I wouldn't really consider this guy that much of an artist. He used to work for about 20 years in MC (probably doing posters and the like) He then decided to make a living of sculptures. They are are mostly exhibited in Monaco. Go to his website and you will see that he is very local. There are hopes 5just like Hartmann) to get people buy his things via connections to Monaco. Personally I don't find his tings very original or having his own handwriting that makes you recognize him straight away. He borrows from others, in particular Bottero, St phalle etc. He has attached (wording on his site) himself to Monaco and is now selling his stuff with half the profit going to ALberts foundation www.monacomatin.mc/article/monaco/mateo-mornar-oeuvre-pour-la-fondation-prince-albert-iiAlbert signed the Pegasus in Nice and dragged trashy along to the studio. There is a picture of them. IMO this is another stunt to polish ALbert's image as a man of culture and art, when indeed he isn't. His dad was interested in sculpture, but not Albert. Also I think it is interesting that Rainier managed to attract world class artists to Monaco, whereas Albert get's a twobit artist to pose with his twobit hooker bride in front of a second rate work. Btw the sculpture he names tiger looks to me like a bear with a tail....or maybe an obese tiger inspired by porky
