I think Pierre should still go after the thug civilly because he STILL hasn't learn his lesson. Hock is still trying to play the victim when he clearly isn't! Plea deals of lesser charges is the norm (90% of criminal cases in the U.S. end in plea bargain - only 10% go to trial) and just because you take a plea of a lesser charge does NOT mean that you did not commit the original charge. Hock is hoping everyone else is just as dumb as he is. Hock’s attorney, Joseph Tacopina, said the plea was not an admission of guilt to assaulting or harassing anyone at the club, only to involvement in what amounted to “a bar scrum.”
“I said on Day One he would not admit to assault or striking these people in a criminal manner,” the lawyer said.
Hock, who was a part-owner of Hawaiian Tropic Zone, said he is now a co-founder of the Independent Libya Foundation, a philanthropic group.
He was originally charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor assault for injuring Casiraghi and his pals, was also ordered to stay away from the royal’s crew — Stavros Niarchos, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld and Diego Marroquin. He could have faced up to a year in jail if convicted of assault.
Joseph Tacopina? Where have I heard that name -- was it the Joren Vandersloot/Natalie Holloway situation where he represented Van der sloot? For him to take the case, and then have his client plead guilty for a lesser crime means the case against his client was rock solid. JMO

You can't chide him for enjoying his good looks while he's young, come on. There is plenty of time for seriousness. Though if I were Beatrice, I wouldn't appreciate my sweetheart plastered around the world for women to start going mad over. Slight drawback there IMO. Modelling places you in the public mind as necessarily single as a sex object. You know how women rate men's shoes, right? Sex appeal. I rest my case.

I wonder how people would judge Harry if he did that.... but I forgot he has a real job and is a real royal... IMO it's cheap. He doesn't need to do it for the money. So why do it? Vanity? Does he want the publicity? Or does he want it because it's easy money? A friend of his is doing this kind of job too. Also a rich kid. I prefer that those who actually need the money do the job, not those who are bored and spoilt so they can say they are actually doing sth for a living...

I don't know paca, by the time his Uncle is done bankrupting Monaco and SMB, Pierre might actually need the cash. I would think they would offer him a couple million to do it, so it was very easy money. Even a rich man can't turn down a couple of million. It's also a little tongue and cheek considering the brawl was over a bottle of booze. The bigger question is why would people find what happened at that nightclub and anyone associated with it as a good ad campaign? Drink this and you too can get a broken jaw at a posh nightclub.

they already have their cash. Their dad was wealthy and their mom got plenty from her dad. Plus whatever she inherited from Grace. Whether MC is bankrupt or not doesn't matter to him much. There is the Helicopter company, but that isn't too much affected. Besides they could easily transfer their business. It's not like it's a huge place. ANd whatever realestate they have doesn't really lose it's value as it only has a specific value when you want to sell it. Well, I am sure that Gucci pays well for Charlottes horses, so that her little hobby doesn't cost her, maybe he wants to get his racing financed. Guess they learned from their uncle to never spend your own money on your leisure. That's why he get's trashy sponsored by Dior etc.... I doubt she pays for her clothes. Besides she love people to suck up to her and giving her things for free.
Where did you get the bar part info?

I was just putting together Pierre's fame as the wealthy kid making news for getting his jaw broken in NYC post night club. It's not a great image to project on a product.

LOL yeah, but in EUrope it wasn't reported much so, maybe it didn't stick in peoples mind that much. I think they are more banking on the Caroline and Grace connection. Pierre doesn't really have an image apart from going to parties, travelling with his uncle and being photographed with his gf. He doesn't have an education, he doesn't have a job, he doesn't stand for anything really except for being rich and going to parties. The positive part about him is being Carolines son. And that pretty much goes for all her children. They don't stand for anything really. CHarlotte likes horses, so at least there is a connection and I guess Pierre wears shoes. But they do not have an image other then being rich party kids.

Pax, you're slowing down; you forgot to mention he could be an alcoholic in there LOL IMO It's not because others think you should sit on your wealth for people to freely scorn you that your freedom to chose to work should be limited for that reason. Just think of it as another source for scorn! Everybody's happy!

I thought Ernst already has that part covered for the family. Got to have at least one drunk in the family. trashy is covering the junkie part and Albert and Steph the male and female sluts. Caro the intellectual, so not many parts left there for stereotyping. Crazy is sufficiently covered by the baby mamas....

Sometimes you have to access the abstract part of your mind to see the possibilities of connectivity to overarching themes. For instance, Pierre maybe does "humour de bottine" or cooks meat like "de la semelle de botte", or is "bon pied, bon oeil" - I could go on. Which brings to mind, he'd be good for sunglasses. He comes from a holiday destination, where it's sunny a lot

LOL, well I don't think he will have a career as a model. I believe the building is the construction of the new yacht club. I honestly don't get their message. He never worked in construction and you don't dressthat way in construction. Who do they want to sell their shoes to? construction workers? The red helmet looks like a pretty dumb prop with Pierre. Maybe he should take it to his next bar brawl....

DREAMY!!! He looks like what Masters dreamed up when they painted. He looks heavenly. Good job!! Whoever photographed should be commended. The styling is also impeccable. The helmet is symbolic. Well done. I'm glad there was some conceptualizing and wasn't a blunt photo campaign. But again, if I were beatrice, I'd be livid. You don't go around exposing your boyfriend to the competition.

We missed how Vanity Fair last month harped on the nightclub brawl with the Hock thug. Hmmm... I read the article and didn't think much of it. It looked like they pieced together all the tabloid stuff and tried to string it together as a profile piece. Not sure what their goal was. Looked more like they were after the rich naughty boy image. It didn't come across that way to me. More like they did a hatchet job. JMO.
