According to South African media, Charlene will meet Desmond Tutu on Friday, July 8 near Cape Town and visit sites of humanitarian projects. this is clearly a publicity - look-at-me tour for the Princess Conlene of Monaco. But, I am sure the sugar loonies and sugar media will use this as proof what a hard worker Conlene is - to work on her honeymoon (as they ignore the fact that her husband would rather attend meetings than honeymoon with her)!

doesn't every happy couple in love want to spend their honeymoon with loads of people, hanging out with strangers at meetings instead of enjoying each other? stupidest thing i ever heard planning a wedding and honeymoon around olympic events, i said so at the time> " it was because they didn't want to be around each other," throw in the two new babies and i get a real kick out of how miserable they must be ;D and i'm LOVing the snarky PR even the suger stories have a nasty edge to them bringing up the kids and her trying to "flee". all the PR promoting their flagship is really paying off. ROFL wonder when she'll see her "grandfather" mandela (anybody besides me remember that interview?? years and years ago, link was lost on the red forum, i remember that discussion WHEW)

oh i remember that one. i wonder if gramps got an invite, albeit he is probably getting to old to do much traveling. still seems she would have gravy trained off the mandela name for the weekend circus event.

I'm sure Mandela was invited and declined due to his health. Doesn't it seem odd that she is doing humanitarian meetings when Albert banned his own flesh and blood ( As some posters on another forum put it bastards) from attending his wedding. But then he must think sending them money is enough.

“I was thinking earlier, how can you give back without doing anything. We have to all give in our own way.” These are words of wisdom from Charlene, the new Princess of Monaco - its flagship
Princess Charlene, Tutu join forces for charityby AFP posted on Independent OnlineJuly 8 2011
Monaco's new Princess Charlene on Friday urged people to do good, as global peace icon Desmond Tutu welcomed her as co-patron of a group of 10 charities in her native South Africa.
“I'm so honoured to be here today to accept this patronage,” the former Charlene Wittstock told a ceremony in Cape Town.
“I was thinking earlier, how can you give back without doing anything. We have to all give in our own way.”
The royal joined Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tutu as co-patron of The Giving Organisation Trust, made up of 10 charities that focus on issues ranging from HIV to children and environmental protection.
“We are very thrilled because you have a heart,” Tutu told the former South African Olympic swimmer.
“It shows that you care and we just want to say a very big thank you to God for you, that you should have wanted to use your celebrity for other people, on behalf of other people.”
She came to Cape Town after a party the previous evening where she hosted nearly 500 guests at the Oyster Box, a luxury hotel in the Indian Ocean resort town of Umhlanga. The princess said Friday it was “great being back home”.
With his trademark charisma, Tutu told the princess that she already looked regal in photographs, complimented her “serene highness” title and said that she was beautiful after hugging her in welcome at a local clinic in a shantytown.
“I'm taking him home,” the princess pronounced, laughing after he later told the audience they were all lovely.
“They would say we are a mutual admiration society,” Tutu said.
The princess and her husband Prince Albert II arrived in South Africa on Tuesday for their tour which has been described as part honeymoon and part business trip.
Albert, a member of the IOC, took part in Wednesday's election of the 2018 Winter Olympics host city, which saw Pyeongchang, South Korea beat out Munich, Germany and Annecy, France.

LOL give back without doing anything.....so that's her idea of charity: showing for a photo op, but not doing anything to back up. Taking all the credit from the people who actually think you have to do something (and most of them a lot) to give back. Yes that is who trashlene peacock of Monaco really and truly is. That's where she really shared her rotten soul with the world: take as much as you can and pretend that you are giving back. Gosh I'm glad that I'm leaving here so I don't have to see how bad things will be turning in the next few months.

And you are not a true princess until you find some brown/black children to hug as proof of you generosity and care for the underprivileged - never mind if you lived in the country (or another poor one) all your life and didn't do squat for such children until you schemed your "To Catch A Prince" plan. Princess Charlene of Monaco greets children during a visit to the Cotlands HIV/Aids Hospice in Somerset West near Cape Town July 8, 2011.

Charlene is truly an angel! You just have to look at her face: Feeling in Heaven: a black man kissing her white princely hand. Look at her face: she is such an angel, look how she hugs this little girl: This is good for the future of Monaco, because children like her: Here she is: the Perfect Princess Charlene of Monaco:

Here are higher definition photos of Conlene with Archbishop Desmond Tutu during a visit to a clinic in Masiphelele township near Cape Town July 8, 2011. These little children are so beautiful - I just hate people like Charlene explting them for her own selfish reasons - photos for her collections. Let's just hope she at least leave a check. She should at least donate the amount of one of her specially made haute couture gowns. Of course, anyone who is thinking is Princess Conlene "how can you give back without doing anything. We have to all give in our own way" - should wear Chanel sunglasses as they give back like the Princess Conlene of Monaco. Actually, I don't think that wealthy people should pretend that they are no longer wealthy when they visit the poor. But, I have a problem with everyone hailing this con artist as some great humanitarian when she LIVED in South Africa and didn't do anything for others until she realized it will look good on photos for her princes-to0be gig and now Princess gig.

In the above picture she looks as detached as her husband at the wedding kiss. She does it because she needs media attention not because she wants to do it. I do not see true involment here. It's staged.
The little girl she got into a "bear hug" doesn't seem to like it. It looks almost abusive how she hugs that little girl.

In a forum (not the sugary one) people have seen these pic and seems like Charlene got what she wanted: they are saying she is a good girl for doing this. And that she'll be a good princess. I'm not going to go into a discussion with them, it's not worth it. Besides, they know i don't like Charlene and if i say something negative about this visit, they will kill me. They tolerate my comments, but i know it will be too much for them if i show my opinions about this. So, once again, i thank you Mya for creating this little corner where we can discuss the reality of things without being demonized.

Princess Charlene of Monaco is presented with a Desmond Tutu doll by Ondela Kapayi during a visit to a clinic in Masiphelele township near Cape Town, July 8, 2011. I don't see the beauty that the media raves about - I see, in spire of all the surgeries, a very masculine looking woman

OK i think it's creepy she shows more passion with Tutu than her own hubby. am the only one that thinks she's more natural around everybody else, the body language experts must have a lot of thoughts when looking at them.
