From my old buddies "Chaupiques Brass Band" Here is the programme for the 5 July inauguration soirée: 20.00: Start of the festivities: Enjoy the Place du Casino, which will be a pedestrian area for the evening. The brass band Chaupiques will be giving an acoustic concert, with 14 musicians walking around the Place du Casino. Savour more surprise events and special cocktails at Casino du Café de Paris. 22.15: Performance by “Echassiers Futuristes” (Futuristic Stilt Walkers): The glowing acrobats perform on the Place du Casino. Live concert live by the brass band Chaupiques. 23.00: Pop rock concert by the Bogus Brothers – First set. 23.45: Big laser show at the Place du Casino Midnight: Fireworks. Pop rock concert by the Bogus Brothers – Second set. 00.15: Performance by “Echassiers Futuristes” (Futuristic Stilt Walkers) in the Casino du Café de Paris Hall. Grace Jones...There was an interesting documentary on Azzedine Alaia and there she was. Her BF at the time collaborated a lot with the designer. What an era that was. She was such a good Bond villain too. Jamaican, right? She must have stuck out growing up there. I love Jamaica. Haven't been in years though, since friends' wedding at Trident in Port Antonio where the owner bragged about his Habsburg neighbour.
