Albert's little minute of Paradise. Parasit Conlene will show up at least the last day of the festival. She can't let go this big opportunity to show off her expensive wardrobe!

no big names (apart from Jugnot maybe), lots of former French reality show participants, wannabe actors and actresses. former Miss France who wants to be actress etc etc a to sum it up desperate people who hope to get at least a bit of press coverage and who are on main events only invited to fill the seats and make a crowd. For once they are considered the stars. How pathetic. And of course trashy wasn't there: she doesn't speak French and most of these wannabes don't speak English.

Albert looks so free and happy when Trash isn't around. Elizabeth I. best years and successful reign started after years of pressure to get married after her famous statement: "Observe, Lord Burghley, I am married ... to England." Marry Monaco - send Trash home! First time you will be really respected! Could anyone please tell him? Great news You don't need to marry!

I have to say that the program this year seems rather uneventful. Nothing that would make me want to go there...Seems that they are doing everything to not outshine the wedding. This years exhibit in the Grimaldi Forum seems to be a a short one on Graffiti. I doubt they will attract many people. The Japan exhibit last year wasn't a big success either. Considering that the Grimaldi Forum is receiving the largest chunk of the cultural budget when their contribution to the cultural life is the smallest...and the TV festival is not even organized by them...They are renting out the venue and cashing in. The forum is probably the one location in Monaco which consumes the largest amount of money from the government but has the smallest benefit to the people. But hey it"s run by Biancheris wife so we know that at least one Monegasques family is benefiting... and they are actually residents of France!!!!

In launching the Festival in 1961, Prince Rainier III of Monaco, "wished to encourage a new form of artistic expression, in the service of peace and understanding for mankind". A lot has changed since 1961. Just like actors, television has lost its exclusiveness as well. It doesn't take much any talent anymore to make into a movie or on tv and there are so much more of them these days. Maybe they should reconsider holding this festival? (Something that goes for everything in Monaco, just because it has been held each year for the past 50 years doesn't mean you should keep on holding it. Tradition is one thing, outliving your time another). But Albert does look happy, maybe she's just had some plastic wedding surgery* and is guaranteed not to be around for the coming two weeks? * Like having Grace's tiara surgically attached to her head?

I think the festival in itself is not the problem, it's a matter of oragnization and selection. No one would doubt the importance of Cannes even if the most important part of it is going on behind what we can see. But like so many things in Monaco, the festival has not kept up with it's time. There is some incredible scandinavian TV and other countries have great productions too. In Monaco you see mostly standard US and French TV. It"s mainstream, nothing daring or wanting to bring TV forward. not very creative or inspiring.

No Charlene and look how happy Albert is with all those ladies. That's exactly what I thought when I saw these pictures. His face looks alive and animinated ... whereas, he looks stiff, bored, and tense when around Trampolina.

I love love love Criminal Minds - but it looks like only two of the stars showed up. It's so weird seeing these two so jovial outside of the very serious characters that they play, especially Thomas Gibson's character. MONACO - JUNE 08: Matthew Gray Gubler and Thomas Gibson (R) attend 'Criminal Minds' photocall during the 51st Monte Carlo TV Festival at the Grimaldi forum on June 8, 2011 in Monaco, Monaco.

How trashy is this - this is how Trashy of Monaco will dress if the laws of nature change and she is able to procreate. French actress and television host Adeline Blondieau
