(Sorry Tops, it's just for fun) Leaks more leaks! Wiki leaks, agencies leak but the ship isn't sinking and rats aren't bailing, ergo a new thread for freshness' sake. Trump's taxes reveal the Wealthy People Tax (AMT) he wants abolished is the one where he owes the government he now leads. Balls the size of Texas. Come on. The guy was a casino owner. In US history, has there ever been a fully honest one!? www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39275838

There's so much I want to say about what's going on ~ the Intel Committee end game, Kushner and the Russian bank, Ivanka's all access pass to classified information etc ~ it's such a bad dog and pony show to watch people fumble while husband and wife pass stuff out of the WH unhindered. I'm not sure the US's worst enemies aren't cringing themselves at the blatant ransacking of the seat of a superpower and average Americans are in such a state of disbelief that they won't wake up on time. The mob rules. Word to my bestie, it's not too late...

Its Easter. Anyone not even into odds would say that it's not propitious to winning a war. A logical person would stress the metaphor of actions yielding different than expected results. When a North Korean diplomat says it best : "no one wins", you know we've entered a parallel reality. And the betting man who sees that though we won WW2, we struggled badly in Vietnam and the US is not quite done in Irak. So. Does launching a war make any sense? (I'm skipping the part where I think deep down they're scripted beforehand but still unpredictable). The US aboutfaced on Russia after Russia did all the heavy lifting in Europe in WW2. Do we really think China is going to do what Trump wants? It already issued a warning to NK to cool it, but in the final analysis...?
Once upon a time a woman gave birth to a special, gifted human being. He had a destiny. But on this anniversary, no one ever thinks about the woman whose own people betrayed, by framing her son on a technicality and using foreigners to hang him on the premise of their "exceptionality" (nice way of not getting your hands dirty when you have no grounds to kill a man). Nobody thinks about that mother who had to share her son with the world, and watch him sacrifice himself for the greater good almost needlessly until humanity could understand the gesture - though on this, the 10 000 South Koreans first Christian martyrs know a thing about - and everybody remembers the gory sensationalistic side because primitive people always need a grand display to pause. On that, North Koreans certainly take the cake in pageantry. Nobody ever thinks about how that woman might have liked her son to grow old instead. I'm not looking to make a point. Other than its all up to God, in more ways than one, good and bad. This is that parallel reality speaking, the one at the diametrically opposed dimension to the one where our history began. Are we going to willfully go out with a big bang? It would be nice if someone asked us first. I have a feeling most would want to sit out nuclear Armageddon.

http://instagram.com/p/BQWJoqFDVjI Trump is upset Wall Street gave $400 000 to Obama for a speaking fee... Obama was paid by the word and none of them were "tremendous". To Trump's credit, he probably copyrighted that word and it's ca-tching each time. Now about our lumber and dairy industries, thanks for provoking Canada's limits on the US-imported combustible dairy powder used in coffee creamer (see Dr Oz's show last week and his show and tell on how that stuff can be used in flame throwers....). Besides, only the Saputos - who squeezed out the 100 000 dairy producers until only 10 000 millionaire producers remained in Canada - had to complain about that and Trump had to know they'd go over there to blow his Trumpette soon to work that out. Thanks for the reprieve though. As per lumber, we know Jared went to the Canadian West to fix it a few months ago so only Quebec, who's under economic siege - would be penalized when the US goes back to buying our excellent construction lumber. Because the Canadian West has that pipeline Trump approved. I can't wait for more advisers to be found doing un-American things with Russia so that the US public decides there's just too much BS wi this administration while there's still plenty of uncontroversial political talent in the US being wasted in the meantime...

100 days to show his hand. It's clear Trump is holding China's coveted Arctic drilling rights as a carrot to get them to "oh behave" vis-a-vis Korea. It didn't take long to show what all that schmoozing up to Putin and Trudeau, the fasttracking of the fracking pipeline, deregulation of prime federal lands (there's a reserve underground that straddles our border) was for. It's good to be energy-efficient but global waste is not so good when we're still pumping the Earth. I guess Trump is not that confident in his deal making skills after all, if he has to ruin the soil like some addict trying to extract the last bits or rats that furrow in the ground. Meanwhile, average Americans are to lower their expectations via jobs and their health, while an archaic solution like building walls in the 21st century is not thought of as being third-world mentality (dude, get a satellite to police your border....just saying) I feel bad for Americans, I do.

Pity about James... Come on Yankees. Look at the membership at the Maralago and find your Moscow connection. Here's a hint: it's part-time Canadian, never goes to jail, is fond of Florida, passes through the border even when he's confined to Canada after being expelled from Europe. He steals, he cheats, he's friends with Mulroney, Chirac and derails politics. He's the flip side of finance, the Scumdog Billionaire etc etc You can do it, guys. Your BS meter is ringing. Meanwhile, the pope should develop a cold later this month. Just saying. And this US administration should be...embargoed

Fraudulent use of presidential office, breach of public trust..... just brainstorming. I guess they like wasting taxpayer money on useless commissions there too. Meanwhile, European leaders are being manhandled, insulted and berated by a guy who didn't honour his financial commitments at least four times when he went bankrupt. That's rich.

Judging by the Wellesley speech, Hillary is tapping her delayed outrage and finding her stride. Democrats, Republicans.... a two-party system is always too basic. Meanwhile, Macron made me smile when he gave Trump that pauvre con tap on the forearm to release the maniacal grip. I can't imagine the IQ level of the exchange went up during his bromance moment though. Now Jared's Russia channel smells of Israel's way of bypassing Iran to make a deal with Russia. They are already screwing with Syria IMO. Given that all Internet traffic is shored up by an Israeli firm, they just wanted to piggyback on Russia's internal channel to avoid detection and cloud optics so they can always distance themselves from their actions. Speaking of perverted ideologies, cannibalistic capitalism is not an alternative on one hand and secondly, all good American Christians are being worked over to be struck at their core, however conditioned as they are, they will naturally turn the other cheek and shift the blame. So nice of Trump to kick a guy when he's dealing with an aftershock attack in his city, although good comeback on the part of Mr Khan. The problem with terrorism must be dealt with, and not with hyperbole, scapegoating and shifting blame nor with ignoring it either. It was such a rife weekend in the news, and though today marks the anniversary of the Israeli war, I'm going to still comment on the interesting fact that came out on CNN by a Trump supporter : the extreme right-wing Breitbart news blog is penned by senior Jewish writers. And the Trump supporter to add: "are you going to accuse them of being racists"!? AH! How many Africans recently were able to gain Israeli citizenship? Or were they not bussed out? It's important to note who exactly does the stoking sometimes... In other news, first comedian Kathy Griffin then TV host Bill Maher put their feet in their mouths - decidedly not their finest hours. And the planet keeps turning. Obama is in Montreal at the Chamber of Commerce. The coyotes will wear their lambskin for the occasion and pat themselves on the back. Ethnic cleansing anyone?

If yesterday was any proof that America has been highjacked at a meta level, I don't know what else. We saw a master indeed...of Dodgy. It's a sad day and I hope parties will rally as they once did over the Lecompton Constitution and just say no. What's the worst thing that can happen if they just fire Trump? For ineptitude alone? That he'll sue the government? Get some pride back, people. They're only going to show you that what you get up for in the morning, and the principles you believe, in are lies. Rise America, and be all you can be. Kings let you go because you wanted freedom. They respected that. But seeing the US this way is just heartbreaking.

I'm reminded of a sermon by the brilliant young bishop Tom Dowd when he said the problem with empty churches was the absence of sinners in our society. The utmost basic principle of any good Christian is the admission of personal flaws next to God. It establishes the rightful order of things. Bible-thumping by those who have done nothing but infuse the public discourse with hate, with incitements to violence even against fellow candidates whose reputations they have ruined by mere inference of wrongdoing using outside agitators....is so moot. A mea culpa would be refreshing. Anyway, it's not cyberwarfare that needs investigating, it's the floodgates Trump has been opening for his accomplices by deregulating financial and real estate markets. You're following the wrong herring. However, by now the FBI, every unionized American worker as well as every Senator knows of the possible link to Sy Jacobson. How's that, Hillary, for turning someone toxic? At least, there's meat to this story. PS: Sorry. I left out Hollywood in the list of apprised individuals. .

This is less funny after yesterday's violence in the South. It's a strange correlation that the US slavery past ~ the topic of Cold War counterpropaganda by Russia ~ is brought up at a time of antagonism also in Korea. Emancipation was delayed in many places due to economics, largely to finance wars. Let that serve as a lesson to the future to not be so subjugated to war-faring, arms races, nuclear proliferation etc. If "Communism" wants dominance so much over capitalism, it should avoid war and let its natural cycles run it to the ground. Capitalism needs wars to free up monopolies and breathe new life into it. Here's a shortcut: develop a more pluralistic and fluid approach in government. It makes for more tolerance. . . . A quick footnote to the "Alt-Right" issue in Charlottesville. While everyone is looking South, a false rumour in the US has sent over 7500 Haitian disaster refugees north since June alone, so in essence, Trump can make as many verbal concessions as are asked of him, he's still expelling Blacks: Unethical "cleansing"(More)When heroes want nothing to do with Trump{I empathize with Mrs Heyer on her loss, after losing my own American hero this week - my dear cousin Madeleine. May they rest in peace. 💔 }

There is such an uncanny resemblance between this presidency and the presidency of Ulysses Grant 140 years ago. Aides quitting or charged, radical Republicans (small cap) though no similarities with the men otherwise. Is it me or is Trump phoning it in these days? His Secretary of Treasury is getting more attention, it seems. Not that anyone in Monaco would notice anything wrong, but his wife is causing a stir showboating "Adorbs"Meanwhile, Hillary toyed with using the term "creep" to describe her stage stalker Hillary, it's time to start a centrist alliance and try that assault on monopsony thing to try to redress the course. Lots of work.

Another storm is brewing and I don't mean Irma... Firstly, China as midwife to Korea from dynastic rule to republic is not likely to help America, even if it means losing trade dollars. The Communist mindset is so different, very tough and not subservient like other countries. The moral high ground and the race to nuclear dominance... I was listening to CNN and someone was saying about the US that they have the moral high ground in this. It's exactly that kind of blind spot that only stokes the nations with longer memories than the new generations of Americans who are self-congratulatory of their fathers' WW2 exploits. But have they noticed how they can't finish wars anymore? That means the military-industrial complex is always working. North Korean technology has either been allowed to be developed out of morbid curiosity about what the next military weapons will look like, so other nations then can fight them for it - the technology - and don't care who's caught in the crossfire. Or, there's an irrational suicidal factor at play... right... Why were Canadian nuclear reactors making their way to Pakistan for parts a decade or two ago? Because there's an ongoing race and it's not because international laws and public opinions keep interfering that those involved and invested won't keep developing weapons and pushing the envelope. It's just geography; what they can't do in one place at a given time because it's not "bon ton", they'll go do elsewhere to do it in the shade. Then they'll let those with modest destinies fight it out, until they can herd the narrative into the next big showdown. This perfect storm is cast with leaders that will be dismissible as either crazy or inexperienced to start the apologist discourse of future history books. I think someone needs to flag Trump's Twiiter account, Kelly has to lock him up in a box while somebody at the other end finds the North Korean leader something else to do. Like have a baby, so he's occupied with being creative rather than destructive. Just a silly woman's thought. Neverhteless: That "perfect" storm. . . "Smiling Buddha"And a bonus article on never ending wars: Go CounterPunch! Never knew you but wow...
