Maxima is a very large woman, yet she manages to look elegant and stately, while Charlene often looks misplaced and awkward. I love the faces Maxima is making when she and Albert kiss hello. He looks like he is loving all the extra press attention he is getting due to the announcement of his pending heir --- either that or it's because Charlene is not there. Maxima wears her tiara and jewels well. In fact her whole outfit is very difficult to pull off without looking like a Hollywood "B" list, yet she does manage to make it all work for her. I thought Maxim shows how a woman who is not a stick figure can wear fabulous clothes and jewels. |

Maxima shined with that Green dress. Although i don't like the bottom part, she looked very well altogether.
The jewels are precious. There's no way Barbielene could have done any better with that ridiculous made for magazines ocean tiara. And God knows what kind of "fabalous" (as the sugars like to say) dress would she have worn.
First visit ever of a Souvereing of Monaco to the Netherlands and she missed it.
She also missed the coronation for the current King and Queen.
And will probably miss the coronation of the King and Queen of Spain.
This woman is just...bah, i don't have any word to match my thoughts.
