Can we have a Monaco History thread? Sure Refia, Anyone can start a thread in any board. But, do you mean a board? I'll make a board for historical information of the Monaco Princely Family. These four larger sections are called categories and the sections under each of them are called boards. Of course, then there are many threads in each boards. any poster can start a thread. I just loved the little chick in the photos from the other day. Any chance we could find one to adopt for our forum? Anyone could use the little chick as an avatar. If you find me a photo of it anywhere, I'll host it on my tinypic acount so you can use it as an avatar. Eventually, I will host some additional smileys, upload some royal related avatars and add country flags, but it takes time to do this. You have to first find all the photos, second host the photos on a photo account like tinypic or photobucket and then place them into programming codes on the forum. I'll eventually get to it. Also, I am going to re-design the board from this default format. I'm still looking and learning about different skins and logo designs. We only have two weeks of no ads (then you have to pay to keep them gone). I was going to see where the ads go and then redesign the board. There are a lot of things that I want to do, but it will just take time. Mya |

I would like a "show unread posts" but I suppose that it is not an easy request.
Ads can be not seen with ad block if anyone is interested.

I actually found someone's code for "show unread posts" and I installed it, but I removed it. That particular code was written so that EACH INDIVIDUAL unread posts are place in one thread ordered by date of each individual post and not separated by threads. I'm still looking for another code. |

I installed coding to increase coding the maximum avatar siz to double ProBoard's default size, but it seems that the code is not working. I will remove it until i can find (don't have the time to learn to write this particular coding now) a better program. |

I made the board visible, but only accessible to registered members. Right now, the Members Only Forum category is empty. I wonder if it will make a difference if there are actually boards inside the category. |

Well, try it out and you will see if people are still coming as guests or register without posting. ANy policy on members who do not post at all?

ANy policy on members who do not post at all? I would really prefer that people who register will participate in some capacity on the board, even if it is just an introduction. Unfortunately, we have a lot of people who have registered who have not made one post - currently 30% of our members have ZERO posts. I'm sure some of these lurkers only registered so that they can view the board better. I inserted coding that disallows visitors from seeing posters name/information and doing searches (only the admin name shows up next to her posts). WE also have some very regular lurkers who read our board on a daily basis more than many members. I don't know why they don't register, I actually know more information about visitors than registered members. I might put non-posting members in a separate category. |

WOW WE have today 345 guests opposite to 250 last week. A lot of insider information fishers.... Today i note we have been very popular. The rate is 27 Members, 1,090 Guests, 15 Invisible Users. Amount of guests increased 300%. WOW |
