Charlene has continued to repeat pieces of jewelry (in fact one "set" almost constantly to every single even out of the country) since her engagement.
I'd like to cover her current jewelry. How much it costs, where she wore it, etc. In preparation for her possibly getting jewelry from Albert.

First the 'mystery of the two rings': The first engagement ring was purchased by Albert on the spur of the moment from the palace jeweler on the evening before Albert had his assistant proposed to his girlfriend for him. This ring is very gaudy and doesn't appear to be Charlene's favorite. It was apparently a gift that he allowed he rto pick out. It started all kinds of rumors of engagements because of the type of ring and how she wore it. She went to pick it out with Albert's crew paying and with some of her friends in a big hullaboo in France/Monaco a few years ago. She wears this one "as her engagenement" ring more often than not. The seem to want to trick the rest of the world about which one is the real ring - mainly because the first one was ugly and gawdy. Albert obviously thought that's what Charlene preferred! How well they knew each other.  Would someone care to post the photos of Charlene purchasing and wearing this ring prior to the "engagement" and her rush to the jewelry store with friends to buy it?  Which one is this one? You guessed it, the 'not real engagement' ring. This is the ring Charlene insists on wearing other than the ring her fiancee sent her when his assistant proposed for him. I guess she feels the one she picked out while she was shagging him is a bit more romantic. The other one is ugly. Of course, it could just be the photoshop job in the engagement photo was so bad that the ring is unrecognizable. Time will tell. Of course, unmentioned is the infamous PR fail of the Tattler cover. Most of the jewels were borrowed. Except that the ring was supposedly "Charlene's". Either it's one of the two and was photoshopped heavily or it's a new one altogether. Now the "home made" "home crafted" cheap stuff. Other than forums, I suspect Charlene makes these in her off time since she has so much of it. Most of these are made with what is commonly called Job's Tear's Seeds. They are really cheap to get or grow (it's a grass with a seed that needs no drill and has a ready made hole). It grows in lots of shades and can be died easily or painted. More on the beads: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Job's_Tears I bought quite a sack full of them for less than 2.00 plus shipping and have planted them for use in jewelry and rosaries for friends. Maybe she's trying to say she's environmentally aware....NOT if she's wearing expensive clothes and purses. Those are not environmentally checked, dear. The first necklace with them: Rock Concert where Conlene, Blob played aging rock stars and Con kissed Al while he ignored it. While in Africa for her "triumphant" return after 4 years with a tiara and to bring a few thousand dollars (less than a day's wardrobe for her) to a few charities, she wore two sets of these home crafted necklaces. One in blue and one in white and red with red seed beads. There are closer pics of this one but I can't find them now.  The blue one was much bigger and photographed more. The sugars are desperate, you can feel it when you read such comments as "they both represented Monaco the way Grace & Rainier did, with beauty, elegance, charm, charisma" WTF? is that person a friend of Charlene, or Charlene herself??

I was told by a reliable source that the entire "engagement photo" was completely photoshopped - ring and all - and very badly I might add. And the second ring was the ring CW had her eye on all the while - they said someone got it mixed up with the one she wanted and had the other one photoshopped on her hand. It's very tacky - maybe it's the one CW was hoping for 'cause it's bigger - and PA said "no" you'll take this one! Did you read this as some kind of PR press release - or did someone in the know tell you? Just wondering. |

I read the Repossi interview, but did not know anything about CW purchasing a ring herself. I did see some photos of her in front of a jewelry store several years ago and everyone was joking about why, but never heard or saw anything about her actually buying a ring last year. And the engagement ring story is so strange, I think she must have had at least two different rings since she got engaged.
