The first photoshoot and interview exclusively for an English magazine? The interview is the one PA gave to Nice Matin not long ago. I guess they called Point de Vue to the palace to take pictures and PdV got the right to publish them first or so and the English tabloid (hello magazine?) just copied it. It's such a shame that PA has become such a talker. He has always been so private and didn't give any interviews and didn't talk about his private life. Now CC stopped talking (after fuc*ing up one interview after another) and PA started. But on the other hand it's his fault with this fake marriage and this dumb, bland and boring wife of his...

True, when was her last real interview? You would think they would have coached her after the disaster that was her Tatler Dec 2010 interview. But I forgot she is stubborn as hell.

Bingo! They are in for the cash, like some sort of celebrities. But sugars won't see this, of course. They need to sell the exclusive. It's just one big money machine. Pretty pathetic. As I've said before: they have to give interviews and talk about their private life otherwise they would disappear off the map. They don't sell like e.g. Will and Kate. If they allow the press to make up stories then they'll always be negative. After Grace, Monaco turned from fairytale to scandal (thanks to Caro and Steph and later also PA). IMO PA thought marrying would change this again to fairytale but it was a big fail.

Lmao as if these two were fulltime working parents with no nannies.

And that's how we know that those kids are only looked after by the nannies. They should have stuck with puppies. Definitely not cute kids. Nothing like the interaction between Will and his son. And even Kate, who doesn't come off as the most hands on mother is more natural with her kids then these two. Awkward is an understatement.

Just another photo op, so staged and superficial. Sorry, but they do look a bit manufactured/cloned. Just a tiny step backward and they would have all drowned. (oh i forgot, she's a former swim champ.)

Celebitchy blogged about the People interview. They say that the kids whitewashed a lot of scandal. Albert says the highlight of the decade was his marriage WITH Cc not TO... Lol Anyways. They pick more on shade Albert throws at the BRF however it's the opposite, he's agreeing with his buddy Charles on less crowded balconies... www.celebitchy.com/436771/did_prince_albert_shade_the_windsors_peasant-fearing_balcony_obsession/More on the upcoming celebration in People Mag: Prince Albert Reflects on 10 Years on the Throne: My Wedding and the Twins Are My Happiest Moments www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20395222_20936545,00.html Then in August, both he and Charlene plan a vacation away from royal activities. The documents obviously placed there for show and clearly never read. What a fake! And the social grooming of the children has already begun. The boy gets to wear shoes because he is supposed to go out there and explore, whereas the girl doesn't even have shoes on, because she is not supposed to go anywhere or do anything, at least nothing on her own accord. She is just a princess, like her mom, and only does what she is told to do.

I know with twins one is often more dominant a personality than the other, but the girl seems in most pictures not to do much interaction while the boy is much more active and physical. The girl just sits there in almost every photo I've seen with her pacifier in her mouth. Albert in this photo seems to be holding her up while the boy has his feet firmly down on the table. Maybe Donna is right, they are already being programed for their future roles: The boy rules and the girl is an object to be looked at like a doll? The parents really don't look natural holding these kids. I can't wait until the twins are older and we see more of their personalities. Actually I'm waiting for Prince George to meet them.

Albert says that they are only just beginning to crawl. Pretty late IMO, seeing that they are almost 8 months old. Maybe their development didn't go as well after they were ripped out of the womb at about 6,5 months so their parents could have xmas babies and the mom wouldn't gain too much weight during pregnancy (if she really did the job herself): In comparison George looks a lot more alert and even his sister seems more "awake" then those 2 together. I am afraid that these will not be the brightest kids and that not only due to their DNA, but to their parents idiocy of tempering with nature. they may have grown a lot and gained plenty of weight(no surprise with the parents), but I don't think that their brains and coordination skills have developed the same way. It will be interesting to see, if they catch up and how they will do in school in 2,5 years...

That's what i have been afraid too, of their devolpment. I also think that if they are begining to crawl right now at 7 months old, almost 8, it might have to do with their early birth. Gabriella doesn't seem to be very 'awake', sort of speak...Jacques is a little bit more awake than his sister. I'm interested in seeing them growing up, how about their intelligence and stuff.

The girl is definitely not as advanced as the boy, but then I have to wonder how much interaction with their nannies they have to encourage their brain and motor skill development. A normal Mother has constant interaction with children at this age so that their development progresses.

I'm not so worried about the exchange with the mom as they are done learning from her in less then 15 minutes. More worried about the constant change of nannies. The ones we saw carry them around poolside were different to those at the baptism and the ones they are with now. That means 6 nannies in less than 8 months. That's got to be a record. Although I do think that at first they had staff from hospital to assure that medically they were properly cared for (and probably more than just 2), I believe that they are at least on their second set of nannies, unless they are employing 4 to have round the clock professionals. by the time they get to school they have learned that people are replaceable and interchangeable, turning into those MC brats that discuss how to get rid off your nanny on the playground and bragging the number (3 for one child was the highest number I overheard...).

Lol even Prince George's nanny gets more attention than Charlene www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20395222_20936249,00.html She seems to be a pleasant lady who graduated from a top nanny school, whose graduates are called the rolls royce among nannies. I don't want to speak bad about the women who had to have the misfortune to be employed by Charlene and Albert, those two dumbasses.

Norland is one of the oldest nanny schools in England. Her ease around the Royals and the way they relate to her speaks volumes about her class. She has more class then trashy after all those years.

She also had depth of experience with other wealthy families before taking on the role of royal nanny. I liked the fact that she is also trained as a bodyguard. The Norland nannies all receive this training.

Are Monaco’s Royals Keeping Up With Kate and Will—or the Kardashians?
Is the ruling family of the world’s most famous postage-stamp-size principality making a deliberate comeback? Could the Kardashians be the inspiration? Probably the truth lies closer to home. One need look no further than Britain’s mega-popular royals as the reason why. “Blame Kate Middleton,” says a Brazilian-American socialite who has lived in Monaco for more than two decades. “They saw how beloved she and William and their kids are and they wanted some of the action. They were under pressure from people in Monaco as well. The two couples got married at the same time but nothing was happening with Albert and Charlene while Kate was taking over the world.”
The oddest twist in what appears to be Monaco's heavy new PR push involves one of Prince Albert’s two illegitimate children, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, 23, who grew up near Palm Springs and Orange County, California. Jazmin was featured in a glowing spread in Harper’s Bazaar this month in photos designed to be reminiscent of her grandmother, Grace Kelly. She spoke to an interviewer over the phone from the princely palace in Monaco, talking about her “great relationship” with her father.
(...)
Albert told People this month that he himself had “underestimated” his wife. “She feels a little more comfortable with the media now, and to be quite honest she got there on her own,” the prince said. “She’s coming into her own. I think she’s found a good space.”
A Monaco businesswoman who has lived in the famously gossipy principality for years calls all the flattering recent stories about Albert and Charlene window dressing. “It’s not real and everyone knows it,” she says.
But Claudia Albuquerque, an American photographer who’s been based in Monaco and knows the couple, disagrees. “They get along wonderfully and they’re great parents,” Albuquerque told The Daily Beast. “Monaco’s a magical place and Albert has made it even more so. It’s so dynamic, it’s like a little New York City on the Riviera.”
“Monaco is trying to re-brand itself and that’s why you’re seeing a lot of this new media coverage,” says Nice-based Elizabeth Chandler, who covered the south of France and Monaco for British media in the 1990s. “They want to seem hip and cool and young and appeal to American tourists and American celebrities, especially the younger ones. It’s gotten too stuffy and off the radar. They want to change that.”
Chandler, who has met the prince and knows some of the people around Charlene, says she believes a lot of the negative press surrounding the couple is partly because they are not as naturally media-savvy and charismatic as Prince William and Kate Middleton. Albert famously stuttered well into adulthood and Charlene often comes across fairly wooden and remote in interviews.
“Prince Albert is actually a great ruler of Monaco,” Chandler said. “He does loads of work for charities that a lot of people don’t even know about. He doesn’t brag about it like Brad and Angelina. He’s cleaned up Monaco by kicking out a lot of the criminals. My friends who know them say he and Charlene are a genuine couple who really care about each other.”
