It should have been self-evident, what with Andrew and the Order of the Garter, without having to resort to an ultimatum. It goes without saying that aside from the obvious bad taste, the public outcry, there was the Jubilee afterglow to preserve and the people's good will towards the monarchy. My nagging little voice however keeps popping in and wants to warn William to be prudent. Andrew has bad friends. He's also for sale. I know personally how even within your family, people's resentment at your rectitude can cause a lot of problems.

This is super nice of William, who wrote a letter to the widowed girlfriend of US Capitol riot victim Brian Sicknick who suffered two heart attacks following the ordeal: www.thetimes.co.uk/article/prince-william-sent-letter-of-condolence-after-capitol-riot-vk7fllx9wWatching the hearings, I think former VP Mike Pence deserves a lot of credit for navigating such insane upheavals and steering everyone out of a much bigger mess. He definitely should be decorated. ππΌππΌππΌ

Happy 40th, William πππ Men only begin to be interesting after 40, it's long been my belief. They inhabit their skin, know themselves better, are better aware, their vision is honed, they have the means, chosen their friends, are more indulgent and have rounded their rough edges. Of course, it's a sight to behold on their way to becoming, but 40 is definitely a good line in the sand. Enjoy your days of freedom until duty calls. Enjoy your family and watching your kids grow. ππ

I think their trip went very well. The visit to the JFK Library quashed the nonsense "no-show" grumblings - you simply don't expect a woman whose brother died in a plane crash to get on a plane in bad weather. Let's be real. John Kerry just got over catching COVID at Cop27. Otherwise there was a nice group of celebrities for the Earthshot Awards. There's only one tiny thing... it wasn't Saint-Patrick's though. I'm not a fan of the dress. It may be hypocritical coming from a woman whose last home had walls of "Limelight" green. I'm just not sure about wearing that shade. π€·π»ββοΈ I thought maybe they were going to be projecting images on her like a blue suit or something but no, not even. www.thedailybeast.com/kate-middletons-rented-earthshot-gala-gown-embodies-the-simple-chic-of-her-us-tripI also am not for form-fitting leave-not-much-to-the-imagination dresses and we can put Queen Letizia's recent off-the-shoulder number at an event with her husband in that category. It's not just Kate. But it was very sporty, kind of American but with serious jewelry. I don't know... Otherwise, great job ππΌ

I missed this earlier. It's a great look. I almost wish she'd switch this up for the royal debut and the white for this event... Good job. Let's see the Sussex budget version next π

So... Dear William, you don't have to put up with a wayward brother if you don't want. There is another brother you can turn to for solace, one who's been quietly resigned and poses no threat to you. He has a lovely English mother - a bit of a chatterbox, from experience, but a lover of miniature poodles. She didn't give him up, as others might have. And she isn't the one to speak of her affair with your father; instead, he can blame the loose lips of a building janitor for that. I apparently was neighbours with him, and his mother on the other hand, can't resist approaching another dog lover. She's quite pretty and he has her facial features but your dad's physique. He was a sad figure, last I saw him about ten years ago, flanked by plainclothes men. By past standards, he should have received a title and some land, and his descendance would be marrying kings one day. However my experience from your father of having your life railroaded, your work exploited, your love life invaded and being scapegoated for the sins of the people one once dated, points to a more sinister treatment of unspoken threats and torpedoed credibility. Imagine if men were judged by the company they kept... Putin would be considered a circus freak! Don't be like your father. www.theguardian.com/uk/2009/mar/24/prince-charles-letters-ebaywww.thestar.com/news/world/2009/03/23/charles_love_notes_up_for_sale_again.htmlwww.vaguelyinteresting.co.uk/royal-bastards/

This was a nice speech ππΌ, well delivered, on point. It brought QE2's spirit to the celebrations.
(I'm biting my tongue about my experience with the P's T., a certain ship & Toronto project, that I do hope the ICJ's Jack Smith is on top of. ππΌ)

ππΌ There IS a God! Catherine albeit maybe still wearing a stiletto heel, it is after all possible, although is looking like she's wearing a type of Mary Jane potential slingback in two tones. I'll take it!!!! Hallelujah ππ I'm right: What do we call these? Hybrids? π€

Just a thought... Men shouldn't really put their hands on or kiss a newly married Muslim bride, for one. Or chose the same designer as the bride's wedding dress (Elie Saab). That's just me.
