I think that the bathrobe photo was inspired by Grace Kelly's pre-princess days, when she did a lot of photo shoots for movie studios. grace bathrobe I agree that the bathrobe photo was inspired by this one with Grace. The problem is context. Grace was a Hollywood starlet/actress when her photo was taken. Charlene has been living with the prince of a Catholic country for four-five years. Photos like this emphasize that these two have a very intimate relationship and Charlene has been living in Albert's homes for years. It is a trashy photo for a future princess. I don't think Grace would have posed like this right before her wedding. Whoever decided on this pose shows that they have little regard for the Monegasques or Monaco.

Thanks for the reminder mrplowfan. I thought that it was a very odd topic for a wedding site; planning ahead for the death of the groom.

Thanks for the photos, Emmeline. Please allow me some comments: Once again, Charlene thinks it's all about her. Every time I think that Alex has gone away, he shows back up. Just a beautiful girl. Wouldn't she make some prince a beautiful princess? Isn't it great to see two people so in love? How much longer are we going to have to put up with the grinning smirk?

^ I cringe every time I see Charlene's body shape. I think Hibou labeled it 'T-bar' which fits. Charlene can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on clothes, but with her body, it is never going to look good. It is unfortunate that they couldn't be on time to the Queen's dinner, but if they had been, then everyone else entering would have had to wait 10 minutes while Charlene posed for photographs, even the Queen. You can tell that she really thought she looked good with the attitude that she is projecting in these photos.
When is she going to get a butt enhancement? That probably should have been first on her list after the boob job.

I always thought that this Foundation showed Albert getting ahead of himself. He had only been Prince a few years when it was established. It is clear that he should have been spending his time learning how to run a country. Albert is over 50 years old and he has known since birth that he would one day be the ruling Prince, but he has yet to spend the time and effort to actually run Monaco and try to make it a great place to live. And he flies around the world talking about the environment, but isn't Monaco one of the most over-built places in the world. Maybe if he stayed home and worked to make Monaco more environmentally-conscious, this would be a showcase for the world. Where I come from, he is all hat and no cattle.

This may be a hard contest to do. Charlene changes her facial features so regularly, someone could win today, but someone else would win next week. Just like the wedding, continually changing.

The problem is that Monaco is not the 'World Capital' of anything. It's just Albert having delusions of grandeur that he can be a world leader and the citizens of Monaco must pay for it. Everyday, I am more convinced that Albert needs to be committed to an asylum and the Wittstocks need to be pushed back into the gutter they crawled out of. JMHO

^ That's what I mean, refia. I'm wondering if Caroline decided to just let this play out and let Albert totally sink himself. Otherwise, she would be the bad guy who stopped the lovebirds.

I thought these photos were horrible the first time around. She looked haggard and ugly and old. I thought that this interview and photos showed too much ownership by Charlene to the palace and confirmed that she had been living there for quite some time. Just trash.

I thought that this garden was supposed to be a tribute for Charlene before the wedding. Where is Charlene? Was she too worn out to make another trip to England? (Albert does seem happier than when she is with him.)

Paca, thanks for the information.
I can see where the rumors are spreading to other members of the family as I have wondered why Caroline hasn't stepped up to stop this whole thing. Has she tried behind closed doors, but Albert ignores her? Eringer states that there is not much Caroline can do because Albert has all the authority and doesn't have to answer to anyone. Then I thought maybe she was just giving Albert enough rope to hang himself thoroughly with this over-the-top wedding, but it seems that this is so bad, that the rope is starting to encircle other family members.
Charlene probably pinches herself everyday. Who would think that not only was she able to snag this billionaire prince, become Princess of Monaco, but Albert forces the people of Monaco to pay for what has to be one of the most expensive weddings in history? I think that Albert has let his mental illness totally take over his whole mind.

I spoke to some friends at Mattel today and they ARE making a Charlene doll - It will have several features that can be changed because her face keeps morphing and she'll come with a scalpel - the basis for the doll is Mr. Potato Head. Too funny. ROFL ;D

I agree with Paca. Though it says that the concerts are courtesy of Albert and Charlene, I don't think that they are paying for them. If this wedding turns out to be half the flop that it appears to be, Albert may be unable to return to Monaco after his working honeymoon in SA. He may be greeted by citizens with pitchforks.

Charlene will not tell the routes that she runs because she does not want the press to follow her. I have wondered why we don't see photos of Charlene out and about in Monaco like we do with Caroline. I understand that the paparazzi are banned, but they do get the occasional photo of Caroline going about her business.
Is this because the paparazzi know that photos of Charlene will not sell and aren't worth their time? If Charlene is such a draw, I would think that magazines would pay for a photo of her running through the streets of Monaco, or shopping, or dining out. Also, wouldn't such a photo entice people to visit Monaco if she is such a major draw and everyone loves her?
Also, on this statement that Albert keeps making about wanting his wedding to be accessible to everyone: where did you get the idea that everyone in the world wants to attend your wedding? You sound like an egomaniac when you keep insisting that everyone is clamoring to get to see this reality tv show, street fair circus of an event.

Bild: The couple of the summer and meCarol Dendler meets Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert in Cannes The couple of the summer and meOnly a few weeks, then Prince Albert II (53) will give Monaco a Princess: Charlene Wittstock (33). BamS columnist Carol Dendler met the bride and groom of the summer in Cannes. BILD am SONNTAG: The most important question, Charlene: Is the wedding dress by Giorgio Armani there already? Charlene Wittstock: Yes, everything fits perfectly and it is wonderful, but I can not reveal too much... BamS: Is it similar to the dream-lace-dress of Grace Kelly? How do you cope with the constant Gracia Patricia comparison? Charlene Wittstock: We are very different people with different biographies, so you can't compare us at all. So you can tell the truth! That's a big word; how long have you practiced saying it? I don't find it classy that you are making a joke about your womanizing in front of your future wife.

Karma Emmeline for having the stomach to read these inane comments by these people. What planet are these people from? It is clear that these two knuckleheads were playing charades at the amFAR benefit. Charlene performed all night for the camera, every move was to influence these stupid people and they ate it up.

the key words "OF MY OWN" IMO meaning those other kids are going to stay ignored. i want the press to run with the evil stepmother story and it's going to be mentioned if those kids aren't at the wedding, it's already being asked on TV shows Were do I start...first, she asks Albert's permission to answer that question (like a first grader who finally knows the answer to one question and is "me, me, let me answer that one!" ;D Second, she clearly said "I" and not "we". If she was interviewed alone that would be ok, but they were both there being interviewed as soon-to-be married couple. One would expect they spoke about having kids during the last year of their engagement. She should have said "WE want to have children and WE can't wait to start family of OUR own." But those are Albert and WC, normal conduct and rules do not apply. Anyway, there is still time for another interview before the wedding. By that time she should come up with a good answer. I don't think that the words 'our' and 'we' are in the vocabulary of a narcissist.
