I'm wondering if the fact that the wedding is taking place in Monaco and that Andrea's position as an heir (with his own heir), has now put Caroline in a politically advantageous position. It might explain all the drama about who didn't get invited. I also think that Charlene may be "down-sized" in her role and slowly disappear with a small announcement of separation down the road in a year or two. By that time, Andrea may have a second child. Just a thought. From your lips to God's ears!

a lengthy article about the family. Interesting bit about Caro and Ernst. They are using a word that in German insinuates that they were both often drunk. So not only he was drunk, so was she. As I have mentioned before, there are lots of alcoholics in MC and you often see Caro with alcohol too. Her friend Lagerfeld once said about people who drink a lot of alcohol that they have in proportion to the rest of the body skinny legs. Well, I think Caro does fit that description... Anyways they finish by saying that in view of relationships of the Grimaldis Tatiana and Gad are pretty courageous... www.welt.de/vermischtes/article119558060/Die-schrecklich-nette-Grimaldi-Familie-feiert-Hochzeit.html

On the one side you envy those people for their money (I´m not going to lie here lol), but on the other side you are glad you are not one of them.

Imo they did it right to have it small, we just saw two very happy people and this is so much better than the weeks of promotion for Al and his runaway bride lol

Imo they did it right to have it small, we just saw two very happy people and this is so much better than the weeks of promotion for Al and his runaway bride lol What struck me is how happy Andrea looked. I don't think I've ever seen him smile like that. He was genuine, radiant, and happy. Tatiana as well mirrored this. I am happy for them. I agree refia, small with good friends and no Charlene hogging the photos. I wonder if there is even one photo of her or if she had prior commitments and wasn't there. Should be interesting to see what other photos they release. JMO

well, she does have one tomorrow, so..... anyways I haven't seen a close up of the group picture if she is there. I'd be surprised if ALbert was missing in action and I'd love to know if Steph and her kids were there, but I suppose they would be. I think if trashy wasn't there or any family member was missing, then tongues would be wagging like you wouldn't believe it. There are enough important people from MC there who would be mentioning it....

well, I can't see many faces as apparently either my eyesight is too bad or my screen to small, but I can see that trashy and fatty are in the middle and she is wearing a very light beige again. Not really the kind of colour you should be wearing to a wedding when you are not the bride. her outfit doesn't seem to be going with the theme either. I do like that Tatianas dress is not such a typical wedding dress. She can wear it to other occasions as well IMO. This wedding is so reflecting Tatiana. Very personal as it should be. Not like that awful thing they had 2 years ago. I wonder what they will do in Gstaad. Though IMO they are overdoing this wedding thing by having another one in december. Looks a bit like a pretext to party. They could have used the chapel in the palace for a church wedding.

Completely private wedding means no sharing the celebration with the Monegasques, No acknowledgement of Andreas as third in line. So maybe Albert still expects Charlene to pop out an heir or two.

Completely private wedding means no sharing the celebration with the Monegasques, No acknowledgement of Andreas as third in line. So maybe Albert still expects Charlene to pop out an heir or two. it wasn't completely private. There were important people from MC invited. It was stated in an article that there was jealousy about who did get invited and who didn't and I find that rather credible (whereas with trashys wedding people were invited and no one really wanted to go, even those with ties to the family; they were desperate to get the chairs full on the day and in view of the empty places, I suspect that they even allowed people in who didn't have an invite). Before MC weddings used to be all private. Grace and Rainiers wedding was the first one to be celebrated publicly. And for several reasons. Caro only celebrated her first wedding with the Monegasques. There are always officials invited to their weddings. They have to. But they don't have to invite everyone. Andrea is not officially declared heir, so he could have the wedding he wanted. Albert could have had a more relaxed wedding as well, especially the Friday part. But they created plenty of pressure for themselves and the interview marathon they put themselves through didn't help. People were pretty much fed up with hearing about it by the time it took place. It was more an get it over and done with attitude then actually celebrating the occasion. They could have done it differently, but for them and especially trashy it was all about showing them all and hoping to top Will and Kate. Nothing about their wedding was them, apart the fakeness. This wedding was reflecting the couple and mostly the bride and that's why everyone was relaxed and enjoyed it. Well, everyone but trashy I guess. Loved that the paparazzi repeatedly had pics of the pram Yeah, keep rubbing it in on a very natural level

Yes it was their wedding and I wish them luck. But I read that people outside the palace heard clapping and cheering from inside. It would have been generous if the couple had waved from the balcony for 60 seconds. I think Albert and Charlene should try harder to have children, because I doubt that Andreas is interested in the principality.
