PA told Monaco Matin that the babies will be born around Christmas but that it could also happen a week or ten days earlier. So that means IMO that they'll be born between December 14 and 24. Despite the 42 cannon shots I don't think it will be two girls. When you think of it IMO unintentionally they could already have given away the gender of the babies by stating: "Pour saluer l’heureuse nouvelle de la venue au monde de ces deux enfants sans distinction, quarante-deux coups de canons (vingt et un pour chaque enfant)". So what do they mean with distinction?! If it's two boys or two girls there's no distinction. So it must be a boy and a girl. (As I said in the beginning of the pregnancy this way they'll have an heir and a princess in one go. I'm sure they also want a princess to get the glamor back. If it's two boys IMO they'll go for another girl if it's two girls they'll want another boy. With a boy and a girl they won't have any more kids IMO.) Or they really don't know it but this is quite unlikely as PA has already told MM that CC knows it and that he doesn't want her to tell him (if this is even true). The only logical explanation would be that it's two boys and they want to keep the number down. Although there could simply be 101 shots and the babies would share them so to speak. Well, I don't know I'm just bored today. We'll see... According to MM the day off will take place a couple of days after the birth so there'll be plenty of time to organize the party and to spread the info to everybody: Autre certitude, celle d’une présentation des nouveau-nés, sur la place du Palais princier, quelques jours après la naissance. Une grande fête à laquelle le Palais princier a fait savoir que seront conviés "les Monégasques, les résidents et les salariés de la Principauté, ainsi que toutes les personnes le souhaitant, afin de rendre hommage au couple princier et à ses enfants." BTW they have to make sure that as many people as possible will come to the palace when the babies will be presented at the balcony. I mean you can't expect people jumping on the balcony and presenting the babies shortly after the birth. Although with CC you never know... I'm sure they'll publish pics of the twins and the parents (probably kissing each other... maybe even on the balcony... yikes!) on the Palace website or on Facebook on the day of the presentation.

She looks like a wicked witch in that pic. Ugh. 21 and 21...maybe it's two girls? There goes the "i don't know the sex of the babies" thing, lol.

I think by without distinction they mean that it has not been determined, which one of them will be the heir. They might decide to modernize the rules. They did that for Victoria, which made briefly Carl Philip the heir before her. Maybe they want to allow them to grow up as equals and then take the decision later. Not too smart though as that might cause a lot of friction along the lines....

I thought having read that he will choose at the moment they are born. I remember it because it sounded arrogant. his last interview? or the week befor ND when they asked the people's opinion about the twins (BTW I have not read any opinion in the newspaper on ND).
I can say that they do not learn it... With this communication you just get bad gossip. Instead of just waiting for the day of the birth. Then let the guns pop -people begin to count- after 10 seconds you've lost count ;-) and you can gossip.... wait an hour for fun and give al the info to the press and five minutes later, the whole world knows it. But now by the time they are born, everyone is already tired. Exactly the same with the fake marriage...
anyway if they wait until they are 18 - there is a chance that one of them dies and the other is in jail... ;-)

That's the difference between the Windsor PR and the Grimaldi PR, you noticed how excited people were with George.

Will the name of the babies be known the day they are born or when they are baptised? I don't know how they did with the previous princely births.

I don't know how they did with the previous princely births. in MC you have to give the name to the nurse before you are actually giving birth. Especially with twins they will ask how to name the first and the second. They might make an exception for them, but that is how it is usually done in order to not get them mixed up. They will immediately put a wristband on each with its name on.

well, I gave birth there, so unless they have changed procedures, that's how its done. You also have to register the birth within 3 days at cityhall and bring a witness... I suppose they'll be doing that from home... Brangelina actualy received a visit from the mayor in Nice, whilst everyone else has to do it in person. MC procedure is the same as in France.... also the birth has to be registered in the town the child was born in, not where you are residing. Quite a few French people in the area chose MC over Nice just for the birthplace and of course the letter from the palace...

Sugardish and cotilleando have the cover of point de vue in which Al and Trash appeared with a third one, the photoshop. Good God they have been photoshopped to an extreme! Albert doesn't even look like him. There's something wrong with his head. As if it was cut and put into someone else's body. The photo was taken on national day. I guess bunte is referring to that interview.

Here comes the interview! Notice how Princess Cash in now absolutely cares for her new country and what nice values she will teach her children...
A few days before the birth of her twins, Princess Charlene speaks about her joys, and her projects. And mentioned for the first time her role as a future mother.
As the birth approaches the couple's happiness is there, visible for all to see. Eight months pregnant, the princess' program are "light", as today, on this National Day. - "I want to make it home early to make sure everything is well", says Albert II, in the morning, in an interview with daily Monaco Matin.
From the living room windows, Charlene appears to attend the military parade held on the Palace Square, she then joined the guests for the great luncheon in the Throne Room.
The Head of State of Monaco confirms that the birth of twins is planned "around Christmas. "But, as is often the case of a multiple pregnancy, he added, it can certainly take place earlier.
On 19 November, the princess appears happy, confident, especially blossomed. And speaks with Gala.
Gala: Your Highness, how would you describe the ties that bind you today to Monaco and the Principality?
Charlene: These are very closely connected. I like to meet Monegasques and residents of the principality. I often talk with them spontaneously. I have my habits in some shops. I still listen to them. These contacts are essential for me. The principality is a fantastic country, which has many strengths and I invite you all to discover.
Gala: Since your wedding with Prince Albert II, you have greatly developed your action, both nationally and internationally. What do you enjoy working as Monaco Princess?
Charlene: I like to feel useful. I appreciate the experiences that my title of princess gives me and I wish to help those in need - thanks to the actions of my foundation and various associations to which I support.
Gala: By giving your Foundation's mission to fight against all the causes of drowning worldwide, you highlighted a global problem that the general public was hardly aware off. Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation will soon celebrate the second anniversary of its creation. What is your assessment of his action?
Charlene: I am particularly pleased with the work done by my teams. At the end of the year we will have sensitized and thought over 40 000 children worldwide. My Foundation operates in fifteen countries with the organizing programs "Water Safety - "Prevent Drowning" and "Learn to Swim". Closer to home, the Aquatic Rescue Centre of Monaco opened it a few days ago. Its mission is to provide students with in grade five of the Principality water rescue courses. Courses are also available to a wider public.
Gala: You are preparing yourself to become a mother for the first time. You have often paid tribute to your mother. What does it rest for you a model?
Charlene: My mother has always been there for my brothers and me. Very athletic, she made me discover and enjoy swimming. It is an admirable woman who instilled us great values.
Gala: Among the values and lessons that your parents have instilled, which ones you want, in your turn, be able to pass on to your children?
Charlene: The work, courage, sense of duty, friendship, honesty, humility ... All these fundamental values so that they can build upon.
Gala: Of all the memories you have kept your childhood, what are dearest to you?
Charlene: I have very happy memories of my childhood. I've always done a lot of sports. I was full of life, very dynamic like all young kids my age.
Gala: The couple, you and Prince Albert II, lives and works in a spirit of support, love and sharing. How do your qualities and your respective course they will make you more parents to your children?
Charlene: We will guide them so they know to meet their future responsibilities, respect their neighbors, be attentive to others, open to the world.
Gala: How the sovereign and yourself, how are you approaching the birth of your children?
Charlene: Calmly. We are very pleased with the idea of being parents.

yup pretty small bump, especially when you compare the size with the UN one. They haven't grown apparently... since she has been operated to look like her own mom and she looks old anyways, I suppose those who never met either in person will have no problems mistaking one for the other. so since her mom is at the birth according to dad, no problems to switch on for the other... btw why do they like to have her do the Nazi salute?
