Mathilde is superb yellow. With a notable exception by Princess Anne at Ascot (and Mathilde's daughter?), she's Summer sun's queen 💛☀️👑

It's nice to see Queen Mathilde and a brochette of other royals. I loved the loose bow for a neckline and the slit of her dress - bold for her, I thought, revealed some fine legs. Princess Astrid had a nice headband and fuller skirt. Naturally given the occasion, everyone was sober in appearance but it's the little details here that were nice.

Not ignoring the self-effacing queen Mathilde in the latest link with queen Rania & the US First Lady, in what seems to be a whirlwind of September duties for the Belgian royal, but her striped silk skirt just again brings out the not often remarked fact that she probably has the best pair of royal legs.
