ASM is still in first place in League 2.
The tennis boys lost 2-3 to Lithuania in Roquebrune (Davis Cup). They were 2-1 in front after the first two days but lost their last two matches. (Last one due to a thigh injury). No mention of tennis-adoring barbie being there, but Lithuania isn't SA and she doesn't get out of bed to cheer on Monaco.
And Daniel Elena (rally co-driver) has been chosen as a member of the FIA's drivers' committee.

With only one more match to go this season, ASM has an unbeatable lead and will end in first place. Which means promotion back to the first league, provided they figure out their non-taxpaying issues with the French soccer union/foundation/whatever. Last match next Friday (24th) against Tours and Monaco leads with 73 points. The second one is Nantes with 68 points. Perhaps not really considered a "sportive achievement" but this is coming up this Saturday night. Wonder if Daddy W is part of it? Neither boxer is from SA. He might just show up to "keep his finger in the pie." The Monte Carlo Boxing Bonanza is taking place on the evening of Saturday the 21st of February and will include Gennady Golovkin against Martin Murray. It’s taking place in the Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte Carlo. Tickets are available from the usual outlets or by calling Monaco 98 06 36 36. You can see the full programme for the evening and get ticket information at www.montecarlosbm.com."

The Monaco authorities and team managements are thinking ahead! From today's Riviera Radio online:
"Alcohol Ban – The Principality of Monaco is stepping up security measures ahead of tonight’s high profile Champions League match between Monaco and Turkish team Fenerbahce. A complete ban on alcohol around the Monaco Louis II stadium is in place."
