aside from the gibberish she speaks at the end of the video you mean? LOL i'd swear her first language isn't english OMG pitiful I noticed that in her first interview - Vancouver - Winterolympics - he was stuttering (he cannot help that) but she displayed language skills of a 10 year old. In her mother tongue which is I guess English.

I thought I had posted this article, but here is another article expressing shock of Albert's disgraced and corrupted dinner guests. Funny, this is the most that the non-dynamic duo have been talked about after leaving a place. Just another instance of bad karma following these two wherever they go and anything they touch. *** From the Herald *** I didn't know about Lowry's royal party, says Gilmore
By Kevin Doyle, POLITICAL REPORTER Monday April 11 2011
TANAISTE Eamon Gilmore has denied any knowledge of an intimate gathering that saw Prince Albert of Monaco rub shoulders with disgraced TD Michael Lowry and banker Michael Fingleton.
Businessman and Honorary Consul to Monaco, Dr Michael Smurfit, did not inform officials in the Department that he was hosting the dinner party at the K Club at the start of the Prince's visit to Ireland.
Social Protection Minister Joan Burton admitted that she was "shocked" to hear that Mr Lowry and Mr Fingleton were wining and dining with the royal visitor. Ms Burton said it was evidence "these guys have not changed their behaviour".
BONUS The incident has embarrassed the new Fine Gael-Labour coalition which earlier this month called for Mr Lowry to resign as a TD in the wake of the Moriarty Report.
While in opposition Mr Gilmore was also one of Mr Fingleton's harshest critics when he refused to return a €1m bonus after his bank, Irish Nationwide, ran into financial difficulty.
At one point Mr Gilmore accused the previous Government of showing "no mercy" towards families struggling on social welfare, but claimed there was "an entirely different set of rules" for Michael Fingleton. Dr Smurfit owns a majority share in the K Club where Prince Albert is an occasional private guest.
The controversial dinner took place the night before the royal began an official visit that included a State banquet with President Mary McAleese.
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs said that it played no role in organising the event.
"The first day of his visit was entirely private," they said, adding that it was not paid for by taxpayers.
However, it is not clear whether Mr Gilmore would speak to Dr Smurfit about the gathering. As Honorary Consul in the principality, the paper and packaging tycoon spends much of his time in Monaco.
His office sits above the Mediterranean and is situated just a short distance from the famous Monte Carlo Casino.

Some O-ton from Ireland about the "Dinner" from this page: www.thepropertypin.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=37338Smurfit invites Lowry and Fingleton to his Royal Dinner “Well Mr. Gilmore knows that Michael Smurfit is Ireland's Honorary Consul to Monaco, so for him to host a dinner for the Prince is simple diplomatic courtesy. And after all, since Monaco is an artificial little construct designed to house tax-dodging sleazeballs of sufficient means, it is only natural that Lowry and Fitzpatrick be invited. It's all pretty consistent from where I'm sitting.“ “I suppose that we shouldn't be surprised that the Crown Prince of a Tax Loophole State lies down with dogs.” “Jasus Yog Smurfit of course, has been for yonks. lives in the Casino or that piece of rock on the French coast and has provided financial blow-jobs to the Grimaldi gangsters for years.”

Although Point e Vue questioned Charlene's sudden conversion to the Catholic faith (I posted the comments in Charlene's conversion) thread, they still are promoting the Albert and Charlene terrible excuse of try to repeat the Prince Rainier and Princess Grace trip to Ireland. The funny thing is that the 1961 trip to Rainier and Grace made to Ireland was a private vacation unlike the full whistles and bells State visit that Albert and Charlene made. I guess it is really difficult for these magazines to try to find a loving and happy photo of these two to match the fairytale love story crap that they are trying to sell. They just have to be content with Conlene's smug satisfaction "I won" smirk.

Here's a link to a radio interview of a distant cousin of Albert's, Anne . The interview was conducted with RTÉ Talk Radio host Tubridy on Thursday, April 7th. I didn't know this, but the pouring down rain on Wednesday during their visit to Newport was rare for the area, which she felt deterred more towns people from coming out. Anne stated, "The rain came down and it so rarely rains here." Just another instance of bad karma following these two. The interview is rather dry, mainly a detailed account of Albert's visit. she spoke very highly of Albert. As for Charlene, I feel she was being rather polite and making excuses for what I saw in the video a very robotic person. Anne's Description of Albert at time 2:34 in the interview
Tubridy: Anne, tell me what he was like. Anne: Well, I thought, I mean when you think of a prince, it was the first time that I met a prince. He’s a normal guy! I thought eh, he was very personable; he’s a great listener. He wants to hear what everyone has to say. He was very open to having photographs taken. You got the feeling that he loved being among his own people, which must be special for him and I thought just a very, a very kind guy. But, what amazed me, because I was exhausted after the day, was his stamina. And, he had been going on the go for three days in different functions in Dublin and Galway and he didn’t appear to show any signs of tiredness. Or eh, he kept going; he was on his feet all the time meeting people. And, when we finished at Newport House he went to a local hostelry and continued to meet and chat and everything. He just had great energy. So, I would love to know where he gets his energy.
Anne's Description of Charlene at time 7:21 in the interview
Tubridy: Now was the Misses bored stiff or was she having a great gas? Anne: Well, it’s hard to know.
Tubridy: Yes, she didn’t look like she was having the bit best holiday of her life I wondered. Anne: Well I’ll say, that’s why I said to you about the stamina. Well, I’ll say it’s quite...
Tubridy (interrupting): Exhausting Anne: Exhausting. She was very genuine and appeared… I mean she had a lot to take in and obviously the Prince was much more aware of the whole thing. This was all new to her…
Tubridy (interrupting): Well, she kind of dragged along a bit I tell you. Anne: Well, you know, she was escorting him. Well, I believe she loved the family homestead area and expressed an interest in that, a huge interest in maybe coming back so who’s to say…
Tubridy (interrupting): Always talk to the missus. Keep an eye on the missus while the Prince is walking around because she will be ultimately driving the whole show once she gets the ring on the finger. That’s how it works. Anne: That’s true. Well, I think he has a lovely girl there and we all wish them the very best from this town.

As with the radio interview i posted yesterday, when locals describe Albert and Charlene's visit to Mayo county they have glowing reports about Albert's friendliness and nothing to say about Charlene's behavior and attitude besides a polite - she is lovely. Here's an article with more of the same. There's nothing memorable or impressive to say about Charlene - for those who actually met her and talked to her. Charlene is nothing but a walking clothes hanger - void of any charisma which would make people remember her. Anne (the distant Kelly relative) stated the pouring down rain on the day of their visit was very RARE for this area - but this is just another example of the BAD KARMA that is flowing that is following this couple EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING that visit and they touch. SOMETHING TO REMEMBER ME BY Prince Albert and his fiance Charlene Wittstock unveils a plaque at the Gráinne Uaile Bar to mark their visit*** From the Mayo News ***
Locals delighted to meet up with royalty

The build-up to Prince Albert’s visit to Newport may not have had the same sense of anticipation as that of his late mother, Grace Kelly’s visit 50 years ago, but the excitement on his arrival was no less evident.
Confirmation of the Prince’s visit to the home of his ancestors was only received the week previously and was described as a private visit, separate from his official engagements. But the short notice did not stop the people of Newport from decorating the town with the red and white of Monaco and to make the Prince feel at home.
Young and old were caught up in the excitement of the visit with locals telling stories of his mother’s visits to Newport and how she would walk through the town and have time to chat to the public. Meeting the Kellys Prince Albert’s visit to Newport was very much a private visit and a chance for him to meet his relatives and visit the home of his great-grandfather John Kelly without the glare and intrusion of the media. After a visit to his ancestral home in Drimurla, Prince Albert returned to Newport House for a private greeting with up to 25 other members of the Kelly clan.
Among those who were present was Tony Kelly from Cogaula, Westport who as a 23-year-old made a presentation to Princess Grace on behalf of the Kelly family on her first visit to Newport in 1961. Fifty years later Tony described the day as ‘the best day I had in a long time’ and was delighted to attend.
“I was delighted I went because I was a bit reluctant to go at first because I am getting old now but I’m glad I did. It was the best day I had in a long time and it was great to meet all my relatives,” he said.
This was the first time Tony met Prince Albert who was only a toddler in 1961 and he described him as a ‘down to earth person’ who made time for everyone he met.
“He is a very down to earth person and very plain and ordinary. It was not formal at all and he talked to everyone in the room and was very content to be there.”
During his talk to his third cousin, he showed him a photograph taken in America of the Prince’s great-grandfather John Henry Kelly, his grandfather John ‘Jack’ Kelly and his grand-uncles.
“It has been in the house for as long as I can remember. I showed it to the Prince and he could recognise people from the photo. His grandfather was only young at the time. It was sent from the US to Ireland at the beginning of the last century and it is a lovely photograph. I don’t know if he ever saw it before.”
The excitement of the visit was shared not only by the relatives of Prince Albert and those who remembered his mother’s visits but also by the young people of the area who up until a week ago had probably never heard of Monaco or Grace Kelly.
The old schoolhouse In Cuilmore National School close to the Kelly’s homestead in Drimrula the school archive was opened to try to find the name of John Kelly in the old roll books. Tracy Hanley, Principal of Cuilmore NS, explained that during the week the children learned more about Monaco and they did discover a John Kelly from an old roll book which they believe was the Prince’s great-grandfather. “We did find a John Kelly from a roll book in 1879 and while we are not 100 per cent it was the John Kelly, the dates coincide and it looks genuine,” explained Tracy. “The roll books are well preserved and are wrapped in plastic to keep them dry and they are easy to read. We know he would have gone to school in Cuilmore and the name John Kelly is in black and white. During the week we learned more about John Kelly and his background and how he attended this school before going to America.”
While the Prince himself did not visit the school, a camera crew from TG4 did visit to look at the roll book and Tracy said there was great excitement among the children.
“Some of the children did meet Prince Albert in Newport House and during the week we were learning more about Prince Albert and Monaco. Before last week the kids would not have been sure who he was but there was great excitement with the visit. It is not every day a Prince comes to your village.”
A visit to the pub On the final leg of his visit to Newport, the Prince and his fiance Charlene Wittstock were due to walk from Newport House across the bridge to the Gráinne Uaile pub but the Mayo mist and rain put paid to any walkabout. However, it did not stop the Prince from visiting the Gráinne Uaile for a singsong and session of music and eventhough he was scheduled to stay for 20 minutes he stayed for over an hour.
Harry McManamon, the owner of the Gráinne Uaile explained that he was only given two days notice the Prince would be visiting sparking a royal clean-up of the pub. The Prince unveiled a plaque commemorating his visit to the Gráinne Uaile and according to Harry he happily mingled with the people as if he was a local himself.
“My God, it was very exciting. It was a massive shock when I was told Prince Albert would be visiting but it was an absolute honour and privilege for myself and my family that he came to our place and we were over the moon. I thought he would be in and out but he stayed for nearly an hour and a half and moved around the room talking to people. He was very easy to talk to and had no problem talking to the locals and even sang a song.
“There was only about 25 people allowed into the pub during the time he was there so we had to put our regulars names in a hat and pull out who would be allowed in. There were a lot of names in the hat but it was the fairest way. Everyone was very understanding. There was great excitement around the place for the visit and this has to be good for Newport.”

Anne (the distant Kelly relative) stated the pouring down rain on the day of their visit was very RARE for this area - but this is just another example of the BAD KARMA that is flowing that is following this couple EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING that visit and they touch. ;D thanks so much for that article. tramolina made quiet an impression it seems the pub owner is so happy and honored the nondynamic duo stayed longer, guess he doesn't know our FAtAl, if there's free beer he'll hang as long as he can ROFL it seems another rush job to just spring the visit on such short notice >> par for the course with the usual PR FAIL....i'm thinking the mumbling after the "private" dinner with the shamed crooks made the inept PR person shuffle around and try to show he's a "normal guy" oh oh and to quote ;D " VERY plain and ordinary" ;D the mental picture of trashlene having to smile through FAtaL singing SINGING and sucking up to the locals, just makes me laugh.

well one thing about us Irish , is nice is not nice as in nice If you where trying to set someone up on a date and you said their were nice, you'd not get the date of the ground. If a fella met a girl and went off and the next day his friends ask what was she like and he said she was nice, they,d fall around the place laughing, same for a girl. If you met your Brothers girlfriend and your mother asked what was she like and you said she was nice, the mammy would be like a dog with ya. nice here mean bla , but the old saying if you can,t say any think nice, don't day any thing . And if some one say your a nice girl, your fecked, pack your bags and go it really is not a compliment .

wonderful, thanks for the cultural nuance....again PR FAIL
i"m curious if there is any political fallout to those politicans that associated with him and a backlash on the waste of money to support the ego tour especially since it seems clear to me he used this trip as an excuse to meet with the corrupt crooks (he probably left with a suitcase full of cash JMO but really he meets with the CROOKS the first days he landed.) everytime he visits a country chaos follows behind him.
