RP, recall from Charlene's Australian interview conditions spoken by her flunkie, Charlene doesn't like doing interviews with women reporters because she feels they are too catty. Realize, all of Charlene's original contact with her sycophantic media mouthpieces (Paris Match, Bunte,m Point de Vue and Gala) were all men. Later, she had a female flunkie from Paris Match who lived in Monaco as her mouthpiece. I am guessing this silly drag queen looking woman believes that male reporters are more likely to do her bidding. Charlene's success with her original media mouthpieces has deluded her into thinking that she can control the media. She is too dumb to realize that Albert's stupidity in believing this sycophantic pres was more responsible for her success in striking goal than her actually media savvy in controlling the press. I don't think that Albert and Charlene will ever do a live interview. They have a lot banking on this Piers Morgan "replacement" interview and I am sure they have controlled every segment of it. It will be an extremely fluff piece and all Charlene cares about is that she gets to say her practiced lines about her foundation and all that she will do for children all over the world. Not a little paranoid perhaps? Some of the world's finest interviewers are women!?! Maybe her conscience is such that she thinks all women are fatty towards each other. She certainly showed her cattiness, especially towards the mothers of Albert's children. I mean, how vindictive was that? In any event, the two of them should STOP trying to work the media. They're neither naturals nor agile enough. From a marketing point of view, their image as a couple is much too weak. Just enjoy the games, because frankly that's their intellectual level, and stop trying to convince people. It's becoming abusive to viewers.

I just tuned into Piers Morgan and no mention of Fat Al and Trampolina. Perhaps the interview wasn't usable? he is still been doing Romney and wife and Monday is Phelps. Maybe it'll be next Friday? the time they need to view the footage in MC and then to reshoot and reword the answers?

I don't believe Piers tapes his interviews. I thought he liked a live format because he likes putting people on the spot. If he likes you he will softball the questions, and if he doesn't then he does the "tabloid" gottcha questions. Larry King seldom taped an interview and if he absolutely had to to get the interview, he'd announce it upfront that it was taped. I don't believe Piers was desperate to interview this couple, but may be there was some special other person he wanted to interview and Albert promised him he'd set that one up. Then, I think he might agree to a taped interview. I actually don't really think in the case of Charlene, it's going to much matter, because as we've seen, even the taped ones are just short of a disaster. If they keep throwing hissy fits, nobody's going to want to ever interview them. It would be a waste of time and money. JMO As you can see from the twitter pic, the interview already took place. It will be aired while the opening ceremony takes place and Albert will be present. It is not live an neither was Romneys. Go to his twitter account and you can see some details. They were actually helicoptered to different places during the romney interview. Romney has caused himself already so much trouble in Europe, that his people would not allow a live. They are too busy damage controlling. European press is having a field day with his clumbsyness and ignorance in international matters. Even his choice of countries is being mocked. He is lucky that most Americans don't read international press or concern themselve with international politics. That said, I think you are deluding yourself thinking that Morgan has much of a choice who he wants to talk to and under which conditions. He is a journalistic lightweight. He may have a perception of himself or how he wants people to see him, but actually he is quite a twat. And he knows it; look at the creepy twitter pic. The guy is just short of getting into their butts. this will be an all fluffy interview. Don't expect any difficult questions. They never get them. Otherwise they'd be confronted with some real journalists and not some realityshow recycle... Might as well have the Kardashians do the interview... May be Albert paid them to do the interview? or may be they taped it as a "fill in" for a time when they might need one? Really odd IMO.

so I guess it took them all weekend to review the interview and see if it can be aired. Nothing has been announced on CNN yet. Tonight they have Phelps and that has been announced way since last week.

The princely couple was interviewed by Piers Morgan in London for his show'' Piers Morgan Tonight'' broadcast will be on CNN tomorrow. As I stated in a previous post - the palace will make an announcement and promote this interview as their official anniversary interview. knew they were going to do this. Charlene's PERSONAL PR flunkies will be promoting this interview all over the Internet I can tell you one thing for sure that will be featured in the interview - the promotion of Charlene through her biggest narcissistic feat - the Princess Charlene Foundation. Charlene was royally PISSED that CBS must have edited out the comments she made about her Foundation and her LOVE and CARE of children. Someone wrote some lines for her and Charlene has been practicing them and the CBS interview was supposed to be her glory - her promotion - all about her. The Piers Morgan "replacement" interview is similar to the Nice Matin "replacement" interview that the palace used to replace Charlene's fiasco engagement interview with Patrick Poirve de Arvor - where Charlene's true self shine through for all to see - immature, childish and downright dumb! The morning after the PPDA interview aired, the palace had Nice Matin to publish the photos of Charlene with PPDA along with the Nice Matin palace supplied Charlene interview as Charlene's OFFICIAL engagement interview. The palace felt that people's negative impression of Charlene gained by their direct observation of her dumb crass and arrogant behavior that shine through the television screen would just disappear with their replacement interview of hers. It didn't work. So watch - the Piers Morgan interview will be heavily scripted and once the palace gets the infomercial that they want, the will place the link on the palace website as the OFFICIAL 1st anniversary interview of Monaco's fairytale couple. They will expect everyone to forget anything that was presented during the CBS interview. Charlene's PR flunkie team will hit all the royal message boards praising the Piers Morgan interview as the REAL interview by a professional reporter as opposed to the one conducted incompetent tabloid CBS News (which is what they are calling CBS) reporter. But in reality, the CBS News interview conducted in the palace was supposed to be their OFFICIAL 1st anniversary infomercial interview. Their plans backfired - as all their other deceptive plans have. When will these two learned that they are only reaping what they have sown?

I finally watch the interview (let's see how long this copy stays up) and I must admit the entire presentation of the interview was extremely negative. It was truly a hatchet job - but I don't think it started out that way. I believe that Charlene's nasty shitty bitchy attitude throughout the interview was the deciding factor in the final spin of the interview. Charlene gave Holly Williams all the ammunition she needed to present the type of interview that she did. I believe that this interview was Charlene's idea and it was supposed to feature Charlene and her foundation. This is why Holly accompanied Charlene to the pool so that Charlene could show off all the good work that she is doing for all those needy children on the world's "five continents." The problem that Charlene - and Albert - haven't seem to grasp yet is that they do not see themselves for whom they really are. Albert and Charlene keep creating this "do-over" of every horrible event they have ever done whether it is kiss or interview because they haven't realize that we "got it" the first time and already formed an impression of them - a negative one. The biggest problem however for Monaco is that Albert cannot and will not face the fact that he made a colossal mistake in marrying Charlene. Albert cannot and will not face the fact that he wasted over $75 million dollars on this woman. Thus, Albert will continue to show everyone that he didn't make a bad decision. Thus, Albert will continue to make a fool of himself and Monaco. Albert will rue the day that he boldly proclaim that marrying Charlene was the best decision that he ever made. Just making such a comment at his wedding is an obvious sign that he was questioning his decision - but Albert being the idiot that he is decided that if he praised the greatness of his decision publicly then it must be true. This I know for sure, karma has always met up with Charlene and Albert and eventually Charlene will be publicly exposed for all the things that she and her team of flunkies have done and said all over the Internet. Albert and Monaco will be the laughing stock of the world when people really see what a vile, vulgar, vicious and vindictive person that Albert married and imposed on Monaco. The CBS interview was a glimpse of the Charlenification of Monaco. Albert is too stupid to realize that because Charlene threw a hissy fit and sulked and now we have the Piers Morgan interview. Seriously, Albert will face horrible consequences for his choice in the Charlenification of Monaco.

Also he doesn't have much to say, so he makes short answers longer then they need to be and thus misses the point. They are also not getting that no one pays attention to a flood of interviews. They should have known from their marriage interviews. Kate and Will gave one. Everyone saw it and it was good. Trashy and Albert and trashy on her own gave plenty an none of them was good. these idiots think that they get a second chance to make a first impression. They failed their official wedding kiss and then every other they followed it up with. It's like rubbing it in rather then making it go away. They are also not getting that nothing they will ever say will be making their actions go away. And frankly I am getting the impression that Albert is starting to get tired of it. Trashy may think that she has time on her side, but I wouldn't bet on it. My guess is that the CNN interview will not get as much attention as the CBS one. Unless it'sworse of course....

Once again, my prediction for the "epic interview" ; To show how predictable outcome of this interview is....; -Piers will start with introducing them as an Olympian "royal" couple -call them modern and contemporary couple -every time he mention WC he will say how simple and charming she is -struck their ego about there Olympic "accomplishments" -talk about similarities between WC and P. Grace -give them chance to explain run-away bride story -and of course talk about their endless charity work

I can't imagine multiplying the fallout of the CBS interview by a CNN audience. What are they thinking?! They should honestly consider cultivating mystery. I think people's imaginations would be better than the reality they try so hard to project. People can smell BS.

Fatbert & Trashy should forgo any interviews for their own sake. The recent interview was the worst one they ever had. I have impression somebody who advises them really hates them & gives them the worst advises; probably the same person/people who told Albert that WC would make tourists flocking to Monaco.

I don´t think it will be a disaster. Piers Morgan does not strike me as someone who wants to make ridicule of important people or show their faux pas. On the contrary, he will be a brown nose. And he´s quite an idiot. One of his tweets on the ceremony was "so proud, we sould be an empire again". Morgan: millions of people are ok in their republics, and honestly, these are not times of expandings one´s territories with crimes and massacres as it used to be centuroies ago. what a dumb! I don´t expect much!

piers Morgan is the British equivalent to the Belgium guy who keeps sucking up to them via French TV. I agree with maxima, piers is a dim wit and an opportunist. He likes to be a celebrity though and I think that will eventually be his downfall. He is pretty full of himself and his creepyness jumps right out of the pic he tweeted of himself and the trashies. Piers didn't get where he is due to his excellence, he got where he is due to Simon Cowell. He was cast to balance Simon out and gained notority that way. He was chosen by CNN because he is not considered offensive by those he is supposed to interview. He is not there to find out sth new about the people he interviews, he allows them to display how they wantto be perceived. Unfortunately in our day and age people rarely go to journalists who are respected, because they can get you in trouble with their questions. And there not many journalists able to do that anymore. Most of those who interview politicians or celebrities don't ask tough questions. The PR people have so controlled the questioning for such a long time, that journalists have unlearned it. If you watch an interview these days, you have to take it for what it is: PR. you will not know anything more after, then you knew before. CBS was lucky that trashy and fatty are so incapable that they revealed themselves without being ask any tough questions. a normal person wouldn't have fallen so easily. At present I have not seen anything announced about any interview of them yet. It is about plenty other things. I also suspect that instead of filling 2 shows, like he did with Romney, I think theirs will be at best a 1à minute to 15 minute bit. I suppse their will be quite a bit about Albert and the Olympics. A little about trashy and swimming, her bit about the foundation and then a tiny standard bit about how unfair the press was and how happy they are....

it wasn't on last night maybe there wasn't enough intelligent parts to make a whole segment. he may be a brown nose, but he's not stupid. the non dynamic duo has NO CHARM or following, why would he waste any time on his show for them, it won't garner viewers or bring him any glory. NO ONE know who they are and after they get to know them, they WON'T care who they are.....it's a lose lose situation.

Wasn't Piers Morgan involved in the hacking scandal for Rupert Murdoch when he was one of his paper editors?

They just aren't newsworthy during the Olympics. The current athletes and their families are the news. Speaking of which, Zara Phillips rode brilliantly helping her team to a team silver and today at one point was in bronze medal position for the individual eventing medals. She has silenced her critics (sugars who think she was put there because of her Grandmother). Zara has shown what a serious athlete she is and she now has a silver medal to prove it. Why would Piers use the Albert and Charlene's interview? JMO.
