Elektra -- great points. I think their reaction to these boards is a true commentary on the state of paranoia the palace and it's flunkies live in. Don't they realize [rhetorical question] their actions with trolls or threats only makes them come across as having something to hide! If not, why worry about a bunch of numbskulls who post their opinions on the internet. Go ahead, have the wedding of the century and live happily ever after. Most well known move along and ignore. Shows their maturity and understanding of the fame game. If they're this upset BEFORE these two tie the knot just wait until she's really on the stage. There is a price to fame and it's apparent Albert & Charlene's suck ups as well as Charlene herself are utterly thin skinned.

One was slightly noticable, something like Charlene not wanting to be like Grace. According to this magazine, the Italian Corriere Della Sera has recently published an article exposing Grace. Talking about her exes, her not so clean past and that she wasn't the angel people think she was. So now clean and blemish free Charlene cringes at every comparison with Grace Kelly since that means that they insinuate that she isn't a lily white virgin either.
[/quote]
Grace wasn't an ICON because she was a "Lily White virginal goddess" - She became an ICON because of her beauty, style and "grace" - because she was a world class movie star who had been wined, dined and romanced on and off screen by the worlds most fascinating men - because woman all over the world wanted to be like her - copy her . No one care really if she truly was pure as the morning snow. And nearly 30 years after her death, no amount of "Grace bashing" will make CW seem more "appropriate" even if Grace is proven to have been less then a "virginal goddess" when she married, or after she was married. I've said it before - Grace is done Charlene. She made her mark. She is what she is, and there's nothing you do to change that, so stop hoping, and trying to tear her down so you look better. It ain't gonna happen.

So now they are going to bash Grace in order for Charlene to cringe that she's not Grace. Ohhhh Charlene I wouldn't go there if I were you. Don't mess with a beloved Icon. Big big mistake. Talk about people turning on you in your "home country". This really is going to be her downfall. JMO

That cover gives me the creeps. It shows the beginning of a new era in Monaco: more plastic, more mafia, more hypocresy...is like she represents everything in that pic.

The original was in German, I had little time to read the thing properly and didn't want to spend any money on buying it. The original was more veiled, something about a scandalous past (thanks to whoever wrote that in another thread) or even less dramatic. The lily white virgin thingy are my words. I am properly ashamed for creating a conspiracy and misunderstanding all on my own. Sorry! BTW, I have tried to find the piece in the Corriera Della Sera, but my searches so far haven't yielded any results. Does anyone know what article the German magazine was referring to? Has anyone got the piece by chance?

I appreciate your letting us know about it. May be one of our German posters could find it and translate it for us.

Sorry , can't help out here.
Once in a blue moon there are remarks on GK and her not so virgin like life before her marriage, but more like a side remark in articles about MC in serious papers or magazins. Magazins that usually point out the discrepancy between myth and reality when it comes to MC.
And the only time I read yellow press is when I go to the hairdresser. I refuse to buy them. The online infos of those papers about WC and PA pretty much concentrate on WC's dresses and her spitting image of GK and of course their love. Bunte title "The lovebirds visit Ireland". So nothing new. They repeat the same old stuff over and over again.

The reason I used to copy the entire text and the English one is because of if the company will weep out it later and we are looking after it since it happened.

As requested, I combined the four posts in the Media & PR - Monaco style into this one since they both ended up discussing the same topic. I also moved the thread to Albert and Charlene's combined board since that was the original intent of the discussion.
Carry on opining....

The long hair looks so unusual on her. Short hair would be perfect.
