Caro is smart, doing what she has too, smiling, getting along but the boat is sinking, until a coup, she needs to keep her and the kids feet dry. they have their own money why should they help the non dynamic duo from going bankrupt or out of the world court for corruption? I know one reason: for Monaco's sake! In the end it's not about CW and not even about Albert but about the well-being and survival of a country. Keeping it safe and healthy so the next generation has a future too. Caroline is a princess of Monaco and with that title and the luxuries comes a responsiblity. Work hard for your country and behave yourself in such a way that it can be proud of you instead of being ashamed of you. And that goes as well for the other MC royals, including the Cashiragi trio. Either do something useful or stop parasiting off the name and the fame. JMO. BTW and back on topic: the lack of online articles from Bunte means probably that they will have a big piece in the paper edition coming Thursday.

I wasn't able to get RO to open for 2 days. It just would not open so I missed the bulk of the Rose Ball - I went to imagewire though. I have no idea why it wouldn't open - Anyone else have any trouble? Seems fine now.

The loonie thinks I'm Nadia LaCoste and that I think Thierry is Rainier's bastard son. OMG hilarious! I saw that as well and screamed with laughter! ;D ;D WTH! And just now I saw Mr. E. defended you and pass on a compliment to you! You're moving up, kido!

The page loads fine, just until it is finished loading then "plop" it disappears and it keeps on loading and loading and loading nothing but a white page.... Dead annoying btw. But it is over? <Insert hopeful voice here>

I wondered if someone on the other end did something so we couldn't get info re. the Rose Ball when it was fresh, or if it was just a weird computer glitch.

Bunte has yet another take on the Roseall. They did mention it in their article about trashlene and the reindeers, but this one is more to the topic, albeit mainly about Charlotte. Of course a little snipping about her wearing Chanel when the motto was London, but then again conlene wore akris, which is a far cry from London as well. But hey, they need to rub it in that trashy is not the only one getting it wrong. In any case to me all of their outfits were wrong. None of them got the theme right. The pics could have been taken at any regular ball. Maybe they ought to stop chosing a theme. www.bunte.de/royals/charlotte-casiraghi-sie-rockt-den-rosenball-_aid_31184.html

All I can say is RO posters must have hit a nerve with someone, and I'm the lightening rod for some reason. Many don't like Eringer, but I have come to admire what he stands for and that is telling the truth about Albert and what has happened to Monaco. Monaco is one big mess. On that I think most here will agree. JMO.

The theme balls were Grace's time and they were very elaborate. People really went all out to come in costume. They should just scrap it at this point. In fact I think they should scrap the whole ball period and come up with some new way to fund-raise. The cost of the ball has to eat up any of their profits. I can't imagine it's bringing in much money to the charity. Even the PGA in NY is not what it used to be. The economy has put a huge dent in the extravagance of events like these. Only the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute major annual exhibit attracts a huge designer crowd, but that's it's whole purpose. They pull in huge money too. JMO.

That is exactly what I have been thinking. Too many Balls and all of them are same, themed or not. All of it looks just so stupid and with those two idiots as the captain and his first mate, it doesn't look like it is going to be a smooth sailing (for Monaco or/and the Balls) in the future. They should just give it up and save themselves from the further embarrassment.

I guess I am the oddball because I thought Charlotte looked absolutely exquisite - refined and elegant. I did not like the fabric of Caroline's gown, but i actually liked the design. The fabric made it look like a costume. Charlene's gown looked cheap and made her look like a long vulgar sausage - nothing spectacular (although her flunkies and the sugar loonies are again deluding Charlene into believing that she actually is the most beautiful elegant creature on the earth). Monaco is steadily declining without no one of any substance and class wants anything to do with because of the Charlenification of Monaco, yet Charlene has surrounded herself with a bunch of crazy loons and leeches telling her the opposite of reality - thus more of the same and more decline. Charlene's natural body shape - broad shoulders, no waist, no hips, no busts, no breasts (now vulgar bought ones) hunch back and manly gait does NOT look elegant. Thus, there's no amount of money thrown at this woman that can make her into this elegant classy creature her flunkies and loons that she already is.

No you're not the oddball, I liked Charlotte's dress design although I thought the color was a little washed out for her. I liked the peek-a-boo mini effect. I just thought she should have been in Gucci since she is their ambassador.

I just had one of my assistants down load a bunch of photos of CW I had put in a folder over the years that were on one of my older computers. I put them on a disc. Lots of BEFORE photos - and in various stages of her change. Anyway, there was one where she's in a bathing suit and cap sitting by a pool and this kid said to me, "This is a man, right?" I said, "No. Its supposed to be a female." He said, "No way that's a woman!" Just thought I'd share.

Bunte put Victoria anad her baby on this weeks cover; their bit about the rose ball titles Caroline and Aland his fluzzy are staring as her sidekicks. Haven't seen the article, just the headlines... Point de Vue was the only magazine that mentioned that covered the ball on their cover - and then they even didn't put a photo of Charlene from the ball on the cover. Only the sugar loonies, Charlene's family and Charlene's personal flunkies are promoting Charlene as not only elegantly dressed but the best dressed woman at the ball. When in reality Charlene looked so boring and hard up that no magazine will put her on their cover. Here's Bunte cover with Victoria and baby Estelle. Not one single mention of the Roseball on the cover. Here's the coverage inside the magazine of the ball - notice who is highlighted - Caroline and Charlotte. Also even Caroline and Albert is highlighted in the table of content - which the ball is covered under the Society section and not royalty as they mostly do. Society Princess Caroline shines on the Rose Ball in Monaco next to Albert and Charlene

The lack of coverage of Monaco's balls and other events in the media is a sure tell sign that Monaco's is steadily losing stature in the world of prestige and glamour. Everyone experienced a down turned in the economy, but Albert compounded Monaco's problems with his choice to take a crass, uneducated, uncultured and just vulgar girl and make her the image of his country! Blick complained that Charlene's smile is frozen and it doesn't reach her eyes. Charlene looks hard up and still vulgar regardless of all the millions of dollars Albert has invested in her to make her look presentable. This face does not even appealed to people to buy a magazine (which is why mags are no longer putting her on their cover). Only a true jackass would believe that this face would entice people to travel all over the world to come and visit a country and spend lots of money there.

Charlene did so well in the Rose Ball, that she didn't even appear in this cover: It says: Rose Ball CHARLOTTE CASIRAGHI The true Princess of Monaco, eclipses Charlene and Caroline. It's been 30 years since the lost of Grace Kelly. Her granddaughter Charlotte, worthy heiress of her elegance and beauty, in the arms of Prince Albert, dazzled in the Rose Ball

The last article ( #6) mentions why Albert did not walk in with Charlene - actually Albert and Charlotte came 10 minutes later. Albert did not wan to miss the kickoff of a basketball game.
Charlotte more diva Grace March 26, 2012
Monaco - The Principality has a new first lady, Charlotte Casiraghi . Last Saturday, the dance of the rose has become the dance of Charlotte. To open the season mundane, it was enough for his triumphal entrance to the Salle des Etoiles with Uncle Albert , about ten minutes after his mother, Princess Caroline and Princess Charlene. An entrance so unexpected upset by the canons of strict protocol that usually accompanies official events such as this.
Caroline and Charlene come together shortly after 20.30, elegant, first in black and silver Chanel dress, her favorite fashion house, while Charlene does not deny her love for Akris. They have designed a black dress and gold that leaves her bare shoulders. The two princesses, with ecumenical Cartier earrings and bracelets, link quickly around the room, leaving everyone in suspense because of Prince Albert is not even a shadow. Mystery.
But that's about ten minutes after arriving with her niece, Charlotte, increasingly attractive, very young in a Chanel dress, periwinkle, and a soft bun that puts even more emphasis in her features a doll. But what is striking is her nonchalance: Charlotte is smiling, almost amused and informed to the center. Surprising everyone and tonight she is the queen. In reality, those in the know say that this script was not premeditated, but rather random as Alberto, the first Rose Ball , did not want to miss the kick off of a basketball game that the team of Monaco, this year is going strong, playing at home, at the Stade Louis II. This would explain the delay and Charlotte, who has kindly consented to accompany his uncle, is playing the role of prima donna. A party claiming very well, despite his young age.
The daughter of Casiraghi, however, seems born to the spotlight where it is perfectly at ease and let you shoot with the confident manner of a diva. This is demonstrated on every occasion Grimaldi official home and testing it is cut to appear on the cover is the latest Gucci Sport campaign, which is a testimonial from a couple of years and the results are truly gratifying.
Apparently Charlotte has the same DNA in the blood of her grandmother Grace unforgettable. The daughter of Caroline's personality and loads of style just like the actress from "To Catch a Thief". And if the comparisons are always debatable, Charlotte has a more Mediterranean charm while his grandmother was very icy. Of course, now in Monaco to cheer for Charlotte is more fun than meddling in the affairs of the court.
And you back the princely couple, who were married on 1 July last year. After the arrival of glamor with her niece, Albert sling at the entrance to the usual photos, this time accompanied by his wife and sister Caroline. Absent, however, Princess Stephanie and other children of Caroline, Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi , as if to let the whole scene with her sister. The party finally starts. La Salle is decorated with 14,000 roses form beautiful mixed bouquet with delicate flowers, style very "British". On the walls a barrage of pop images evoke London yesterday, but the maximum eccentricity are tablecloths with the map of the city.
The board more addocchiata? That honor with the young Saudi Prince Salman Al Saud, in front of Albert and Charlene, while alongside Caroline is the owner of Diesel, Renzo Rosso. And Charlotte? At his table any alleged boyfriend, but all scions of noble families or young billionaires like Rybolovleva Ekaterina , daughter of tycoon Dmitriy Rybolovolev. Charlotte smiles when ricapiterà to open the dances at the Rose Ball and lash out with her friends in the British sound?
