He did seem kinda nervous. Looks like she still has her natural teeth. Let's see how long that lasts.. On one hand I'll give her credit for not running to the dentist for cosmetic surgery on her teeth -- unlike Trampy. However, she doesn't have a nice smile. Frankly, she doesn't look like her mother nor either of her sisters -- all of whom have perfect brilliant smiles.

But her mother looked really vulgar with her unkempt hair. Personally, I think the fumbling of the ring is probably an omen of things to come. He was way too emotional too, which can only mean he's not quite in control of this. As cute as they were, I have misgivings about the future there.

Daniel was emotional too, shed a tear, but CP was just very weird, agree.

In my view, royal men / a prince can not get royal women anymore because the royal woman have become smarter :-)

Good point, except they won't stay royal if they can't nab a wayward male aristocrat. Pity. Maybe royals should legalize same sex marriage. Hmmm In my view, royal men / a prince can not get royal women anymore because the royal woman have become smarter :-)

Why is Sofia or anybody supposed to have a perfect smile?! Sure when you are in the public eye you are supposed to look presentable but Sofia isn't unkempt. IMO she is at least natural and hasn't changed only for the wedding just like CC. CC did everything just to look like a princess is supposed to look like in her opinion. First came a makeover of the boobs, then nose, teeth, hair, skin and God knows what she thought that would be enough to be a princess. With Carl Philip and Sofia nobody is denying their love in contrast to the fake couple of Monaco.

IMO noble men/women simply know what they are getting into that's why they don't marry princesses/princes anymore. I mean they are rich, have a title by birth, live in or know palaces etc., have tiara's, jewelry etc., mostly have a university degree and IMO want to be free. As a Prince/Princess/Queen you aren't free anymore. You are in the limelight for the rest of your life, have to do what others want you to do and even if your wife/husband is cheating on you you have difficulties divorcing because you'll lose your kids. They have hardly something to gain but a lot to lose. This was different in the past: even noble men/women couldn't do anything else but marrying so they tried to marry the richest woman/man possible just to have a comfortable life. IMO today they mostly marry rich commoners so they have a comfortable and private life and if the marriage doesn't work out they can easily divorce, keep the kids and get a huge pay-off. With commoners it's completely different. Most men/women marrying into royalty are IMO attracted to money, title, palaces, jewelry etc. and are still believing in fairy tales. For them palaces and royal life in general is interesting and fascinating from the outside. They have no idea what's expected of them, how much their lives will be controlled by the palace and how hard it is to be in the limelight all the time. They only realize all of this when it's too late.

I'm not sure that every royal court is that dramatic or draconian. I could be wrong. Just look at the tasteful ones like Belgium, Luxembourg etc. IMO noble men/women simply know what they are getting into that's why they don't marry princesses/princes anymore. She reminds me of the girls in Abba. Only obsessed North Americans expect perfect rows of pearly whites probably because most are descended from British, Irish or Scottish who are notorious for not giving a sh*t about oral hygiene and for depleting the enamel of their teeth with a far too liberal use of alcohol. It's genetic whitewashing to expect everyone to head to the oral surgeon. Personally, when all you see in a person's face is the dentition, I think of dinosaurs... Why is Sofia or anybody supposed to have a perfect smile?! Sure when you are in the public eye you are supposed to look presentable but Sofia isn't unkempt. Btw there is a docu about German female aristos who look for male aristos, because if they marry a non-aristo, they lose their status in the higher circle, unlike the men when they marry non-aristos. Maybe I find it again. You mean "Standesgemäß" by Julia von Heinz, don't you?!

I'm not sure that every royal court is that dramatic or draconian. I could be wrong. Just look at the tasteful ones like Belgium, Luxembourg etc. Maybe it also depends on how the press reacts to you. I mean e.g. Paola of Belgium was the Diana of the 60s, she was haunted by the press. Being a very shy person she hated it and she hated to be Queen. Luxembourg and Lichtenstein and minor royals are maybe different but when you marry a top royal IMO your life is everything else but a fairy tale.

If you marry into the British RF and your spouse is a senior royal, then it's game over with own career and privacy. The Dutch RF for example is much more liberal here, plus the press follows rules set by the DRF. If you are smart marry into the DRF not the BRF.
