The worst official wedding photo of a royal in history. Charlene wanted it to be noted that she posed with the "reigning" royals because she is now a royal and a sovereign.
Note Mom's model pose, work that Mom, this is your money shot!

that has to be the worst framed, composed photo of such an "important" event! you can barely see anyone. i mean, did thy just ask some random person in the crowd to take the pic from a mobile camera? WTF?
Here is video from Euronews which shows The Cad and Trampolina entering the Opera for the evening reception. It also shows their incredibly awkward first dance -- no improvement from their first dance after their official engagement at the Red Cross Ball last summer.
Geez ... couldn't they have taken a lesson in how to waltz? What would they have done is they had been expected to do one of those elaborate dances they do in the Scandinavian countries! This is just as uncomfortable to watch as was The Cad's speech.

lawdy it's been so busy around here i've only managed to watch the wedding and try to keep up with posts (whew too much so i'll wing it from the notes i took)
i thought trashlene looked beautiful and i loved the dress. the train was ridiculous, it was way too long for that short walk inside the tent and then gave her trouble the rest of the time, the hair clip was gorgeous! the little girls were precious, the groom looked like a fat waiter at an italian restaurant, hated charlottes dress but the reading were nice. caro didn't look happy at any part when i saw her, stoney faced with not much emotion.
the whole atmosphere was sterile and cold, even in the photos it looks like movie set, the flowers look CHEAP and stingy. her bouquet was too small for the dress, the flowers should have been bigger along the top and why didn't they line both sides of the stairway with flowers WEIRD i actually dozed off during the ceremony, it was so strangely without emotion and FatAl with that nervous tic winky thing GETS ON MY LAST NERVE! and when they kiss it's such a strange kind of coldness, she cringes as if it's painful, he doesn't even aim for her lips, i've seen more passion between strangers on a train.
the bridal entrance was totally OFF, as i was seeing Fatal wandering in with a all the merry bands of priests (i counted over 30 men is dresses on that stage, 3,000 couldn't make this union holy JMO) the bride was already almost to the altar. she got applause but not as much as the royal couple from Norway, Sweden and the Empress of Iran (she has fabulous style IMO) steph and caroline got big applause but the couple when they left got barely a smattering (it certainly wasn't loud)
APPLAUSE only the non dynamic duo would stage a street corner circus where the guests walked a red carpet to applause. that WAS TACKY!!! i wonder if FATal noticed the applause when they left was lacking in any kind of enthusiasm.
my favorite dresses at the wedding was Beas, i liked tatty's but not the hat. nobody else made much of an impression, i thought the fashion was rather white trashy, except for the jewelry it could have been a fancy wedding in my town.
all those motorcades of carbon belching cars made an impression for the green prince i don't think that outer courtyard was 1/3 full and it was so strange during the ride to the church when the truck with the camera was filming beside the car, you can see there was NO ONE on the streets, FatAl was waving at air and trashlene wasn't, he said something to her and she started waving AT NOBODY
OMG then when she bursts into tears at the church, he was SO COLD and dismissive, i've seen several mentions on the news (bride bursts into tears, groom doesn't care) of his uncaring attitude. i'd love to know what he said to her, you almost read her face registaring "oh gawd.....we're married and nothing has changed" i got the same vibe after the kiss in the church. WEIRD!!!!! and not the "good PR" the 70 million price was for, stupid FATAL....how do you mess up a wedding>>>don't try to fake loving your bride, he couldn't have been clearer in the lack of affection between them.
i glad they gave out fans, i knew it would be hot, and it seemed some kind of air was blowing the veil and carolines dress>>> leave it to the couple to only put fans on them selves. interesting at the ceremony, mary got front row but back row in that sad photo, geez BAD!!
during the ceremony there was no joy it was like a funeral, trashlene didn't look up at all, just gazed down with her eyes downcast, i never saw them look at each other at the same time and if they touched or exchanged any kind of intimate gesture i missed that too. the winky ticky thing don't count!
i expected a tacky wedding with a huge amusement factor.....instead i found it depressing, not just the fact he married her (leave it to him to stage a marriage weeks before a dna test for another illegitimate child/s) but the atmosphere instead of a circus IMO was funeral.
i'm just glad all the coverage i've seen isn't pushing a fairy tale but a train wreck PR FAIL
they have it wrong, she didn't cry during her wedding but afterward in the St Devote church, BIG CRY, snotty, bawling mess, then FATal barks something at her and she gradually gets a hold of herself, he offers no comforting gesture or feelings of any kind BUT THEN i saw the photo in this article (i hope someone can put it up here, i think it's an omen for the future) LOOK AT HIS FACE!!! he's furious, hateful and without an ounce of compassion, NOPE nobody is buying this farce.
let's pat ourselves on the back, when we were harrasssed, ridiculed and attacked we knew what was coming. Thanks Myadia!!! we were the lone voice in the wilderness and the world is catching up to facts YEA

Excellent analysis Countess! I always knew this was a farce doomed to fall apart quickly ... but, who thought it would start to crumble before she even walked down the aisle!

Sorry, Sugahs ... but you been had!
LOL Yup but you should read some of the comments that follow the article Countess posted. Some of their readers STILL think they are in love!
I just started to watch the Bild coverage ... the arrival of the guests is just hysterical. I've never seen so many poorly and tart-ly dressed women (or at least I thought most of them were born women!). Proof that money can't buy you class.
"450 guests from aristocracy, celebrities from show business, sports and politics are invited and eagerly waiting for Albert's speech. Visibly nervous, he reads from his notes. "Charlene, I thank you that you adapted to my crowded schedule and could deal with my absence and my inconsistency" says the groom in his speech and his bride smiles gently. "Charlene, you're a wonderful, patient woman. Thank you very much for everything you did for my life, for our lives and for Monaco! "He gently strokes her arm. With tearful eyes Charlene listens to the words of her husband. But his speech is not all. No sooner had Albert ended his speech, he intoned the love song "Ti amo"."

Agreed! And that long, long red carpet walk they all had to take. How totally pretentious and unnecessary! I would have sneaked in a side door or something. I just hate doing things like that.
