CC's parents haven't even been in Monaco before the wedding.
And CC was too afraid to leave the country because she knew that she would have been replaced in no time! I believe she said in an interview that she was generally very close to her family but hadn't seen them for a while. I remember that we in the forum made fun of it and wondered what kind of closeness it was to not see your family for years and not even introduce your boyfriend. The PR-lunch in Benoni recently only confirmed that PA has never been there before. IMO PA never met CC's family apart from Gareth before the wedding. I'm sure he did some kind of research on them to make sure they had no criminal record etc. but apart from that he didn't/doesn't give a sh*t about them. How often does he meet his in-laws anyway once or twice a year?! They don't even spend Christmas or other holidays together... (Compare that with other royal couples!) So it's completely irrelevant what kind of people they are IMO.
Let's assume Daddy W did something like that this could have happened afterwards:
1. He gets arrested right away. I mean he's in the palace there are carabinieri, bodyguards, employees etc. ...
2. PA says ok at first to get rid of him and then arrests him and throws him out of the country and his daughter with him.
What should Daddy do?! Kill PA?!
IMO after Rainier's death PA was finally free. I think Rainier would have never allowed his son to get married to someone like CC. He wanted somebody like Grace for him e.g. a celebrity, an actress, a model etc. Somebody photogenic who would bring attention to Monaco and would recreate the fairytale that was lost with Grace's death. But with all the girls throwing themselves at him all the time (this isn't an excuse of course) PA turned into a playboy and party prince. I don't think he's a monster or so I'm sure he has also fallen in love from time to time. But IMO he couldn't stay faithful. So he needed somebody to accept all his antics and simply marry him for money and status and look the other way no matter what he did.
When he became sovereign it was decided that he needed a wife and heirs so the search began for a person like that. We heard of the famous list with names on it of American socialites etc. and IMO CC was way down on that list. IMO in 2005 they spent the whole year looking for a wife for PA but everybody they asked said "no" so they ended up with CC.
They want us to believe that CC and PA had no contact between 2001 and 2005 but that most probably isn't true. In 2002 CC was again at the Mare Nostrum event in Monaco. Although she said in her first interview that she lost PA's phone number after their first date in 2001 she claimed in another interview that she contacted PA after Rainier's death to offer her condolences to him. In another interview CC claimed that she would be on a yacht at the Olympics in Athens in 2004 so probably with PA. Then in December 2005 PA asked CC out (she said this herself in her Vogue interview "Fit For a Princess: Charlene Wittstock") and they met in Cape Town at Texan billionaire Preston Haskell's famous New Year's party. This is the number one New Year's party in SA people nearly kill themselves to get an invitation. (Apparently PA is there quite often - IMO even every year - and was also there in 2009, I assume without CC:

According to Jo-Ann Strauss CC didn't even have a proper dress to wear to the party and Jo-Ann lent her one. (Since then Jo-Ann claims that they are friends. I mean CC is friends with everybody she meets once e.g. Maxima) So IMO CC has been his booty call for years PA had a lot of these around the world (e.g. Stevie Parker). But they don't want people to know as it would destroy the fairytale. IMO PA not willing to give up his playboy lifestyle he didn't find anybody else but CC to marry. I mean why should a rich woman and/or one with a career marry a man that doesn't love her and will constantly cheat on her? But a woman like CC who has nothing to fall back on will do this. So IMO CC was lucky that PA ended up with her. I mean he was the one who invited her for the party in 2005 because he simply needed somebody to accompany him. IMO PA had booty calls all over the planet in every major city. (Today maybe not so much anymore but I'm sure he still has some.) Every time he was in town he called, they had sex and he left. This went on until he had enough and found somebody else then he simply didn't call anymore and that was it. And CC was one of them. IMO maybe all or most of them hoped that PA would marry them as he used to say to them that he kept his real girlfriend a secret to protect her. I think it was Stevie Parker who said this and she added that PA never said "I love you" because he wanted to keep this for somebody special. How horrible, isn't it?! A man tells you this and you still continue to have sex with him... IMO these women incl. CC are all opportunists without an ounce of self-respect.
