that they know who Albert is and that the children in school talked about the wedding etc too. So I suspect that, since I don't talk about these two at home, some of their opinion has been formed by discussing with their classmates, sports mates and orchestra buddies. So all local Monaco, Beausoleil, Cap d'Ail kids.
first thing they said was that she was the plastic wife of Albert. But then they elaborated, calling her a zombie, but eventually settling for plastic zombie. They also said that they would hate to have a plastic woman like her as a mom. I showed them pics of the original trashy and they said: she was ok then, why did she do this? They did not like her teeth and thought that she looked older then she was, but other then that they thought she was ok looking. They didn't think that she was beautiful then nor do they think her beautiful now. They do think though that the original was better then the recent version. They also believe that she has to hate Albert for marrying her only after all the surgeries, especially on realizing that the nose job means that you need to get your nose broken. they then went on imitating newsreports about her revealing all her surgeries etc. it was quite entertaining. Especially my son stating that she has to be cocoo in the head.... So even 10 year olds see what we are seeing without prompting. Makes you wonder the state of Alberts brain.

It makes you wonder at the level of mental distortion in these two people. The Cad is a major league sickie!

Hibou, happy to hear that you've survived the hurricane. All is well in Center City and we never lost power last night. Unfortunately, I do have a leak in my home office and adjacent bathroom. Oh well ... that I could survive. Let's hope we survive the rising river waters. I just saw some pictures of a very flooded Main Street in Manayunk -- yikes!

I'm just imagining how he will look in a few months seeing that he has most obviously chosen the path of surgery to working out and losing weight naturally. Just wait until he gets his facelifts, hairimplants etc. There is an Italian designer who has had himself reshaped and just looks horrible. Now just imagine trashy and softcookie all done over with spareparts. They will look so plastic that Monegasques will forget that these two started out as part of the human species. I think they will be known as the zombie princely couple from plastic fake Monaco. I hope they can use the caves in the Jardin exotique as storage for toxic waste, because I doubt that by the time these two die, there will be anything natural left to be buried in the cathedral.

Given Albert's family history of strokes and heart-attacks, he should be scared of the liposuction because it can cause blood clots or worse small fat particles could escape during the surgery and cause blockages. Plus if he's on an extreme diet, that too is dangerous. He doesn't appear to have curbed his lifestyle. What's more baffling, is that he waited until just before the wedding to do the surgery or this extreme dieting. It's almost suicidal if you ask me.

Charlene's comment about being stubborn is a truthful statement. Unfortunately for those around her it means welcome to hell. I recall some posters a while back indicated that she was running through staff well before the wedding, and indicated if I recall correctly, that her lady-in-waiting quit. This is just going to be epic when the tabloids get hold of this stuff - that quote is going to come back and haunt her. How stupid of her. JMO.
