Charlene does what the hell and only goes to the events that she what to go to. There is a video at the end of this France 3 article (English version posted in next post) featuring old women who are waiting for Charlene. These aRe the only type of people that go out of their way to see this woman - for these older French women Charlene looks the part of what they think a fairy tale princess should look like - white skin of course , blond hair, blue eyes, tall and thin. For them like all the sugah loonies, if you look good then you are good. She should have attended this trip not only to trace's her new family's history with her new husband, but to promote Monaco in the region. Thye have been making a HUGE deal about Albert's visit in this region. Doesn't matter because Charlene's sucker is singing her praises to the press as the greatest thing that ever happened to Monaco (when he knows it's a lie), so now she can do even less than the little she did in the last year. Actually, don'tr be surprised to see Charlene doing more trips OUTSIDE of Monaco like the fashion shows and the German trip. She now realizes that this is considered work for her. She may even now pass off vacations like the Malibu one as work also by visiting some place with props children and pose with them to collect photos for her Foundation. The sugah loonies will LOVE this.

It seems that Albert was late - as usual. The women even sang the South African National Anthem anticipating Charlene's arrival. I love how in the article they bring up the rumors again.

During Albert's wedding last year, these people celebrate with festivities in their town - they even rang the church bells - but the Monaco ingrate cannot even bother to show up and visit sugah loonies who seem to adore her inspite of her true character. People waited in the rain to see him at Saint-Cast-le-Guildo. Charlene would have gotten a great sugar fix at this scene.

Here's an interview Albert conducted with Ouest France. Albert explains why Charlene did not accompany him. Good lawd this woman really truly lucked out with a sucker like Albert. she could not do this trip and Germany three days later. He has such low expectations and standards for her, thus when she puts forth the basic amount of effort, he deems her successful. Monaco will definitely go far under their control.
Visit. Prince Albert II of Monaco in the Cotes d'Armor
Collected by Philip COCHEREAU Thursday, july 5, 2012 His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco visits for the first time on Thursday and Friday, the country of his ancestors Matignon. Without Charlene.
What meaning do you give this visit in the footsteps of your ancestors in the Cotes d'Armor? I wanted to go every year in one of the former possessions of my family. This allows me to discover areas that I previously knew only by the history that bound them to my predecessors. This brings me to come especially to meet people and renew their ties with them as time and distance had weakened.
This return to my roots is important for me because they allow me, as to each, to become aware of the moral legacy left by those who preceded us.I also feel the soul of these extraordinary landscapes and the people who made them live, and soak up the special atmosphere of this country, its light and its relief.
Finally, I wish to thank those who took an active part in preparing these days, I know they have put all their heart.
Why this visit now? What is the nature of your commitment to this in Brittany you will discover? This visit is taking place now in that, after several local initiatives, I was invited by the authorities concerned to visit the country of Matignon. I could not find the time previously required.
The attachment to this Breton territory, illustrated by the title of Sire de Matignon I am proud to continue to bring me far away from my family because in 1715, Louise-Hippolyte Grimaldi, who was sovereign princess of Monaco, married Jacques de Goyon-Matignon, from an old Breton lineage, one branch settled in Normandy in the fifteenth century.
I also made last year in the Channel, and I have happy memories of the welcome I had been booked.
What representation do you make of these ancestors? Paradoxically, they are close to me, because the idea of their past role was given to me by the contemplation of a series of tables that are in a gallery of the Palace in Monaco. They illustrate the deeds of Matignon, in their heroic participation of famous episodes in the history of Britain, battles, sieges. I always try to think about the examples they give us life.
And then, the work of the builders of my ancestors was known to me by the Fort La Latte, this beautiful medieval setting that I have seen in several major film productions.
What benefits of your visit municipalities that welcome you can they expect? Would you like to strengthen relations between the Principality and the Kingdom? I know the municipalities concerned have worked long to the success of my visit. I shall inaugurate several historic routes and exhibitions dedicated to my marriage and my family history in countries Matignon. These municipalities will benefit from media coverage and tourism efforts.
I'm, you know, pay attention to efforts to preserve the environment and ecosystems incurred by the affected communities of the Cotes d'Armor. This could be one of the axes of maintaining lasting relationships between us.
Charlene will the princess accompany you? Charlene will not be present but I want her to be during an upcoming visit to the region. she is also curious in the history of Grimaldi and I want her to discover these surprising places. This move is part unfortunately in a busy period for us all. We start from July 8th elsewhere for an official visit to Germany.

It seems if they were still singing the South African anthem no one told them she wouldn't be there - how rude. They made that effort. They take everything for granted.

LOL they probably had prepared it for last time when she didn't show. IMO it would be highly inappropriate to sing the SA anthem after the wedding. I doubt that people sing the Australian anthem or the Argentinian anthem whenever Mary or Maxima arrive. An SA famous folksong would be more appropriate as a nod to her origins, but then they would have to know one she would recognize....

I think it is appropriate to sing the South African national anthem seeing that last year she could not sing Monaco's national anthem. ;D Of course she can't, it's in a foreign language! ;D I never figured which foreign language, French or Monegasque, but since she can't speak either it doesn't matter anyway. Now if she was allowed to sing the English translation... cue music My name is charlene! My name is charlene! I rule the world and do whatever I please I can't believe my luck I married such a duck I'm lazier than a sloth my subjects must bow to me or go down on one knee they work to please me and to provide my fee unlimited money to spend unlimited clothes to buy My name is charlene! My name is charlene! I rule the world and do whatever I please I'm lazy as a man can be working, that's not me adore you shall me or else in prison you shall be etc.
