Better not keep going off topic in other threads so I think it's a good idea that the new French President François Hollande can have its own thread with everything Hollande related, his live-in official mistress, the government, everything else, etc.

François Hollande's arrival in Germany on the red carpet after he was welcomed by Frau Merkel at Berlin airport - this was his first trip outside of France on the day he was sworn in.

It is a French tradition making the first state visit to German alike the new Finnish president used to make the first state visit in Sweden.

Since May 6, Valérie Trierweiler has become the "first lady" of France as per the usual saying. The French President is getting bad press on the debt crisis and harsh critics from his European leader counterparts. The man thinks he will revolutionize Europe and create growth by doing his own thing his own way and get into big spending rather than cut public spending.
