Charlene, the unfortunate. July 13, 2011 - Madrid - Noelia Morales They sleep separated, they barely appear in offcials dates and the only thing that reigns between them is indiference. The barrage of rumors over their marital crisis has been unleashed in record time. Thirteen days after the "Yes, I do", nor Charlene nor Albert convince that their story is fairyn tale one. The coldness that surrounds each one of their gestures, the repellency that is sense between the two, has made all the covers of half the world. If some french newspapers were the first in reveal Charlene's plans to escape (before the wedding, she would have tried to escape from Nice's airport to South Africa three times) some portals go for literature and they become profetics and talk about The Grimaldi Curse, in which all members of the dinasty are destinated to have unhappy marriages, generation after generation. Truth is, that there's always have been some tendency to surround this family with a halo of fable, but this time the princess of the fairytale, couldn't even enjoy a happy start. In fact, none of the south african media give the couple credibility and they even show themselves more convinced that Charlene is not happy. "It was supposed to that her honeymoon in Africa was going to be a fairytale" some locals journalists write. They also hugely criticize the oficial dates of the princely couple agenda, and the commercial smell that some of them have. Locals newspapers like "City Press" inform that in their meeting with Jacob Zuma, the south african president, the Princes of Monaco arrived in the same car, but left separately. Also, they say that when the media asked them to kiss for a picture, Charlene turned her head and Albert kissed her in the cheek. Despite of being a newly married that returns to her homeland as a princess, Charlene barely smiles and they say that she only seemed happy when she hugged archbishop Desmond Tutu. Also in these days it's been known that the couple sleeps 16 kilometers aways. While Charlene is Oyster Box Hotel in north Durban, her husband is at the Hilton Hotel. The Princess even changed the presidential suite in which she was with Albert (and it costed 3000 euros) to a more modest one. Even though they tried to justify the separation argumenting that the Prince had a meeting with member of the IOC, the rumors about the existence of two more ilegitimate children might have overshadowed the first steps of the marriage. For now, the south african press has given to Charlene the essential in any monarch with substance: a nickname. We just need to know if Charlene, the "unfortunate", will be down in history as the protagonist of a fugacious marriage. The bitter return: She should be happier in her homeland. As she confessed to the German Magazine, Bunte: "Now I'm Monegasque, but my roots will always be in South Africa", "It was a happy coincidence that the IOC meeting this year was in Durban, Prince Albert of Monaco is very commited to IOC www.larazon.es/noticia/9893-charlene-la-desgraciada

And her is my german media online press review Berliner Morgenpost making fun of "Fairy tale wedding" www.morgenpost.de/printarchiv/leute/article1700931/Kasupke-sagt-wie-es-ist.htmlTaxi Kasupke Cabman KasupkeKasupke sagt, wie es ist Kasupke put's it in plane GermanDonnerstag, 14. Juli 2011 02:22 [Note of translator: he puts it in Berlin-dialect, the locals are famous for their straightforwardness and not getting impressed by titles and positions. It is almost impossible to translate it into a concrete English dialect - simply enjoy the article with some salt and pepper ;-)] "I saw this comming!" My wife Trude isn't surprised at all that Albert and Charlene don't even sleep in the same hotel during their "honeymoon". This doesn't look like sweet honeymoon but rather bitter gooseberry season. Obviously the whole wedding was just for show. The eternal bachelor Albert had to get married to give Monaco a beautiful new First Lady Monaco ... after the unforgotten Grazia Patrizia. Meanwhile he is facing one more paternity test - again! "Poor Charlene" sighs Trude. But nobody forced her to marry him - we guess she was paid well to say "yes, I do." That's why they call it a fairy-tale wedding: fairy tales are fake. kasupke@morgenpost.de"Hab ick's doch jewusst!"

http://www. abendblatt.de/vermischtes/article1956611/Schwierige-Flitterwochen.html Difficult honeymoonthe quite long article repeats all the rumors and facts (Charlene turning her face away when photographers asked them to kiss ect.) paternity tests ect. http://www. morgenpost.de/printarchiv/panorama/article1700975/Szenen-einer-fuerstlichen-Ehe.html Morgenpost has exactly the same article, just different title: Scenes of a Princely marriage http:// nachrichten.rp-online.de/panorama/charlene-und-albert-dementieren-ehekrise-1.1331475 nothing new, "just" repeating all the rumors and facts that speak about a crisis that started before the wedding and there is no sign this crisis stops. Title: Charlene and Albert deny crisis. [Albert should stop denying: nobody will believe him a word anymore!] http:// www.oe24.at/leute/charlene-albert/Charlene-Ich-bin-gluecklich/34033753 Austrian oe24 quotes different international newspapers and reported facts that contrast the statements of Charlene "I am happy!" and Daddy Wittstock "These rumors are scandalous. This love is true." www.oe24.at/leute/charlene-albert/Charlene-Albert-Kehrt-sie-nach-Monaco-zurueck/33864100[Note: this article is from yesterday - but I found it on oe24 today and find it quite interesting] It titles: Unable to cope. Will she ever go back to Monaco? The Princess might try to stay in honeymoon as long as possible Article mentions Alberts affairs while being officialy with CW, different hotels ect., but the interesting part is this: Suffering from depressesions? There are informations about Charlene having depressions. She is reported she is unable to cope with her new role as Princess. South African media say they know Charlene has no plans to go back to the tiny Principality Monaco and tries to stay as free as possible. (...)Depressionen? (...) and, last but not least: Four minutes ago this article was put online: http://www. abendblatt.de/vermischtes/article1956611/Schwierige-Flitterwochen-Sieht-so-Glueck-aus.html It repeats the rumors and asks "It this the look of love?" describing the strange way they kissed, stayed in different hotels ect.

www.nowmagazine.co.uk/celebrity-news/529512/the-shocking-truth-about-prince-albert-s-runaway-bride/1/The article says not much new, this part I found quite interesting: "‘Prince Albert looked ashen and whenever she wasn't posing for official portraits Charlene looked strained and shell-shocked,' says one guest. ‘The whole thing had a very odd atmosphere. 'Compared to Prince William's marriage to Kate Middleton, this felt like a wake.' " Read the full story about Prince Albert and Princess Charlene in Now Magazine dated 18 July 2011 - out now. Maybe someone here can get it? I have very limited access to English print media...

Thank you Emmeline and Margarita. Beautiful job. Karma to you both! Apparently Mme. Stahl has hired an attorney to go after Eringer. He has posted his attorney's response on his regular editorial blog not his Q & A. Pretty interesting stuff and worth a read. Gotta say I like Eringer's attorney. He seems pretty sharp!

I wish more people realize as this man says above - Charlene was NOT forced to marry Albert and why did she? The answer is simple - money, fame and a life of people sucking up to her - what she wanted since 2000! Wake up people and take off your rose colored glasses about this con artist.

I really wish people would realize that the need to produce an heir is a con as well since Caroline already has 4 heirs.

I really wish people would realize that the need to produce an heir is a con as well since Caroline already has 4 heirs. Hibou, It's not that there is a need for an heir, but Albert has made it very clear in his words (see all the videos where he mentions having kids) and his actions that he wants his seed running Monaco in the future. Can you just imagine what that seed will be like? I still think that Conlene has some male hormones, thus pretty difficult to conceive. Imagine if she cannot have kids - talk about the ultimate karma for this saga!

Personally, I think some fresh blood the the trio would better serve Monaco.

Before and during the Fake-Event they behave like media whore. And now the idiotic entourage says: The media need to leave them alone!!LOL I say: Go for it media! Go for it media! ooohhh yes! They wanted the world to watch at them! Now they have to cope with it. BTW: Another journalist (Sybille Weischenberg - every Thursday on Breakfast TV "Frühstücksfernsehen" SAT 1. talking about VIP) who was pro Charlene for years -from day one!-and NEVER said anything against her (but simply talked about other topics even when other media started to discuss "How true is this love") .... today turned against this fake tale and blamed Albert and Charlene and the Palace for blaming US and all the "jealeus unfair" media for reporting about their not-in-love behaviour and all the incidents causing the trouble. She said the same: they wanted the media attention - now they have us looking and they shouldn't blame us for what we see. (I couldn't watch Frühstücksfernsehen the last Thursdays -after the "wedding"- so maybe she turned already right after the wedding. But today I watched and was like WOW! Now the taugh part is about to start for Conlene and her Flunkies ;D- Monaco and Albert: save what is left from your reputation!!! NOW.)

Even Vogue, who champion "poor" Charlene are talking. www.vogue.it/en/people-are-talking-about/obsession-of-the-day/2011/07/charlene-wittstock-alberto-honeymoon-gossipIncreasingly dark and stormy clouds seem to gather around Monaco’s new royal couple, despite having just celebrated in a grand ceremony the wedding in the eclectic cathedral of Rocher, on July 2nd, the same setting as the time-changing ‘50s wedding between Prince Ranieri and the unforgettable Hollywood "swan", Grace Kelly.
Now, after the latest blows fired from the tabloids, websites and magazines around the world, which are following with agonizing interest and malicious curiosity Albert Grimaldi and the statuesque former Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock’s honeymoon in South Africa, even her father, the quiet South African salesman Mike Wittstock, is entering the media arena. He strongly states that the stories about the disagreements and the allegations of a breakup between the two have been made from thin air, and he asks for the support and the love of their fellow countrymen to support his daughter’s private and public events.
Everything has been written and said about the controversial events regarding the golden couple, especially after the bride’s apparent melancholy during the religious wedding ceremony in the Principality, and any related celebrations for that matter. Independent Online, for example, reports that sources very close to the Royal Family of Monaco and therefore very reliable, reveal the existence of a secret agreement, whereby Charlene would be perfectly free to divorce, just after securing an official heir to the throne of Monaco. Now the news have truly spread that Charlene, a few hours before walking down the isle and becoming a princess, had tried to escape from the Nice airport.
There has also been a great talk about the fact that the newlyweds spent at least one night a part last week, during their honeymoon debut in Charlene’s native country, with him over at the Durban Hilton and she in the legendary Pompeian Oyster Box Hotel in Uhmlanga Beach, in the South African east coast, where she hosted, on Thursday, a great wedding party. Mr. Wittstock felt compelled to point out that Albert preferred to be accommodated in the more central Hilton Hotel rather than the luxury resort by the ocean, because the next morning, at seven, he had to attend the first annual session of the meeting of the International Olympic Committee Directive, which was divided over seven days, hosted in the South African city.
What is sure is that the two lovebirds spent little to no time in romantic intimacy, overwhelmed, as to be expected, by parties, visits and representative commitments, including official ones with President Jacob Zuma at his seaside residence. Then on Friday, Charlene, all alone, flew to Cape Town from Durban to attend a charity event with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. And if it is certain that the indescribable Albert, being the good absolute monarch he is, had already had children well before marrying the blonde mermaid from Africa, the firstborn Jazmin Grimaldi is 19 years old, while Alexandre Coste, his second, is seven, now everyone is awaiting the DNA test on a third alleged offspring, which has appeared out of nowhere. And therein lies the gruesome problem, because obviously the latter, clear as day, the child was conceived during the Prince’s relationship with the poor Charlene. The Prince, if the event turns out to be true, is anything but incapable to generate, being endowed with formidable and infallible reproductive capabilities worthy of vigorous plebeian loins. The bets are more than up about what Charlene will decide to do, if her husband’s umpteenth paternity turns out to be true and once absolved from her duties as wife and mother of the dynasty. Judging by the warm encouragements that can be seen on specialized international websites, especially on women’s side, many are expecting her to take a strong and definitive stand, with an immediate abandonment of the "Ruritania on the beach" set between the South of France and rocky Ligurian coast.
Charlene, sweet but with a strong discipline like any self-respecting professional athlete, will know well how to act, taking into full account the consequences given the delicate role that she has been called on to fill in the complex and dynamic change that the reign of the Grimaldi is facing today. Whatever happens, she will hold perfectly the position and the role covered for decades by the blonde and poised Princess Grace, a heraldic icon more than any royal-born and of right of birth, and true passport of the deliverance and of the real economic, social, and cultural boom of the Principality in the ‘50s on a universal level: not trivial thing.
A stress that could destroy the nervous system of anyone, even leaving the children matter aside. There is no possible peace, you might say, between the Dubai style buildings massed in that tiny and expensive piece of land, rock and concrete on the Mediterranean Sea, in the surreal gardens, between the melodramatic true or fake end of the century opulence of the great hotels filled with expatriated rich men, elegant spoiled bored ladies, and runaway taxes everywhere.
Twists, love and affairs, luxury and excess, death and power. A soap opera filled with twists and turns, which continues to fascinate the world as a hyper Dynasty, one of those unresolved cathartic U.S. series that narrate of the world of the rich and the famous. And actually, unbelievably, goes beyond imagination. Wow, more good press. The description of Monaco as fake end of the century opulence of the great hotels filled with expatriated rich men, elegant spoiled bored ladies, and runaway taxes everywhere should bring in lots of tourists.

More great press! Wow, the wedding has done well for Monaco. The flagship and her family are bringing sugars out in droves! penguin.book.co.za/blog/2011/07/12/richard-poplak-hesitantly-raises-a-glass-to-monacos-prince-albert-ii-and-princess-charlene/Richard Poplak wrote a brief profile on Albert II, the Sovereign Prince of Monaco who recently exchanged vows with South Africa’s Charlene Wittstock. Poplak, author of The Sheik’s Batmobile, was disenchanted by the whole wedding circus and had nothing good to say about the tax haven of Monaco, which he calls “a high-end parking lot for Ferraris”:
Want proof that ordinary human beings will elevate obscure royals to the status of useless celebrity without much prodding? Need any further evidence that the editors of Hello are responsible for a cultural holocaust equal to, and perhaps greater than, anything the National Enquirer could dream up? Meet Albert Alexandre Louis Pierre Grimaldi, aka Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco.
Let me say this much for the toff who is the subject of this profile: I once drank an espresso in his little fiefdom, and it wasn’t as expensive as I’d expected. Once a flea-bitten medieval backwater, Monaco is now a high-end parking lot for Ferraris. I’ve never been able to figure out why Monaco exists, let alone the particulars of its allure. Kabul has better food; Springs has better dress sense. It is an exhausting joint, full of people tanned into a form of carcinogenic leatherette, all there because of some unwritten social code that sends them across the globe in peripatetic protection of their status. The espresso, by the way, tasted like a moist ashtray.
