Apparently (allegedly?) both Albert's pre-marital kids are (were?) in Monaco. Allegedly invited over by Albert for a week's holiday. Allegedly (yes, again ) there are pics of both of them together in MC, but since they are only viewable when you pay/have a subscription, I haven't seen them. The article also mentions, IMO equally allegedly, that barbs is pissed because Albert invited the kids to the palace... Oh well, slow news time.

Why is this so remarkable? And why should it be Monaco's doing? She, or her mum, could do this all by herself some years ago. Does anyone remember the promo for her foundation and that horrible royal blue battleship of a dress? Palm Springs Magazine IIRC. This one is practially a copy. It is slow news time and Harper's too need to fill pages. And it will probably sell some magazines. Royalty and royal relations and friends have a lot more adoration in the US than in Europe. Fergie went to the US for a reason back then. Albert told People this month that he himself had “underestimated” his wife. “She feels a little more comfortable with the media now, and to be quite honest she got there on her own,” the prince said. “She’s coming into her own. I think she’s found a good space.” Sigh, this is too stupid to comment on, but Barbie was happy enough to talk to the press when she was still swimming so I have trouble believing she is so miserable due to the media. She was even more happy bragging to the press when she was Albert's hired escort. Even worse, she once complained somewhere in an SA interview about not having gotten enough promotion (i.e. media attention) when she was a swimmer and how things would have been different if she had. But of course few people remember. So I play the 100% baloney card on this statement.
Oh dear. Every golddigger fashionista princess (i.e. all of them, except maybe for the born ones) in Europe is now gnashing her teeth. What an insult (to them of course).

To be honest, I was just being mean. The thing exists in more versions than I care to count and also, oddly enough, in more prices than I care to know and there's always the possibility that the other photo was mirrored or something. Apart from the left or right shoulder missing variation, the website listed several more versions and I can't for the life of me see what the difference is or why the one should be almost ten times the price of the other. Maybe I would have figured it out if I had bothered to look closer.
Ok, this was my fashion contribution for the rest of the millennium...

So barbie is wearing the thing backwards? Not really surprising, it's so shapeless you can probably only distinguish the front from the back by remembering on which side the shoulder part is missing... Who is the one wearing the red dress? Did any photographer catch more of her than only the hem of her skirt?

Technically, you could even link to the one on your computer and it would work too, as long as the computer is on and has a working internet connection. That's how those peer to peer things like torrents work I believe. It would depend on your firewall and security settings but I'm not sure it would be a desirable situation.
Be carefull with the images though, I just read that this specific agency earns a fair bit of income by sueing people for misuse of their images on the internet.
Donna, does this enthousiasm for a siggy mean that you're going to post more here?

The celebrations really look pale in comparison to other royal houses celebrating their monarch jubilee's. Here, they didn't even made a gala dinner, invite other monarchs...well, Albert and his plastic wife clearly don't fit in the other regal royal world. Everything was just pathetic. And poorly executed. Mmm, personally I'm not pleased with extravagant celebrations in a time of recession and crises and Greek loanes. Filthy rich royals spending truckloads on parties while their subjects pay for the royals' bills and may stand in line outside the food banks... Not saying that's the reason for Monaco's apparently non-splashing party, just mentioning. And you know complaints would have been made if Monaco had held splashing and expensive celebrations. Especially because they were splashing and expensive celebrations...

Barbie is on the frontpage of two of the four Dutch tabloids. (Monaco on the frontpage is in itself newsworthy). I don't know about the other one, but one of them claims Barbie is living on her own in villa in southern France, close to the sea. With two nannies to mind the twins. And she has to do the vacuuming herself: imagine a picture with an unrecognizable blond person bending double while vacuuming the veranda... I'm wondering if she's taken over Nicole's old home (does anyone know of a link to the pictures of that place? I have a vague recollection of seeing them once somewhere).
Just thought I'd mention it. Is this a re-run of some of Bunte's stories and photos or is it new?

swimming fondation is unsuccessful? So she starts with the 'exchange rugby' with the Springboks....LOLis she looking for her ex? or is Albert searching for rugby men... Laying the foundations for her new job, acquiring contacts and building her network for after? So she can keep on living the celeb life? Celebrity and world fame was what she was after, even in her swimming days. I still don't see this marriage lasting for long, too many incongruous things for it to be real IMO.

Just IOC member activities? I vaguely recall reading once that IOC members have to attend a certain number of matches/events. I think they even get told which matches to attend, but with royals those rules are probably relaxed... Might be wrong though and then all this is just a figment of my imagination.

First off: if it's real, then they are nearly 10 years too late with their investigative journalism. Second: wasn't she from German descent? Admittedly that came from that equally reliable source called Bunte, but when you're called Wittstock (German town) isn't it safe to assume that some ancestor of some sort did have some German ties? And thirdly: if you look back far enough, anyone has some distant family member with a story attached to them. Just like most people are very distantly related to royals/celebs and so on. Fourthly: they are way too late with their stories! I just want to have that said. Again. For non-British and other foreigners: Princess Aziz seems to be so obscure that Wiki hasn't heard of her. Anyone know who she is? And daddy W. seems to be changing jobs faster than you can say quidditch...

well first of all there are natural ways of having photo ops with your kids without them being too obvious as PR. I don't see any problem with them being invited along for NH on the balcony. Show that they are part of the family when everyone else from the family is present. I don't want them to post private pics anywhere. Just tag them along to F1. The family has a balcony, so there is no need to drag them to the trophy ceremony, but it is the kind of thing they may be interested in and show that they are integrated members of the family, not after thoughts. If you take them to these public occasions, it can be assumed that in private there might be more. Or, since ALbert loves skiing but wifey doesn't, he could take the older ones skiing and later trashy can mind the little ones whilst ALbert skis with the big ones. There'd be plenty of paps around to document it when you go to the specific places. I wouldn't have any problem with that at all, especially if their siblings are there too. Because no matter what the adults do, the little ones would grow up and have a relation ship with them. And probably a good one. Seeing the age of their dad it could only be beneficial for them to have their half siblings in their lives. Don't let the Dutch royals or the Grimaldis hear you: privacy here, there and everywhere. One non-arranged and non-posed and most of all one non-agreed upon photo and they sue your underpants off. (And win everytime. At least the Dutch do )Not that I think that that is the best way to do things, but with those it's privacy 24/7. That was kind of in my head when I wrote my previous post. Most royals want to keep their kids out of the media and the last thing you'll likely to do then is pose with them/be seen with them in public. IIRC that is what Albert said (or tried to say) with regard to Jazmin and Alexandre at the time when all this was still news-ish.

Hey, that's not true. Nicole spilled the beans with private pics of Albert and Alexandre in Paris Match. Those pics went global. Jazmin got her 15 minutes of fame at the PGA with a family pic including not only daddy Albert but as added bonus stepmummy barbie too.
Besides, you know as well as I do that if Albert posed with his kids, people (us) would scream child abuse and criticize him for using them as pr and for putting them in the spotlights and making their lives more difficult. It's a lose-lose situation, no matter what.

Sorry, i was having the mass in mind, lol. This is the throne room, you are right. Albert signed some document. I don't know, something related with succesion issues, maybe? Registering the kids at the registry office maybe? Or in Albert's case the mayor comes to the palace?

What a pity! I haven't seen a cheque in years, decades even. Well, I suppose there goes my chance to contribute to the fund for the Jesus babies... comments daily mail: - Why in one of the photos are people celebrating holding a banner that reads 19 November 2014. Weren't the twins just born? Just reading up. I also noticed the 19. On the Monaco Matin photos in my case. (Not so difficult since the Daily Mail published all of them). I suppose the photos are really from Wednesday and not borrowed from National Day? Not that there is much to do at the evening, but still? A case of "I have nothing to wave so I'll take this one I have left over from 've carefully treasured since National day". BTW where did all those people get their flags? I once spent wasted a day looking for one and never found one...

I think the only question left is how long before Trampy gets her buy-out agreement now that she has produced the heir and spare ? well, I said before there was the talk about the 5 year agreement and the 2 kids via IVF. so she fullfilled her contract almost, so 2016? It would tie in with ALberts "visit" in the afternoon.... gosh these 2 are such a PR disaster. And you'd think they would do the charade extra well, seeing that it has to be convincing. At least Maxima understands that. Albert is the son of an oscarwinning actress, you'd think he'd picked up some tips along the way. Sophies daughter is blond. She has an eyeproblem though Maybe it is her and did I see her at some event. I just didn't expect to have seen Sophie's children and even remembered them. Goes off to google...
