... guess people see Charlene more and more for what she is: a poor person with some disorder(s). Wait! Wasn't there a fairy tale about it? "The next morning, the prince goes into Aschenputtel's house and tries the slipper on the eldest stepsister. The sister is advised by her mother to cut off her toes in order to fit the slipper." Didn't Charlene say she could not compete in Bejing because of a uncle injury ?

I always said that this is Cinderella with the alternative ending where one of the stepsisters gets the prince and he doesn't hear or listen to the pigeons telling him about the blood in the shoe.
The ankle was before Beijing. She had the photo op on her way to see Faruk staged with Albert. That was too funny. As if ALbert would take the time to see a chiropractor with her;the shoulder injury I think is the official version. Obviously we all know that ever since she moved to MC she never trained (I saw her only once, whilst Albert was busy next door and that was in 2007). But she wanted to maintain her cover up story for Bunte and their lot. She only participated once in a competition since she moved to MC and she was clearly doped then. She soon dropped out after that because she has not been on any doping control list previous to that competition and after that she would have been listed and checked. So it was too risky for her to be found out officially to be a doper. In her case you don't need urine to prove it though. All you need is to look at her shoulders and her body and you know that she has been doped for years with testosterone. I have no doubt about that at all. SA doping was during her youth no different then GDR doping.

I recall just the Chinese swimmers one Olympic BBBbbrrrrruuuhhhh Then they said there was rampant doping. I mean, if you need to be artificial to be an Olympian, leave the floor to real people already. I know it's a matter of national interest to grab medals but the fallout from the lies is disheartening to young people who look up to these athletes. One comment on radaronline yesterday was that a woman's dying son had looked up to Armstrong and that fortunately, he died before getting crushed - pardon the expression. In CC's case, though she has no such following, it's her health!! It's how she changed her DNA and morphed her physique. But duh, she hasn't really stopped morphing her physique. She needs to raise the self-pride so she stops looking at her body as a lab experiment. Her parents would have to be examined for the reason as to why she would have such a poor image of herself, to want to constantly change it. Cher and her daughter/son have that problem. The body is a temple. You don't need to keep a contractor on staff

it's not about trashy but surgery in general. Just thought I'd post it here. She also says that women with surgery seem to age more then those without. I had the impression too. Especially with those in their early 30s. Maybe it's psychological becauses you can always see that sth has been done and we still assume surgery is sth for older women, or it really does sth to you that ages you... whatever it is I still haven't seen any woman improved by surgery unless she had a severe acident to warrant it. But those are the cases where I think surgery can help heal the psychological scars and trauma. I also think that it's fine for breast cancer patients, if they feel that it helps them and can be done. In those cases I even think it should be paid for by health insurance. But other then that I think there should be more restrictive laws against unnecessary surgery... www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2357691/Jane-Leeves-Am-I-REALLY-star-Hollywood-waxwork-horror.html

Interestingly, cosmetic surgery does go back a long long time, possibly Ancient Egypt. The problem is the artistry. The surgeons who propound that the best kind of work is invisible to the eye, are the ones that stand out as having integrity. My view is whatever can be kept organic is fine. For instance, fat transfer rather than any kind of foreign object inside the body. I'm all for corrective surgery and I know quite a few women who have had breast reductions, believe it or not, and my mother has always wanted one too. It's the hack jobs that ruin it for everyone, and the serial faces and offensive breasts out there that deter anyone. I think there should be a fund set aside for disfigured victims out of the pockets of every client who elects to have surgery, a a way to balance out those who need versus those who are just toying with nature.

Well, I still have a problem wearing my butt in my face... organic or not... breast reductions are often done to reduce backpain. I consider that an entirely different matter and motivation. It's a health issue, whereas the other is a vanity and/or psychological issue. My problem is also that the budge job are paid for by healthcare, whereas IMO people who wanted it done, were aware of the risks and went on doing it anyways. That IMO is reckless behaviour and should be the responsibility of the individual or the doctors insurance, not the public. I'd rather have the money go to fighting cancer of children and the likes.

You're lucky to escape vanity, Pax. I don't know about wearing your butt in your face...? (I'm not going to make a wisecrack about the size of anyone's butt...no yucky pun intended ) There are other zones where people produce fat. Backpain but also not being able to find clothes your size because of your chest. My mother had a 32 inch waist when she was young but was always top heavy. I'm not sure how government should introduce themselves in the debate. I know that some surgeries are already covered in many countries so can we really ask for more? It's like sex changes, it's a thorny issue. Ask CC

Her dead eyes though creepy, simply creepy, the 2nd photo. she was never a beauty, always very average, but pretty - preplastic, that is. same league as stephanie of lux, in the looks-department, certainly not in the education department (you might mistake the comparison as an insult for the lux new GD-to-be). she looks petrified and horrified by the mere thought of being pregnant, not enchanted.

I have always maintained that although she was no Grace Kelly-beauty, she was not a bad looking woman. She was "cute" and sporty -- not cover girl glamorous. However, in her futile attempts to become Grace-like she has morphed into what seems to me to be "android-like' ready for her close-up not in a Hitchcock movie rather in a Spielberg sci-fi thriller.

OT: i do hope myaDia will sooner or later join back in so more members may participate in this forum. and as a relative newbie i would like to state how remarkable it is that despite the longterm absence of our lady-boss all members do behave extremely well-mannered. i do know very VERY VERY few other boards / blogs where this would be possible - people in general slaughter each other digitally when the cat has left the house ... within days. so, ladies, kudos to all of you and to myaDia for obviously picking the right gang. hope you are well, dear, you are missed dearly!

She had somehow her original features in that. And poor little Jacques looks so much like her! She looks so different now...well, her face changes every six weeks so...
