Haven't you realize yet - exploiting Grace is their only way of promoting the "New Grace" and the flagship of Monaco - Charlene Lynette Wittstock. Don't you read the tabloids and the glossies - Conlene is the splitting image of grace in looks poise and elegance.

That'll make it 6 years they've been cashing in on her

IMO Grace Kelly was the one and only "flagship" Monaco ever had and will have. She was famous all over the world. I guess PA has to make sure that people who know who Grace Kelly was know (OMG - so many knows!) that he is her son. And he has to hurry up before the people who are interested in Grace Kelly die out. I do not think that younger people even know or even care who she was apart from a couple of movie freaks. So no wonder he leaves his carbon footprints all over the globe, he has to make cash! Because the only people who are really interested in MC and its opportunities are people who just need a letter box to perform their tax evading business.

It is very unfortunate for all of us that so, so many young people - those under 20 - not only don't know who Grace Kelly was, they don't know who Frank Sinatra was, or Elvis - those under 12 don't even know who The Beatles were! Im recently heard someone say about Elizabeth Taylor - "Wasn't she that old lady who was friends with Michael Jackson?" And just two minutes ago I heard on a television program that the biggest hit on Google over the past two days was "Who was Usama Bin Laden?" And that the people asking this question were in large part 25 and under!!! I think we all might be in big trouble on this planet! Life as many of us know it has changed dramatically - and not necessarily for the better - IMO!

The visit of Prince Albert to my country is not on the headlines... No comments about the visit on today's (wednesday) main newspapers. One can find small reports on the internet which cite briefly the purpose of his visit, but focus mainly on his visit this morning to the club of São Paulo's football team and second on his meeting with Alckmin. As far as I have seen, no comments about the wedding and/or Charlene, except for a caption of a pic in one site. I'm afraid I would have missed his visit to Brasil if it weren't for Royal Opinions.
P.S.: Of course, the British Royal Wedding was on the front page of all newspapers, info sites and so on!

^Yeah, South America is not a very monarchic public, but the wedding of Wills and Kate made the headlines here in Argentina too, in every magazine.

OOOOHH Yes, he has a different aura when he's not with Conlene With CW he looks like dead man walking - out of energy. And I still can't stop thinking about the nightmare I had April 7th/8th when I saw him dead before July 2011 and cried when I touched his left cold hand. He stops being himself when he's with Conlene. Maybe he noticed?

Do you know who the Gibson girl was or Mr. Dandy? It's a shame, but life goes on.

I listened to my parents and grandparents conversations and I learned a lot. In fact, Berry Berenson was a friend of mine. She was Elsa's grandaughter (and Marisa's younger sister) She was on one of the planes that hit the World Trade Center in the 911 attack. Obviously you know who these people you mentioned are, or you wouldn't know to mention them. Clearly we both have read and listened to things other than what was immediately happening in our peer group. I will also add, that my grandchildren know who most of these people were because I talk to them, and their other grandparents talk to them and they've been taught to listen respectfully to what other people have to say about life, and experiences, etc. It's about communicating. Not done very much these days, sadly.
