I can't see the video either, MrPlowfan. I'm on a mac, are you? I was hoping it would be on TV 5 Monde, but it isn't listed, at least in Chicago. Pierre is listed twice on the guest list, once under family and again under 'celebrities and other' with Beatrice. Yes, also a Mac and I tried Firefox, too. I have also Mac. I went here www.france5.fr/c-dans-l-air/index....date=2011-07-20 but I got an information to download Flip4Mac before being able open the video.

I am not surprised that WC had been drugged on occasion, voluntarily or not. It is a public "secret" that she drinks and uses "recreational drugs" for years. If someone wants to drug her or just make her "look a little happier and more enthusiastic" they just have to give her a line or two more than what she usually takes...by herself. Her drug use should also explain those mood swings and extreme changes in her behaviour...from gloomy to exsuberant...in ten minutes.

Taki is pretty wealthy and very high up in social circles. I'm sure they'll sue. Albert has no choice after that one. The Greeks and the Spanish royals were not at the wedding either. So they must have known something as up. Smart on their part I would say. If Albert sues "one of his own" (Taki that is), then Albert may find himself a social pariah. Taki is not saying it's true only repeating what he has heard. They will try and get his sources but pretty soon that will become a witch hunt or something a kin to the McCarthy era interrogations is my guess. I don't think they will be able to lay a hand on Taki without some sort of repercussion. It looks to me like Albert's days as a ruler may well be over, but then wouldn't that be pretty much of to France? Things are unraveling fast. JMO

Eringer has just posted that the Washington Post has written about Albert's comments. They start with the question "Does Albert know how dumb he sounds" go read Eringer.

This statement - Does Albert know how dumb he sounds - is Eringer's not the Washington Post's statement. I posted the article in this post in the thread about Albert and Charlene's interview.

CREePY!

Well, Eringer has been quite busy. There is another column on his blog today called "Suicide by Media" written by an alias called Cote d'Azur. It basically says what we have been saying all along, but it's still fun to go read!

Emmeline, sedated or relaxed, some might think that these words mean the same. LOL I agree that lately she seems to be on drugs to keep her relaxed and calm. But it is not a good relaxed from being at peace with your life, but a chemical relaxation.

Thank you refia for posting "Der Kuss aus Eis". I read it thursday night on the train and I could not believe that even the old fashioned "Die Zeit" felt the urge to comment on this dream couple. And they did not rely on rumors they just commented on authorized pictures and interviews.
I love that sentence: "Slap stick couple, that screwed up the basic expression of love, a kiss.
A good article that says it all you need to know about that couple.

Second best sentence from the above article:
If one observes Charlene being kissed, one thinks more of the second famous piece of modern art, Edvard Munch´s "Der Schrei".
