Just came across this and I found it refreshing, not just because Sophie looks natural but offers another image of effortless femininity without looking like a Barbie. Which I guess means the same thing 😀 Also with Idris Elba returning to his parents' roots and taking Sierra Leonese citizenship to help develop it, it's particularly relevant at this time. Good job. Love the skirt 👌
A bit of a curveball with the reports about the Edinburgh dukedom. What's that all about. Is it because of a deflection of Harry's betrayal that may be making Charles oversensitive or slightly paranoid? Maybe those decisions should be put off until it's a less emotional time, after grieving. Sophie is very popular too, but she's not the Markle attention-grabbing type. I think she'd be just as good as support cast to C&C as she is now, and unlike the daughter-in-law, brings positive publicity to the Crown. Not everyone is an enemy. On the other hand, it could be Scottish independence that makes Charles want to stay close to those local powers I haven't quite figured out yet (though I've gotten an inkling of a kilt-wearing male figure who's got a darkish soul, if mental images are to be believed but since many come with a Doppler effect, the uniform could be the opposite. Who knows.) I digress. Edward deserves recognition for steadfastness, loyalty and promoting a healthy family image. 👏🏻
Hopefully this is still at the rumour stage, because reneging on QE2 & Philip's written wish is definitely uncouth, especially when "slimming down the monarchy" is probably code for: "I'm just not sharing the money". Tsk tsk.
Though I haven't gotten around to their outfits yet, from the coronation, but a HELL NO here ladies. I'm not sure if it's an attempt at an hommage to the Japanese princess's Spring look but these dresses are plain dowdy. Not the usual fare. Though arguably, nothing could be dowdier than this:
which I was purposely not posting, mainly because the camera had also made Katy Perry look fat, as if a filter was added to fugly some people. However...
