I can't stand him either however maybe now an apology from Andrij Melnyk would be the civil thing to do. Tempers flare, especially under undue extreme pressure and we are all clumsy at times with our best intentions. Everybody wants this war to just stop. It's just a suggestion. ☮️

On the day of Diwali no less, the UK changes leaders: www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/oct/24/spotlight-on-rishi-sunaks-family-as-they-prepare-to-enter-no-10Though I'm of the same mind as Lady C on leaving who the people voted for in charge, however that would be ignoring the public backlash about the Covid parties as QE2 sat alone at Philip's funeral which seemed cruel. On the other hand, no one can accuse Mr Sunak of being an underachiever. Cosmetically he's Justin Trudeau & Jameet Singh rolled into one, but conservative. I think his wife will be interesting as First Lady. I think Liz Truss was shown no mercy but I'm glad she was PM through HM's funeral. It will be interesting to see a first-generationer of Indian extract be in charge of the UK and funny to see if there are any latent reflexes towards imperial rule but as a conservative, most likely not. Judging by the welcome he got upon arrival, his party is thrilled with him. Cheer looks good on Britain after the last few months. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11347889/Britains-non-white-Hindu-prime-minister-set-power-Diwali.html

Meanwhile in other news of bad actors... I wasn't going to post this at first but here's what health observation one can infer from someone apparently wearing leg braces to vertically prop him up: There are better ways to live out one's life than wage war.

Pelé and Vivienne Westwood left us today. 2022 is a huge year in loss of great ones. 2023 can't come soon enough.

So the gossip is that Lex Wexner, Epstein's friend, is helping move weapons for Putin through a transport company he owns. Wexner most recently bought off LIV's Greg Norman's house in Florida...

Aaaand a reprieve: www.theguardian.com/world/2023/mar/15/pakistan-police-attempt-arrest-imran-khan-lahore-clashesI hope the general tone will pipe down and parties will communicate. It's not easy to be wedged between larger populated countries so on one hand, defense is understandable but as a republic, it shouldn't come at the expense of people's will. I don't know. 🤷🏻♀️ All I know is that one of my better friends in this life has been a Pakistanese woman who introduced me to butter chicken and other amazing dishes. God bless her. Live another day.

As Trump now prepares to be indicted on Tuesday, unlike others I don't see much of a comparison with Khan on the populist front. I do think it's a generational thing where these men don't know how to behave, don't wait for the pendulum swing nor pick their battles in the meantime. Everything has to happen right now for them. They act like "vedettes" and not for the greater good. It's not "après moi, le déluge". In Pakistan's case, why not make amends, apologize, drop frivolous charges that impede the economy's bailout if that's what they want. Be good Muslims ahead of Ramadan. The world is so rabid now and leaders are not governing. France, I mean, first the gilets jaunes now pensioners...what's next? Every responsible member of society is being radicalized!? Breathe. Count your blessings.

Russia & China, China & Russia... www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-64990826I think Russians will have to learn to speak Chinese... Russia is self-sabotaging and even were it to come out victorious, it would be so weakened and no match for China. And by taking over Russia, it means no more interfacing for the Arctic. It's the lazy man's conquest. It's just there and going to be ripe for the picking. . . . I mean, seriously. Putin killed his generals at each tantrum. We haven't seen this much defenestration since centuries. His people ran off to Phuket and Bali. His Neo-Nazi Wagner guy is out of bullets. His oligarchs are going to fight with what? Soccer players, designer handbags and game stations!? In their yachts? All coked up?

This is the typical 200-year old Rothschildian system described in the Niall Ferguson biography, of smuggling and minting gold. I find it interesting the pivotol role a Canadian national plays in this; back around 2010, my Toronto neighbour was a former US Air Force pilot who did the weekly direct flight to Dubai who told me there was a weekly Lufthansa flight carrying a cargo full of gold, out of Dubai to Europe. So the irony is full-circle. This not only shifts the perspective of the uphill battle of African foreign humanitarian aid but in a way explains the shift towards BRICS, to borrow Goldman Sachs' term - do they mean "gold brics"...? Also, I guess the UAE can afford paying for their appropriation of my work... And what to think of Cop28 now. Smh. This is a massive loss. Paul O'Grady who I watched on TV from the Battersea Adoption Centre. He was a beloved entertainer and a champion of the cause of animal welfare. I don't know how many times he made me cry and laugh over animals.
A spirited man, a relentless and compassionate animal advocate, may he rest in eternal peace.💜♾️

I hate to follow lovely Paul O'Grady in this thread with something grim but here's Switzerland rapping on unscrupulous bankers' fingers for failing their due diligence and compliance with Putin's money. HA! You let Sy Jacobson roam the world with "Swiss banker" for a moniker. SMH. The Boiler Room King. Who, as it happens, and I was just telling Paca, his cousin worked and presumably stashed money there because I was contacted (and cut off from communicating) by someone in Switzerland after his death. I do believe Sy may very well have stolen his cousin's money. Just like he stole Paul-Loup Sulitzer's money. And as I told Paca, it was dirty money anyway so bygones there. There's no honour among those thieves 🤷🏻♀️ www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65123083
