Clearly, the Italians are not afraid of Albert's little hissy fit to the media. I know this was mentioned in the board, but here's an article gossiping that Albert is the father of Rachida Dati's 2 1/2 year old daughter. No one in the French media has touched this story! And, I doubt that they will unless they are really really sure that there could be some truth to it. Read in Italian here at Bergama Sera. I have no idea about the reputation of Bergama Sera, can anyone clue us in?
Prince Albert of Monaco, a daughter of former Minister Rachida Dati?Editorial July 22, 2011 Navigate increasingly turbulent waters in the marriage of Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock.
After the rumors on the contract signed before the wedding, a new bomb explodes media asul third alleged illegitimate child.
According to rumors, the daughter of Albert of Monaco would be a two and half years old girl named Zahara. But not all: in fact the mother of the former would be small French Justice Minister, Rachida Dati, who is now aiming for the presidency. For now it is just gossip with no official response, but perhaps the Grimaldi are already trembling.

Actually, Albert is just one of a long list of men who have been rumored to be the father of Rachida's daughter. Here are just some listed in this Telegraph (UK) article. The only public statement that Rachida has given about the father's identity is that "the daddy travels a lot"
Father of Rachida Dati's daughter Zohra is Qatar's prosecutor general Ali Bin Fetais al-Marri, book claims
The French guessing game over the identity of the father of justice minister Rachida Dati's daughter was reignited on Thursday after a new book suggested that he was a Middle Eastern prosecutor.By Henry Samuel in Paris 05 Feb 2009
In their book, Belle-Amie (Beautiful Friend), journalists Michaël Darmon and Yves Derai suggest that the father of Miss Dati's daughter, Zohra, is Qatar's prosecutor general, Ali Bin Fetais al-Marri. He has made no official response to the claim.
Miss Dati, 43, who has made several trips to Qatar in recent months, has declined to name the father, but told reporters that "the daddy travels a lot".
The prosecutor joins a long list of names, including leading French television host Jacques Essebag (popularly known as Arthur), Henri Proglio, a prominent Paris businessman, Dominique Desseigne, a hotel and casino tycoon, and Jose Maria Aznar, the former Spanish prime minister.
All have denied being the father but Miss Dati has said nothing. Former French rugby coach and sports minister Bernard Laporte also made an official denial, as did François Sarkozy, President Nicolas Sarkozy's younger brother.
The new book refers to Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel Bel Ami, the story of journalist's corrupt rise to power from a lowly officer to one of the most successful men in Paris, most of which he achieves by manipulating a series of powerful and wealthy mistresses.
In Belle-Amie, Miss Dati is portrayed as cynically ambitious. One high-profile publicist, Philippe Lorin, described how the young Miss Dati had befriended him and his wife, and he became her mentor. "When my wife died in a car accident, she came to my house in the evening and we talked until three in the morning," Mr Lorin is quoted as saying. "At the end of the conversation, I told her that I was leaving Paris to live in Tangiers and that I was selling my agency.
"She disappeared from one day to the next. I obviously no longer interested her," he said. When he bumped into her years later, she blanked him, he claimed.
Miss Dati caused a stir by giving birth last month by caesarian section and returning to work five days later in time for the announcement of a major justice reform.
Popular with the French public, the glamorous minister has fallen out with the judiciary and will leave her government post after June elections for the European parliament, in which she is sure to win a seat. Mr Sarkozy reportedly gave her no choice but to accept the demotion. She is second on the ruling UMP's electoral list for the Paris area.

Wow, we did discuss this possibility here! Yes! Actarus first posted this information in this thread: Palace Source: Albert Faces 2 Paternity Test! According to the 'dagospia' website, in the jet-set circle it's rumored that Rachida Dati, a former French minister might be the Arab woman pregnant with Albert's child. (take it with a grain of salt, though) Here's a second post in response to it: According to the 'dagospia' website, in the jet-set circle it's rumored that Rachida Dati, a former French minister might be the Arab woman pregnant with Albert's child. (take it with a grain of salt, though) If if it is true. We will never hear a word from her. She is clever enough to enjoy and remain silent. And I do not think she is the kind of woman PA enjoys for stray excursions. Here's my post: According to the 'dagospia' website, in the jet-set circle it's rumored that Rachida Dati, a former French minister might be the Arab woman pregnant with Albert's child. (take it with a grain of salt, though) Didn't Eringer identify a Moroccan waitress - could Eringer be wrong again? OMG, I would not be surprised if it is Rachida! I always wondered if it was possible and once I mentioned it on a particular board - I believe it was around the time when Rachida got scolded by Sarkozy for going to a luncheon with Albert instead of meeting with labor unions (something like that). Then, Charlene's doppelgänger went crazy and starting posting all sorts of nasty articles about Rachida, including other men who were already rumored to be the father. Actually, if one of Albert's baby-mamma turn out to have a brain (than the dimwits he tend to go for), then this will lessen the vitriol/ridicule toward him - only lessen. Regardless, LOVING IT!

Here's another mention of the rumor from an Italian site called Gossip.

All these rumors just roves how little people think of Albert - yet this moron is throwing hissy fits about the media ruining his reputation. Here's another mention in from Oggi magazine.
The third child of Albert of Monaco is the secret ... Find out the gossip today July 20, 2011

Some how I don't think her baby is Albert's only because this woman is very very ambitious and smart in a cunning sort of way. I can not see how Albert would appeal to her. He's not in her league. I can see her going after money, but the money would have to have real power not power like Albert's which is none as far as we can tell. She doesn't want the tiara as much as she wants real power. Charlene only wanted the title, the cash and the fame. JMO

The Italian media have no respect for Monaco or the Grimaldi family. They've been sued so much it's not funny (Oggi, in particular I think).

The Italian media have no respect for Monaco or the Grimaldi family. They've been sued so much it's not funny (Oggi, in particular I think). No, it's CHI that was sued after its prevous editor, Silvana Giacobini, close to the Monaco family left. The next editor Brandani got libelled so many times, that he was forced (although not officially) to quit. Now CHI is edited by Alfonso Signorini a bootlicker of the Grimaldi's of course. Do not forget that this mag is owned by Berlusconi, another good friend of Putin's... Brandani is currently editing 'OGGI', which has never been too soft with the princely family, as well as Novella 2000 mag, both owned by John Philip Elkann, Bea Borromeo's brother in law. Another mag with high circulation figures 'Diva e Donna' carries and extensive report about this piece of gossip. Apparetnly these are speculations, but who knows? In another froum, a French poster said that in an interview Dati stated that the name of her daughter's father starts with A. I do not know if Bergamo Sera is a reliable paper. Perhaps they just copied and pasted the article from dagospia, that firstly published that piece of news.

Says everything about Dati...
I hope she know who the father is.
But I am convinces it is not Albert. Otherwise Dati had shouted this from the rooftops from the beginning.

I don't believe the story straight away because she is way too classy for a scumbag like FAtal. But as you say, anything is possible in this surrealistic soap opera.

Dati is not his type nor is he hers. SArko was likely candidate. She goes for men with power and money. Albert only has money and soon he won't even have that. She is a user and golddigger, but even for her Albert is not interesting. He lacks the personality she seeks. She would want someone who is admired, not someone who is being laughed at. She would have gone for his dad when he was younger. Weaklings like Albert are not for her. She has those for breakfast or as a snack.

Maybe she maxed out her credit card. Funny, Elektra. I guess I am too cynical, but I can see Rachida getting involved with Albert - for a short period of time. Let's not forget she got into big time trouble with Sarkozy when she made the decision to attend a luncheon with Albert than meet with union reps.
