This article was published in the Monaco Telecom this past Thursday: The Great Hall of the Auditorium Rainier III becomes the "Salle Yakov Kreizberg" September 29, 2011
According to the wish of Prince Albert II, the Great Hall of the Auditorium Rainier III took the name "Yakov Kreizberg room." At the concert on 2 October will be a special ceremony, during which a commemorative plaque will be unveiled in honor of Yakov Kreizberg, Musical Director of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo died in March. The concert will be led by Jean-Matheuza Diego Efflam Bavouzet the piano. Program Huapango the Mexican composer José Pablo Moncayo, follow the piano concerto by Maurice Ravel. Excerpts from suites 1, 2 & 3 of Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev conclude the evening.Rates from € 16 to € 29 Info & Booking 377 98 06 28 28 www.opmc.mc
Albert and Caroline attended the homage concert along with Yakov's wife and son - while I suspect the Narcissistic Con Artist Princess of Monaco is gloating of photos of herself and ready silly comments from her flunkies telling her how beautiful, natural and elegant she is.

Let's be thankful that Charlene was sent out of the country to a fashion show while the serious work was done by Caroline. I don't think I could have taken her pouting or grinning at an event like this which was probably very emotional for many people. JMO.

I think this pretty much sums up what Charlene is for, and who the real Princess is. I wonder when Albert is gonna get rid off that woman. I don't expect it to be to much soon, but it can't take too much longer either.
Thanks God Caroline was there and not the idiot.

I assume that Caroline gave the dedication speech in French.

I am not sure how well Kreizbergs American wife knows French so some of it might have been in English. Obviously Caro had to give the speech as she is the president of the opmc. Besides she is the one who attended the most. And I believe Caro did quiet a lot of convincing to get Kreizberg to come. He was given a lot of things that no other conductor was allowed to do. He hired a lot of talented young musicians. A lot of them are leaving now or on the verge to leave. The artist in residence who Kreizberg chose, Julia Fischer, has been nominated for an Echo recently.
I haven't seen anything about a new conductor though, so I guess the orchestra is back to where it was before Kreizberg came to the rescue.
