French Blogs are reporting some of Charlotte's comments from her Vogue interview. About fashion, the face of Gucci remains modest: "I like the power of transformation that allows fashion. But it's not an obsession or a headache. Dress for me c is a way of honoring the people who invite me or my family. I never try to be spectacular. I want to be fair and respectful." [/blockquote]
Charlene needs to type up copies of this quote from Charlotte and put them all around her dressing room. She is ignorant of this and it shows in the clothes that she chooses. Many of Charlene's outfits are disrespectful of the people she is meeting. Strapless outfits and long gowns in the daytime. She doesn't honor the people she was invited to meet nor does she honor her family. She is trash. Maybe Charlotte will give Charlene some lessons because she sure needs them. Again, Albert had all he needed to reignite interest in Monaco - his nieces and nephews, but he choose Charlene to be the 'most important person in Monaco'. What a sap!

She doesn't honor the people she was invited to meet nor does she honor her family. She is trash. Maybe Charlotte will give Charlene some lessons because she sure needs them......
Scout, That is exactly right and exactly what I thought when I saw what Charlotte said--I actually started to post a quote that I have posted many times before, at least four times by now, regarding the very same sentiment and Charlene--I thought about doing it one more time after reading this! I posted it along time ago in regard to Charlene--the first time I posted it was when Caroline invited her to an Amade Event in SA when Charlene still lived there--Albert probably twisted Caroline's arm a little after the sisters helped to send Charlene directly home after her first attendance at the Red Cross ball. I guess this was back in 2006. Jaya had a really good post regarding Charlene's dress and showed up after Caroline at the event, and I thought this particular quote was very fitting, and through the years watching Charlene, it became even more so. When I saw what Charlotte said it reminded me so much of it--Charlotte gets it and understands it's and Charlene never will--I posted that sentiment...that quote, many times before....Scout, another person might take heed and be smart enough to at least pretend to understand it, but Charlene never has! Compare the words of Charlene with the words of Charlotte. No one could ever accuse Charlene of being modest! Everything she does and each and "every" word out of Charlene's mouth is about nothing more than a way for her to convey her own self importance...to brag, and to celebrate herself....Charlotte smartly points to the very big difference between her and Charlene. Charlotte is beautiful and royal "inside" and out, and she shows she has nothing to prove unlike Albert's impostor mock wife who will never ever be anything to brag about like Charlotte. I read an interview once with Caroline in Town and Country, where she made a big effortfor it to be about the Ballet in Monaco and not herself--just like her daughter, she was so modest, she was so careful and afraid to take credit for anything, even what was will deserved. So, Charlotte's interview does not surprise me--she is her mother's daughter, just like Caroline is her mother's daughter. Grace would be disgusted at the woman and appalled someone like her was trying to style herself after her, trying to ride on her coattails. Let's face it, if Grace was alive Charlene would never have had the opportunity, but I bet she would be very proud of her granddaughter. "Again, Albert had all he needed to reignite interest in Monaco - his nieces and nephews, but he choose Charlene to be the 'most important person in Monaco'. What a sap!" SO TRUE!

that's what fatty and trashy just don't get: when they are at a function, they think it is about them and the pics, whereas those who are serious about a cause know that it is about the cause and those working for it. I don't even consider what CHarlotte is saying modesty, IMO she just simply understands what it is all about. MC has covered the vogue article as well. They have a very nice quote in there that sounds like she is sending trashy a message: I refuse to pose as a caricature of a princess. That's the opposite of who I am. www.monacomatin.mc/article/derniere-minute/charlotte-casiraghi-joue-les-mannequins-dans-vogue

That's all that Charlene is - a cartoon figure of what her pea-brain self thinks a princess is supposed to look and pose. What's really funny is that the local papers wouldn't didn't advertise Charlene's cover for Tatler and her other Vogue features because including in them all were poses and especially quotes that were very telling of the gold digger Charlene really is. After Charlene's Tatler interview Albert's attorney Lacoste had to give an interview to explain Charlene's tacky brazen bitchstock attitude. Here's yesterday's cover of Monaco Matin with Charlotte on it.

I'm sure she wants to point out the difference and doesn't want to be equated with Charlene in any way. Myadia I felt the same way, every word of those interviews is Charlene trying to tell the world just how self important she feels. Instead of behaving like she has any class or humilty, they have to get someone to try to print it about her, which is riciculous and only points out to how hypocritical the statement in, when she is actually doing photo-ops and interviews before she is even the Princess of Monaco, making statements like "We" have a country hous, of course she has been doing all that for six years, chasing the cameras and any one she can get to write about her! I swear it looked like she lifted a quote directly from one of my earlier post regarding being discreet. I can't believe this girl. I think it's funny what you posted about Albert's attorney having to apaologize for her, because I have warned that is exactly what they would spend all their time doing if Albert married this girl. They would have been better off using a cartoon cardboard cutout, that couldn't open it's mouth and reveal themselves. They will be apologizing for Charlene forever, but then they had to know that since they had already been doing that for many years before Albert was stupid enough to marry her. I love when they let this girl open her mouth! ;D Her interviews are priceless since she makes no apology for being in love with herself and being the world's biggest golddigger.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make this thread about Charlene again, but the comparison of the huge difference between these women, can't be ignored. Charlotte and Caroline are women of substance, and that is what Albert and his stupid advisers don't seem to understand. They don't seem to get that Charlene is a huge insult to women, especially their support and promotion of her--they just don't get it!! It is unbelievable that they think she will be a draw....for who?
Thanks paca--you know me better than that! ;D

Paca, that reminds me of the time when I got so use to referring to Charlene by her fake names that she used on the forums, that I actually started unknowingly referring to her by those names in my posts, like once when responding to a picture of Charlene, and that crazy moderator we use to have made a remark about it, and so I reread my post and I still could not see my mistake! I went kind of postal on her--like what is your problem! What are you talking about! Funny!

I posted the posts pertaining to Charlene's video of one of her three pieces of jewelry made for her wedding in Charlene's jewelry thread. There's a lot more info about that tiara and the other pieces that Charlene had made in that thread, so please continue to discuss it here: Charlene's Jewelry Before and After Albert.

Charlotte looks exquisite - simple natural elegance.
Charlotte Casiraghi: A dazzling jewel in the Cartier exhibition
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2011 AT 20:13
August 31, 2011, Zurich had eyes only for a single diamond, despite the tremendous exposure that Cartier opened its doors in the city speaking at the Museum Bellerive, which will host the public until November 6.
The beautiful Charlotte Casiraghi was indeed present on the opening day of the exhibition entitled " Time Cartier Art ", which traces brilliantly as many parts of the house Cartier watch. The daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi was the late resplendent in a beautiful strapless dress neon yellow ...
With the president of Cartier International Bernard Fornas, the young woman of 25 was able to discover the fabulous parts of the famous jeweler, staged by the Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, winner of the Design of the Year 2011 awarded by the magazine Architektur & Wohnen.
Tina Turner still looks good

Is it possible that this girl has the most perfect face ever? I don't like the dress, though.

I'll bet that Caroline wishes that she could have been with Charlotte in Paris on the night of Sept. 8th, rather than at the opera with the bipolar couple.

As we predicted, Charlene is no longer cover material for the magazines - unless to ridicule. Bunte and the others knows what sell - Charlotte. Charlotte Casiraghi: Caroline's daughter, is Monaco's most beautiful face. Now she offers insights into their future plans

Charlotte surely will singlehandedly redress Monaco's glamour and class one day. All is not lost. She's already the counterweight for the crass and boorishness at the head of the Principality. She's Monaco's finest ambassador. I wonder what's happening with her own magazine?

According to MONACO TODAY, Charlotte attended a special Ladies Lunch event in St. Tropez earlier this month. Also in attendance was Nick Danziger. There will be a full report of the event in Monaco Life next month. Source: Thtregoddess11, TRF
