I personally think Stephanie in light of all the exceptionalism expended to the newer generation that, if her inheritance was really withheld from her, she should legally have all her rights restored as a full-fledged princess equal to Caroline and Albert. I mean it. It's a gross mistake Rainier made in scapegoating her for her choices, at this point. She should be vindicated. She deserves it. Her mother would agree that it's not fair and has become moot by now.

It's amazing that the test results show that they didn't have tuberculosis and that they would have been euthanized unnecessarily. It's poetic when you consider that elephants go to sanctuaries to die, in the wild, that she gave them sanctuary to avoid dying. Good for her.

I love how she fusses over her daughter's scarf in the Paris Match slideshow: AIDS Memorial pics

She looks like Caroline, with the red lipstick and the chin up. She does have her own internal poise and grace. She's one to watch.

thats what I have said before. Her posture is a lot more like Caro than Charlotte is like her mom. I think as she gets older and with a different haircut she could outshine the other females easily. I think Alex my end up surprising us too...

Hmmm... You forgot to plug your children's artistic talents, Pax. On the other hand, the purpose of buying the painting was charity...? It probably deserved more, just for the spirit of giving.

LOL I'm afraid my kids are aiming to trump Rosa Bonheur rather than becoming third rate Warhols. Sure it's charity, but considering that you get a canvas that size for less than 50 Euro, I suppose 21000 is quite in the spirit of giving, considering you have to get the material to overpaint the pic and then get someone to really paint a nice pic on the canvas.... honestly they should stop flogging Grace, even for charity, move on and make sth new. Having some wannabe artist project your moms photo on canvas and then colour it and sell it for charity is not honouring your moms memory, it's dishonouring her. I'm sure the pic was a donation of whoever painted it, trying to suck up and at the same time getting a good price in the auction so he/she can in the future reference it when selling regular pics. So really it is not a donation but an investment. Plus he/she will be called upon and invited in the future and thus receive clients that wouldn't have known about them nor cared about them to begin with.

Or - instead you take a digital pic of Grace, put it through the Warhol filter and pop a giclée. It's less expensive. But it's the memory... of the evening, of the cause, of your magnanimity that makes it special. One mustn't take everything down. By the way, I don't see Sharon Stone attending memorials for casualties of AIDS. Good job, Stephanie. A portrait of Grace is still more tasteful than Benetton showing a Christ-like AIDs victim on his death bed in the 80s. Call me old-fashioned! But it would be nice to see a portrait of Stephanie, or some great people that died of AIDS. Didn't Karl Lagerfeld's great love die from it? Heck, he should donate something for auction if that's the case. Let's have it. Or better yet, portraits of people LIVING with the virus, like Magic Johnson. I could go on but it's not my turf.

She did put a photograph of herself only wearing an aids ribbon on her bed a few years back. IMO since it is her foundation, it would be prefarable to have her pics or those of other VIPs supporting the cause. Anyways my point is mostly that crappy wannabe artists are using this as a platform to promote themselves and not to support the cause. A nice work of art as a donation would be a nice gesture. But I have a dislike for that self promoting, self serving and sucking up attitude that is IMO displayed here. Guess I lived there for too long to look at these things without being reminded of how MC and those wannabes work...

i just had a funny thought about Princess Stephanie, lover of elephants and corinna, the new beast, being in the same room. let's see if it happens. i am sure Stephanie could have some choice words for her. check out: beforeitsnews.com/international/2013/03/corinna-the-rasputin-of-spain-and-spanokleptocrats-2453716.htmlexcerpt: "Spaniards heard about Corinna for the first time when Juan Carlos broke his hip in Botswana. After telling Spaniards how thinking about youth unemployment was depriving him of his sleep, the honorary president of the Spanish arm of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), decided to go elephant hunting! Spaniards were outraged. Corinna organized the hunting trip, as everything else the king does."

honestly I think they volunteered to have them, they also wanted the press as do gooders and they have the money to pay the bills. No need IMO for anyone else to pay. It's not like it would make a difference to their care, only to the amount that gets taken out of their pockets. Sorry, I think people are better advised to pay where it will make the difference of life and death...

so her stepson got sentenced to prison. 15 days is honestly laughable for what he did and he will be serving it in MC, so it'll be easy. ONly longer sentences are served in France so I guess they made sure that he only got some punishment that prevented him from serving time in a real prison. I believe Marseille would have been the one for him then. Anyways he will have to review his career plans as he won't be able to join the carabinieri now. I don't think that this will be his last time in trouble. His dad had recurrent trouble and only his connection to Steph and her kids has protected him. Apparently that doesn't apply to halfbrothers... www.bunte.de/monaco/pauline-ducruet-halbbruder-muss-ins-gefaengnis-68601.html
