I'm putting it here because IMO this is pure PR. I am sure someone read here that I have pointed out the costs of the wedding and that other projects that would benefit the population in and around Monaco have been abandoned due to lack of money, whereas there seems to be no end of spending for this hoax of a wedding. They are now announcing that they have found a site for the hospital (well they did have one before, didn't they? SO that surely wasn't the problem). They are now claiming that they will spend 553 million on the hospital and the site was specifically chosen to preserve another project which is supposed to benefit the Monegasque. Problem is, they will start construction not before 2015 and they word specifically that between 2015 and 2025 this hospital will be constructed. Most construction have delays and already setting the start of the construction 4 years from now gives them ample time to change their minds yet again or delay the project further. In any case Monaco will most certainly not have a new hospital in the next 15 years. That is the fact that has to be retained from this PR attempt to calm the critics. We know how much can happen in a year decision wise in Monaco with Albert in command. These people are absolutely trying to buy time. And if they chose to make an announcement today, there must be some major storm going on behind the scenes. People, especially some I know in the cityhall, are not stupid. And they don't mind telling people what they know. As I said on the old forum, they were aware of the environmental damage the land extension would cause, while the government was still pushing for it. I overheard a discussion in the bus of one of the vice mayors with another Monegasques. Shortly after a specialist for the environment had an article published in Monaco Matin, the extension, which was only popular with realestate people, was cancelled for economic reasons, just weeks before they had planned to announce who of the 3 remaining contestants would get the job. I wonder if anyone of these ever sued to get some of their millions back. www.monacomatin.mc/article/derniere-minute/nouvel-hopital-a-monaco-409-lits-a-lest-du-site-actuel

Paca, it is pure PR and they are doing it because people are complaining about the cost of this wedding. Now that the Monaco media is asking about cost it is an indication that there is a lot of rumblings about it. Sucker Al is only trying to buy time and quiet his critics, but people are stupid if they just shut up.

I don't think they will. this is only the beginning. They don't even know if all the Monegasques who did sign the lists to go to the mass will eventually show up. Sure they will have their names if they don't, but you can't force them and they are probably mostly elderly so they can always say it was too hot they weren't feeling well etc. I think that the Monegasques havetheir way of making themselves understood.

So now we are down to the last few weeks. Could someone refresh my memory on exactly which TV stations around the world are going to show this circus?

So now we are down to the last few weeks. Could someone refresh my memory on exactly which TV stations around the world are going to show this circus? I don't know which ones, but in her jenny Crwys-Williams interview Charlene bragged that 170 stations have registered to broadcast their wedding. She also mentioned that they were very selective about which stations that they granted rights. There is not a fiber in my being believes that 170 TV stations around the world will be airing this trashy wedding live. They might show a few clips along with Kate Moss wedding so then can get to Kate and William tour to Canada. I have no doubt that more journalists and TV stations registered to follow William and Kate to Canada than registered to cover this wedding.

It will be a nano-second blip on an entertainment show. We knew months in advance which stations were caring William and Kate's because they were letting us know constantly. Just as I thought - Charlene is puffing up the truth again. I would think at this point they could at least give the names of the stations on the palace website but I guess that would be too logical.

So now we are down to the last few weeks. Could someone refresh my memory on exactly which TV stations around the world are going to show this circus? Hibou, Lately I have heard a few comments that might relate to Grace, to Monaco, to a royal wedding, and when I think it is relevant that Albert's marriage might get a mention it never does? Any good journalist (even not so good) does not want to be related to this obvious weird farce). It would make them look like they are stupid enough to drink the kool aid, never mind the fact that they know Albert's gold-digger marriage is not going to excite their audiences. No one is begging for more Charlene....anywhere in the world. If Albert had married a different kind of woman, I really think he could have attracted a lot more attention to his wedding, especially because people were always waiting to see him get married, I think people would have been very happy to see him finally loive, but then when he decided to marry this gold-digger dud. I think when people saw the kind of women Albert was into, and how he has behaved with Charlene, desperately flaunting his dumb as a rock "kept" golddigger girlfriend all over the world...I just think people lost respect for him, and they were a little turned of by him and the whole affair.
