I think, when I reach the 90s I will be happy if my only problem was to look a bit ashen...after spending hours in bad weather standing up....

Listen you have to hand it to the old bugger, hands down. I think his mind is sharp as a whip. I could see why the both of them might want to stick around if, according to Mme C's theory, the crown and head of the Anglican church is about to pass to non-Christians.

I think for their age they are doing absolutely great. And the pic of the queen on the balcony just says it all. She seems so relaxed and really happy these days. I have seen her smile politely and laugh, but the way she uses her hands to talk these days and her facial expressions at the same time are very different to what I have seen of her over the years. Hope trashy didn't bring her any powder sugar of hers as a gift

There's my girl, with a fashion nod to Ireland by wearing the colour of my living room walls, embracing danger in the intrepid life that she leads by shaking hands with an ex-IRA who twenty or thirty years ago would have been wearing sticks of dynamite to this occasion. I'm guessing the ozone hole under which the Irish for generations were living that caused such rabidness must be closing gap. No offense. Bravo QE2! www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-18607911
