LOL you know it's bad when you have to re-do a PR attempt with kids. This is really just sad. I wonder if they paid the kids to be there? JMO the kids happened to be there as their school is just a few meters away from it. Surely the parents appreciate that photo op. In our school it wouldn't have been allowed as in France these pics are only allowed for school purposes and can not be published before every sngle parent has given their consent. That's why they never aired the bit they shot at our school for the tour. None of the parents had given their consent. And even if the TV was MC, the school was French and hence they would have broken the law if they had aired it. I am surprised I haven't seen an excited post on FB yet, but I guess I will soon The guy sells the pictures on newscom.com (You can not buy on Belga pictures)

great, if it was my kids in that pic, I'd sue them for invasion of privacy. How dare she just grab a few kids and pretend that they were all rushing up to her to get a hug. Anyone ever seen any kid that age run up to a strange giant woman with a distorted face to give her a hug? These kids are only 9 and trashy abuses them for publicity. Nothing in this article or this pic is about the kids or the charity; it is all about her and how she is so casual when around kids. That is so pathetic. At least these kids sort of understood her as at this school children are from English speaking homes. And the parents I know from that school mostly are not particularly fluent in French. But they are British, so no surprise there. The Americans and Brits with a decent upbringing or who are married to a foreigner send their kids to regular schools, so their kids learn decent French. The international school really has a very bad reputation. But since it is very expensive, some parents think that their kids actually learn sth.

trashy had another photoop with kids. This time in MC. guess they realized that she can't only go to foreign countries and not do anything at home. SHe actually went to a school and with Albert to a creche. They say the kids have not been informed in order to keep it a surprise. My take is that they desperately needed a photoop with her in MC. There was no particular occasion for the visit. She went to integration classes. They claim it is for kids with special needs. That's pretty much rubbish. These are not kids with disabilities other then that they probably have English speaking parents and need to learn French. MC is not known for integrating handicapped kids in school. Parents have to really fight for their kids to be scholarised in MC. Anyways her hair looks awful and the dress is inappropriate for a schooL visit. Like the question of one of the kids: so whats your name? her face is plastered in shops all over town and the local children do not even know who she is. sums her up. www.monacomatin.mc/article/monaco/la-princesse-charlene-aupres-des-enfantsHere is a Google translation of the article, which is written by Charlene's number 1 MC media flunkie - Cedric. I love how Cedric wants us to know that this visit is without protocol and Charlene had demanded that the visit be simple - but yet the visits is with Charlene's most important element - a camera crew. I highlighted the funniest or most pathetic comment in this article - you decide. Cedric wants us to know how impressive it is that Charlene said a French word - Bonjour - in response to the children's greetings. After six year of living in Monaco and off of Albert, the woman can say bonjour and Cedric is slobbering praises of IMPRESSIVE. I find this rather pathetic and Monaco should be embarrassed instead of groveling at this woman's feet.
Princess Charlene with children

The young Princess of Monaco yesterday visited two schools to meet the children of the principality
The wife of Albert II went Friday to meet students in the Principality. A visit with ease, without the protocol.
In her own way ... The Princess Charlene had warned in an interview with the British press that it would proceed in stages to build its role as Princess of Monaco. Yesterday morning, on his first solo tour is to meet the children of the Principality she wanted to go, at Saint-Charles. And it was a rare and touching.
Minutes before, the nursery of Monte Carlo, Princess Charlene began her day, accompanied by the sovereign. The couple have played a while with the little ones in the section "Canaillous" , busy people create salt dough. The tone is set. Neither official protocol or decorum. The princess had demanded simplicity. Students at St. Charles School are responsible for receiving in French and English: "Your Highness, we are very proud to welcome you to our school. " Past the politeness, the young assembly was made less shy, answering "hello" in French of the princess. Impressive all the same! Students had been warned at the last moment of his visit unusual to preserve intact the element of surprise. They still found the tempo to interpret the national anthem of Monaco, applauded by their illustrious guest.
"What's your name? " Upstairs, the princess is engaged in a kindergarten class. " Ç ay is, it's there, " lets out a girl curious about the surprise guest. Receive small know, singing for the princess 'week of ducks ", and a nursery rhyme in the language of Shakespeare. Then, as if nothing had happened, cutting and pasting their resume under the eye of Charlene Monaco, lingering for long minutes on their work. At the time of the review, the princess left with a notebook in hand crafted designs by students, full of images ... princesses of course! The children also offered a T-shirt, a sweatshirt and a cap of St. Charles School.
The visit continued in a class adaptation and school integration. True to its commitments to children less fortunate, the wife of the ruler of Monaco wished to meet these students followed by specialist teachers, but integrated into a normal school life.
"And you, what's your name? " Alessandro questions to the princess entered the classroom. General laughter. Attentive, caring, the princess looks at the children’s work.
It's time to study the rules of physics. These moments of complicity will be completed under the eye of the target for the group photo. A picture with a real princess of Monaco, this is a memory that will stay forever in the albums!

Horrible outfit, typical Trashlene style. I hate the way she touches this boy, like one poster said, it is the way some touch the dog. If I were that kid & she would touch me that way I would bite her. I agree with everything above! The outfit is just plain FUGLY - and too short. But, I a m sure it costs several thousands of dollars and thus in Dumblene's mind it is appropriate. Notice Conlene's Hollywood pose even for this photo. These photos of Conlene with other people's children are so contrived and reeks of trying to hard to craft an image. All I see is a narcissistic con artist who wanted another photo opp to show off yet another expensive dull and drab multi-thousand dollar outfit. If this woman actually cared about anyone besides herself, especially children, she could have easily volunteered daily in Monaco or nearby in France before she got the Jackass of Monaco to marry her. Instead, she did absolutely NOTHING. Once she got the engagement ring and solidified it with the tiara and title, she goes on a publicity tour posing with children to show just how much she cares about them. I do not know who is more pathetic and repulsive the Con Artist of Monaco or the people who promote her as some great lover of children's need

I have read that Albert was there and left earlier... I wonder why?
And I do not believe that she spoke one word French on an English school. Why would she do that?

Most important to note is that she went there for now apparent reason. Every other princess has a reason why they show in public. It is their job to honor certain events with their presence. What happened here? why was she there apart from a photo op with kids after stating to the Brit press that she was taking a time off. Obviously that was a statement people in MC did not want to hear and complained about. So they had to come up with sth to at least pretend that she is working...a tiny little bit. Albert always use to attend for a reason. It was either because of the importance of the event, because there was an opening, some new equipment etc etc. He did not use to go without at least a vague reason. Nowadays with him and with her it is only because someone in MC complained and they are trying to damage control and keep people quiet. THAT is definitely desperate, pathetic and shows an incredible weakness. Plus a lack of ability to deal with criticism. Not mentioning that they are highly unprofessional.

I have read that Albert was there and left earlier... I wonder why? And I do not believe that she spoke one word French on an English school. Why would she do that? St charles is not an English school. It is the largest public primary school in MC. There is quite a number of English speaking kids on this school and since they said sth of some special needs kids, I suspect it is kids who newly arrived and need extra French to catch up. MC does not like to accept special needs kids. Parents with children with difficulties who live in MC have to twist peoples arms to get their kids accepted in MC.

I doubt she has learnt anything in french other than "merci" or "chic, très chic". Do you really think she knows how to say thx in any language? other then that I agree and I do not think that she will ever be speaking it. In any case I will not believe that she does until she does an unprepared interview in French. And THAT will never ever happen.
