This morning I really thought the worst thing ... I saw the big bus ride in the palace with all the staff. Weird A final greeting (?)
I think that an end of an era is coming, JMO sad.

No more funny, cranky, curmudgeonly old dude. He was the only one who made Keith Richards look like a spring chicken! The end of an era? If you figure that Charles has been prevented from his throne by blackmail and that his sons are embracing the mainstream and therefore preparing for civilian life, yes. I think QE2 has been holding it together as best as humanly possible. For all the bad royalty conjures up to people with too much narrowmindedness to realize there's room for everyone on this planet... still, royalty serves as a check and balance against the composting of expectations. It's a symbol, always has been, and a focal point in the chaos. I think it speaks as much to a reactionary human impulse to have to do away with anyone or anything in order to affirm something. If I were younger, I'd probably "challenge" my bestie (and meet with little resistance I think) if it meant preserving our way of life because one day, God willing, people will realize demonizing humanity's symbols is a mark of self-hatred or just an excuse to usurp by dishonest means. You pick. It's laid out in my imagination (and here!) to seize my province and launch a proverbial overthrow of negative power south of me. Sigh. In the end, I'd get caught in the game of competing interests anyways, when it's clear the evil twin countries are already launching an assault on nations' sovereignties from space(!) - all Elon Starck and Blow his Trump. It's interesting how rather than to turn outward in a show of unity, their satellite is aimed right back at the Earth. There's a long way to go before civilization is truly achieved IMO. I hope QE2 eats well and exercises and stands her ground a lot longer. And that her husband cracks her up in private and makes her laugh. This morning I really thought the worst thing ... I saw the big bus ride in the palace with all the staff. Weird A final greeting (?) I think that an end of an era is coming, JMO sad.

A cute article on the Queen's corgis. I can't wait to get my dog his Corgi mate, God willing we can ever find safe harbour again. Dogs are the best company, they never fail you: Everyone's best friends

She kept calm and carried on. While Theresa May still tended the crisis. I noticed so many Muslims among the tenants, coincidentally. No fire alarms, no early detection systems... another deadbeat landlord who didn't want to have to demolish to build something new. We saw something similar in Vancouver recently if memory serves. I wont go into the black mold that was lurking in my last Toronto apartment building. Anyhow, the Queen's annual tradition went on: With a solemn birthday messageMay she live for decades more and stick it to the usurpers who treat people with the worst disregard. Oh, and bestie, I have a milestone coming up at summer's end if you feel generous. Anything to not let crown lands fall in the wrong hands. I'm not picky

I am MIFFED. I can't believe QE2 would spend Euros120k inside the Queen's Privvy Council, on matters I provide opinions for free right here from a man investigated for corruption!?! Its a compounded double standard; I have to be scrutinized constantly for the crimes of men whom I haven't spoken to in decades - as if a man would ever have to sustain the same about the women he's met or briefly dated AND left - though I haven't committed crimes, while my husband is probably getting hit up for bribes to finally be able to get me out of this country and while I have to play chicken so my mother doesn't end up the victim of an "accidental" overdose of insulin at her senior home run by mobsters. This really takes the cake It pays to be corrupt... Unless the man is actually steering her away from his fellow politicians, I just don't see it.

Coming off my high horse, he's Privvy Council locally - not to QE2 in London or anything. That would also be paid by taxpayers. So my apologies, my miffing was spasmically overblown. The rest, I stand by. And stand by. And... I am MIFFED. A sad footnote on the topic of "accidents"... a forklift flew off the back of raised delivery truck and crushed my cousin Marc to death yesterday morning... This follows days since this post, avoiding setups and having to miss my American hero's memorial today. I'm not sure if it was the $250 million cocaine bust this week or whatever else it was that set off these animals. Suffice it to say only they will stoop to that level and that I'm also so ready to obtain my own safe house, funds, etc whenever those concerned feel like indulging me already. I don't know how much longer a person has to put up with this. Honestly... I am MIFFED. Bestie? Ellen deGeneris is OUT of the squad, agreed? Her and her undies obsession. She's always trying to get into people's pants by handing them out on TV.

Commonwealth is in secret talks to decide whether Prince Charles should take over when Queen, 92, dies Commonwealth not hereditary and unclear who will take over when Queen dies Set up a 'high level group' of top figures to discuss 'governance considerations' Queen wants Prince Charles to take over but fears this will not seem democratic Senior Commonwealth officials are due to meet in London for secret talks to consider whether Prince Charles should take over when the Queen dies. The organisation, which is not hereditary, has set up a 'high level group' of seven leading figures to discuss 'wider governance considerations' - code for the succession, according to insiders. The group is expected to report to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) on its findings in London in April, which is expected to be the last the Queen will attend. -50% read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5384999/Commonwealth-secret-talks-decide-successor-Queen.html

It doesnt have to be democratic when they hold a ceremonial role since they already function as a democracy. QE2 should give the princes each a realm: Charles, Canada. William, UK, Harry, the rest (Australia or the Caribbean, I'm not sure which the others are). Charles should head off any potential problems by modernizing his dad image and embracing hard choices that can only relieve his load and optimize his rule. These are different times than before, and the public responds to reconstituted relationships because they identify and they much prefer open honesty. Flawed works. Turn tables around. I wouldn't wait for QE2 to die, for her to take a much needed break and lengthen her life by seeing her legacy prosper. It's a new world. www.bbc.com/news/uk-43040240Looking at the arguments for a final decentralization, and I wonder...how many of the 53 countries benefited from their adherence to the Commonwealth and how many might have or stand to thrive, without the cohesiveness of a central figure to portray their values? Individual ceremonial leaders unversed in the discipline of royal figureheading will be prone to scandals and allegations that throw nations in downward spirals ethically. There is a moral, aspirational and inspirational dimension to the job that a greater number might not surpass. That doesn't even cover what potential landgrabs or exposure to coups being cast away might bring on. I have to check on those two theories but it just seems like such a final devolution of the symbolic hold and membership - historical and political - that opportunists would just jump at to influence the course of nations, until the outcome is a new type of centralized executive power that's far more nefarious than one prince or regent. My fellow Quebeckers will think I'm spinning my head 360 degrees here, but I'm not convinced when I see the moves by democratic leaders toward autocracy, like Trump, that its really worth it to make drastic changes just yet. Imagine waking up to a commonwealth elected ceremonial leader with shady backers who suddenly decides to overrun the democratic process and use the symbolism of his office as a populist jumpoff? I'm afraid it would leave even a slight opening for that specific kind of adventurism. Who needs a crop of new kings like Trump, that you can't unseat? Perish the thought.
