Charlene was smiling withe her father at the rehearsal for the wedding according to AFP reports, below is an excerpt, notice the comment from the Monégasque. How do you feel sorry for people like this?
Thursday afternoon, Charlene arrived smiling and relaxed in the palace preceded by his father to the ritual of the wedding rehearsal in a cathedral in the open, the courtyard of the palace, large enough to accommodate 800 guests brand.

Nicole out of the way was surely a demand from trashy...and this woman wants to marry a guy who has another child? Apparently she can't live with the fact that he already has children. HOw will she live with another child close by? And they won't be the last. SHe will have to answer to that eventually.

If Albert moved Nicole out of her house and let the Wittstocks move in, then he needs to be ready to support the Wittstocks until he leaves the throne and forever, if Charlene has a child. They will not be going anywhere. How trashy to make your husband support your whole family! Charlene must be pinching herself to see how well her con game worked. Who would have thought that the Prince could be so stupid. Ugh!

Nicole should have never been allowed basically in the lap of Albert so close to Monaco. B ut, Nicole KNEW as Charlene does now - that Albert has absolutely no balls. I have said this forever, but I don't think it's Charlene's doing at all--she is far too stupid, and she would do the same thing if it were her--she wanted to stay in Monaco even if Albert didn't want to marry her! Remember her remark about "how she is never leaving Monaco," Charlene probably admires Nicole, she even threatened to pull a Nicole when she didn't think Albert would marry her. Maybe Nicole was threatening to stir up trouble and someone was smart enough to remove her, but not smart enough to ban her from Monaco! She is one scary woman and who knows what she is capable of. I think Albert's wife whomever she turned out to be should have demanded that, and as I've always said, I don't think Albert's kids should overshadow his and his brides wedding-if he wanted them there then he should have shown them in the press earlier unless he can have them there and not make it a circus, this isn't the thread but ET (too busy to change the channel) just mentioned the Run away bride story, with a flattering description of Charlene as a women with class  , and a very poor picture of Albert! I told you he was the one that was going to be left holding the bag! He needs to thank his advisers for that! I can't believe he thought/thinks he could get married and continue a free lifestyle? Sounds like it is working out very well for him and he's not even married yet! I warned about this too--Charlene knows the deal--it's the other women he has/had  to worry about! |

Aside from her obvious good looks, few of Monaco’s wealthy residents had cause to pay much attention to the tall, slender woman taking an afternoon stroll through the principality this week.
Dressed in white cotton trousers and a vivid purple T-shirt, she shared the confident air of many of the well-heeled ladies who populate this spectacularly wealthy corner of France.
Meanwhile, just a mile away, faced with claims that she had attempted to flee to her native South Africa just days before her wedding to Monaco’s ruler, Prince Albert, another willowy beauty, 33-year-old Charlene Wittstock, was staging a determinedly public walkabout with her fiancé.
Little would initially appear to link these two women.
Yet they are inextricably intertwined, for the lady enjoying Monaco’s warm afternoon sunshine only a stone’s throw away from that rather staged royal photocall was Nicole Coste, a former air stewardess who also happens to be the mother of Prince Albert’s illegitimate seven-year-old son, Alexandre.
Ms Coste, 40, does not live in Monaco — her main residential address is a plush apartment in Paris — and her presence in Monte Carlo this week certainly adds another intriguing dimension to a story with a number of tantalising elements.
Just days ago, a Parisian news magazine reported that Ms Wittstock had been stopped at Nice airport last week clutching a one-way ticket to South Africa after learning a ‘distressing’ revelation about her future husband’s private life.
A senior Monaco detective confirmed: ‘Charlene had her passport confiscated so that the Prince’s entourage could persuade her to stay.’
The rumour mill in France has been in overdrive ever since.
Charlene had, it was suggested, heard talk of another illegitimate child, conceived since she started dating Prince Albert in 2005, and who would bring his tally of children born out of wedlock to three — Albert also has a 19-year-old daughter, Jazmin Grace, courtesy of the American Tamara Rotolo.
More lurid gossip centres on the suggestion that Prince Albert has a lover who is pregnant with his child. Even more wildly, some are speculating that this could, once again, be Ms Coste.
One well-placed source told the Mail this week that Nicole and Prince Albert have remained close since the birth of their child, meeting regularly and speaking most days.
The source adds: ‘The truth is that Charlene does not like the thought of Albert remaining so close to Nicole. She knows he’s a sweet, loyal man, but she wants her own husband.’
Those close to the couple are anxious to emphasise that all is well.
Preparations for the wedding — Albert’s first, at the age of 53 — were under way for months and around £50 million was spent to ensure the three-day event was glamorous and memorable.

My guess is that he was cheating on her like the others. Albert as far as I can tell has never had a monogamous relationship. She got away because he screwed up. As for being shy of the media. She was at the Olympics, a gold medalist. She was quite used to the press. That was only Albert's excuse. She must be counting her blessings at this point. JMO Her wiki bio says she got a BA degree in communications and worked as a sportscaster and was part of the NBC sportscaster team at the Olympics. She is now married with 2 kids and works in PR. Mary Wayte probably found out he was cheating on her and dumped him. He used the excuse that she couldn't take the media scrutiny, and here she goes into communications and PR for a career. Does this add up? I do think she is the one that got away. He was stupid. Something happened in that relationship and given his track record, I think it's a safe bet we know what the problem was. Sounds like she could have balanced being a princess and a Mom pretty darn well. Her problem with Albert is that she had her head screwed on straight. She had morals and self-esteem and she was right to end the relationship. His lose and Monaco's. |
