Let's not forget that Baby Cambridge is also due this month -- so more thunder stealing to come! Trampy can't catch a break!

well that is an unusual name in the family ( Sacha is apparently officially called Alexandre as we had suspected), but it seems a very Tatiana like choice. It does have a touch of celebrity style name, but is not as bad as calling your daughter North, James or Wyatt (still wondering if that one was born with a smoking gun in hand....). It's more Beckham style...

It seems to be popular among aristos, the first one who crossed my mind was India Hicks, the bridesmaid of Diana.

I rather like the name India and certainly reflects the Boho-tendancies of Andrea and Tatiana. So, it's authentic to who they are. The wack-jobs over on the Sugahs are aghast at the name. Of course, these are the same people who are apologists for Trampy -- so, I'll consider the source!

Since she's not in line for the throne, there is a certain freedom there...but India?? For a tourist-oriented principality, they're going to let her go around promoting India? Welcome little India!

And it's a Monaco paper too.. Hmmm... I'm going to put my Mad RO cap and say: it's a hint the twins will be deposed before they make it to the throne, when they go back to SA with CC after the imminent divorce once they find a willing rugby player to stage toe-sucking photos by the pool and an outraged Albert becomes the Lonely Tragic Prince of Monaco all over again! I hear the violins. Anyone else?

Since she's not in line for the throne, there is a certain freedom there...but India?? For a tourist-oriented principality, they're going to let her go around promoting India? Welcome little India! Maybe a clue to the name 'India." Found on Wiki page of Tatiana: Tatiana Santo Domingo was born on 24 November 1983 in New York and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, and Paris, France. Her father Julio Mario Santo Domingo, Jr. was the son of Julio Mario Santo Domingo, who was cited as the second richest man in Colombia by Forbes in 2011.[2] Her mother Vera Rechulski is a former Brazilian socialite from São Paulo, who has a boutique in Paris that sells Indian antiques.[3] Tatiana Santo Domingo has a younger brother, Julio Mario Santo Domingo III, born in 1985. After attending the International School of Geneva, Santo Domingo was educated at a boarding school in Fontainebleau, near Paris, where she met her future husband Andrea Casiraghi.[4] Also the word "India" may have been chosen and used as the daughter's name for "subliminal branding." Here's the link to her co-owned fashion site that proves that "India" is very important. (Yikes, will the next kid be named "Guatemala"?) I did not respond at first but do it anyway the name...sorry, but give a child a normal neutral name - and give her a nickname. people will always ask her the question: "I hope that's not your name?" I hear them all laughing ...
and who says she will follow boho style? Perhaps she will become director of the Louvre or maybe she lead the Metropolitan Opera in New York ... nice if you have to apply for a job with a name india. I did not know that it is a first name ...

I'm not for alternative names. Nickname them whatever you want, I agree. I still have a hard time with Albert's daughter's name and that's just with spelling.
