I'm putting this here. Kudos to KC for his donations to food banks 👏🏼👏🏼. Ultimately the video though, with its images of QE2, made me nostalgic for her. 🙁
And although Catherine has style, I'm really over the stilettos.

KC having his Trump moment, of not being able to attract talent to his festivities. There's always the Village People...?

I miss QE2. I do. Having prefaced this, here's a plan to "modernize" or slim down the monarchy: www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/king-charles-plan-slimmed-down-monarchy-frogmore-cottage-harry-meghan-b1069700.htmlAside from the obvious parallel between son and father rattling their loved ones, I think his is a plan that will more directly end the monarchy. One wonders: have they been put on notice by their backers? Considering he's supposed to be the richest king, why undermine his siblings? Is this some latent show he's the boss in that family, because it's some kind of almost petulance it seems, at wanting to convince others he's the patriarch who decides their fate rather than face the world and reality. Should they rely less on taxes? Certainly. We've seen how royals have touted industries that no doubt they benefit from, so in essence they do have jobs with the weapon making industry, banking, among others. Just come out with it. We've seen Andrew on trade. We saw his friends. If he wants to be firm about titles, he should reign in his tabloid-fodder junior family that obscures the good everyone else - Anne, Edward, Sophie, the Phillips, Lady Louise as well as William and Catherine - does. No one should have to worry about job security, tbh. You can't have a monopoly on royalty at the expense of those who most directly support you. It's self-sabotage, because they're your line of defense against the "interest group(s)" keeping you there. In that ecosystem, there should also be more blue blood than less, in order to keep making sense. . . . * What's more, we still need them also because there are old treaties with the Crown that some of us would like to see honoured, not to forget my brethren. But there's room for la différence and for everyone in however which way they want to be constituted. (Except the Balfour Declaration which is, like the others, malinterpreted and/or malimplemented. Back to drawing board there.)

There's nothing wrong with postponing. The month of May is riddled as it is with holidays, and the current tone is overrun by the Sussex drama, and a laundry list of emotive distractions from the core purpose. Then you have the really offputting telegraphing back the Sussex immaturity with dress codes and Andrew appearances. SMH.
