My money is now on Pierre, personally. Regarding Alexandra, all I can say is I hope at some point she will be steered by the royal court of Hanover. If I were them, I would be nervous at Caroline's abilities as royal matriarch where steering her daughters towards good marriages is concerned. yes, I think that Bea and Pierre are nicer to look at. Tatiana and Andrea in comparison look like they need a good scrub. But that doesn't necessarily mean that they would be a better choice for succession. It's not like Pierre is leading a different lifestyle then Andrea. They all have some alibi occupation, but they also all of them know that it doesn't make a difference if they go to work or not. And they all don't give the impression of being ambitous. Andrea once said that CHarlotte was ambitious when she was in school, but it looks like she gave up once she encountered the first difficulties. Alex also plays in the orchestra (or at least did so while I still lived there) so I think that she is already used to a large audience. also from the very beginning the skaters have their competition and show at the end of each season. So it's all there from the beginning. A friendly crowd for starters, but that how they all start. Lte's wait and see if she has the will to continue. Pauline was doing fine in her diving and before in her gym, but every time she was on the verge to go further and face tougher competition, she stopped. Bit like Charlotte and her riding. Let's see if Alex has more stamina then the rest of them.

Alex isn't a looker like CHarlotte has always been. I think that alone will turn her into quite a different character. Look at Pauline. SHe used to be an average looking kid. Now she has lost her puppy fat and has grown into a young girl that knows that she is privilidged but also knows enough to get along in the real world and who is looking rather nice. I see Alex going more into that direction. Pierre was also not a stunner as a kid, unlike Andrea. I still think that Pierre is deficient in many ways, but I guess you can only judge them in comparisson with each other and not normal people. So in comparisson to Andrea, yes he seems better. I like his gf better too. Mostly speaking looks department though. I really think though that they are lacking the framework in MC that the BRF have, which stopped most of them to become idle bludgers. You might have seen Will and Harry partying, but everyone knew that eventually they had to get up in the morning to do a job and military is not that easy... some military discipline would be useful to the MC lot. Though didn't help much with Albert...

Alexandra is not done blossoming. I don't even want to think of Charlotte right now, other than to say that none of her friends would have made this bad a match. I don't see them marrying down, because their parents and grandparents have too fresh on the mind that gentrifying takes effort and focus, to throw it all away on a whim or court jester. It's nice to equalize but this is just dumb. Would a Niarchos or even co-religionist Roitfeld have married a Elmaleh? No. Case closed. Alex isn't a looker like CHarlotte has always been. I like her ice skating! Go girl! Wonder if Charlotte will return to riding?

I'm not sure how their levels work but, I remember a video a while back of her skating and for her level she seemed pretty good. A lot of girls drop out of ice skating around ages 10 - 12. They drop out after a certain age because it begins to get difficult. Ice skaters tend to drop out as soon as the girls start to develop. It changes their balance and you have to be willing to work through the changes in the body's development. My daughter still ice skates for fun but it definitely became more difficult as she grew up. In addition she had to make a choice between her riding and her skating. She decided to focus on riding because when she was in 6th grade a friend of hers went to the Junior nationals and finished 10th, came home and told her that her future in skating was over because she didn't finish in the top 5. My daughter decided that it would be a short "career" since most skaters retire if they don't make it as Juniors where as riders "careers" really don't begin until they are in their 20's. It will be fun to see if Alexandra sticks with it or goes the way of Charlotte and does it as a hobby.

my guess is she will be going like Pauline, who was first really good at gymnastics, then went to diving and then stopped. I don't remember if she went to watch in London, but I don't think she continued since finishing school and moving to Paris. I noticed some names on the skating list from ballet school. I know Alex used to do that before moving to MC, not sure if she continues though. As far as I know at a certain level some skaters still do ballet for grace and some gymnastics for strength. Interesting though that both girls chose a sport which depends to a large degree on the judgement of others, rather then sth that can be objectively measured...

You can see the Grace Kelly genes coming through in this photo. She's becoming a very attractive young lady.

He shows more affection for his nieces, nephews, and twins than he does to Charlene. JMO.

If Albert keeps this up, he's going to become known as the Kissing Prince! Kiss CC, kiss Alexandra, let's see who next? Just for the cameras! (Probably Steph, it's her Bday...)

Good for Alexandra! And good for them to support her competition. He does show more affection for his blood relatives. Very odd that the Wittstocks haven't been seen after the birth of the twins.

Alexandra has given an interview with someone called Thomas Vernier about her skating. It's on a u-tube and was done on Friday. She's pretty refreshing with a nice smile and for her age although giggly seems to handle it well. She puts "Auntie Charlene" to shame really. This girl can think on her feet. For her age I think she did well.
