The article ends:
"It does not look good for Albert II., known to be the first reigning head of state who has ever traveled to the North Pole … and three years later …. to the South Pole. Now, however, he captured Charlene Wittstock, the third and most beautiful station of his polar expedition and so much unhappy coldness might be too much even for him."
Sorry, for not translating the whole article. But the language of the article is so sophisticated that my English language skills are not good enough to do it justice.

That's fine, I agree that the final statement of the article is the best.

WOW! What an article! great find refia. I checked the date of the article because of Albert's interview and threats by LaCoste. It seems they paid no mind to the threat and published any way.
A theory going around is that the source could be (note: could!) be the now departed Chief of staff John Jarret. Wouldn't that be interesting. It has been said he is a General through and through and he works for France not Monaco. JMO

Great link THANK YOU ;D i love these parts, that writer is good! " but rather the catastrophic one behind their big facade imploding under the pressure of the eye collapsing connection: prove Albert and Charlene are finally united as one slapstick pair, the even the simplest exercise, love fails, the kiss." but unfortunately we think, if you Charlène observed in the kiss, more like the second most famous work of art in modernity, to Edvard Munch's The ScreamCharlene Wittstock, the new Princess of Monaco, the archaic pressure and coercion of kissing always feel when her husband, Prince Albert of Monaco, is approaching her in public. She then acts like a person attackedHe turns to her, she freezes. He pointed the lips, their freedom is at stake. Threatens the inevitable winds Charlene, as she longed for a friendly trap door that devour their own body or better yet the Monegatten, pardon, Monaco forever. now he has reached Charlene Wittstock, the third leg of his polar expedition NICE calling trashlene fridgid, what every woman wants printed for the world to read ROFL it just gets better and better, i can't believe when it was dying down they deliberately call attention to the farce AGAIN!

a woman on the plane to Nice told me about this article. She said she never reads Bunte and the likes and is not interested in Monaco and the family. She said that it seems to her that you can not escape hearing or reading about the wedding disaster and that this wedding really has turned Monaco into a laughing stock. personally I love this article and the analogies between Rodin and Munch and the pun Monegatte (Monehusband) and Monegasse (Monegasque)

did I mention that they compared her to being illiterate? I found that the most fitting as they said that the way they kissed was as if she had signed the contract with a false name or an X like an illiterate very suitable comparison for someone who didn't even finish the most basic of schools.

"Bunte" and "Gala" score points with princely wedding: Sale of Monaco's special editionThe special issues of "Bunte" and "Gala" for the wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene could almost seamlessly tie in with the previous box-office hit of the year, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The "Bunte" issue No. 28, whose release date was changed to Tuesday after the wedding, sold 448 300 copies by retail. In the retail sales this is 41 percent above the previous annual average. By comparison, No. 19, the Royal Wedding in May sold 467 400 times, and was thus 51 percent above the annual average. According to IVW the people magazine of Hubert Burda Media sold 634 780 copies in total in the second Quarter of 2011. This figure includes 314 555 copies sold by retail. With the special editions for the wedding of William and Kate not only "Bunte" but also the "Gruner + Jahr's" magazine "Gala" celebrated a record. Both magazines had released special issues for the second biggest royal wedding of the year and had obviously the right instinct. The issue 28/11 of "Gala", whose release date was also changed to Tuesday after the Monaco wedding, sold 147 500 times by retail and generated total sales of 385 000 copies. The royal issue 19/11 sold 178 000 copies by retail and the total sale of William's and Kate's big day was 413000 copies. According to IVW "Gala" had a total sale of 330 125 copies in the second Quarter of 2011.

I subscribe to a Spanish magazine (not Hola), which majorly kisses up to all royal houses equally. I just received the latest issue. I was expecting to see a full spread for Al/Char like they did for WillKat... and nada! Zero. Nothing. Instead, they are running more articles on Will and Kate. That says it all....

I saw a flash news in E!, and they were talking about couples. In a moment, a flash of Albert and Charlene, the rumours scandal, the hooneymoon, the escapes, and they even show the part of Albert's speech in which he said that stupid thing to Charlene that i can't remember exactly now. They are so much screwed.

I wonder what happened to Albert when he was younger, to make him so .... I wonder if he was abused (sexually) or something so sinister that the poor guy became a man with zero self-esteem. The head of a country looked for love everywhere except with Royals and Aristocrats. I liked the princesses of Sweden for him, there are so many beautiful young ladies he could have married (from Europe) and he didn't find anybody?
Now, with this plastic princess he has to "show" how in love they are; how wonderful they are for each-other; how good she is for Monaco. Does he really believe that people believe them? Why his staff does not tell him the truth? That people does NOT buy his "love".
There is no way she is leaving him after five years. She will not give up the life she grabbed, in exchange of what? What will she do? Where will she go? She has a country working for her, she has a man in love with her, willing to give her everything. She has whatever she wants, all she has to do is say it. She is not going anywhere, sorry Caroline. Sorry Monaco.

France cannot annexe Monaco. It is like invading another country.

France cannot annexe Monaco. It is like invading another country. It can force a change in government by withdrawing it's economic support and other services it supplies. In addition it has it's own government officials sitting on Albert's council so they could force a change in leadership and a change in the way the government is run. Rainier protected Monaco in 2002 to keep it a sovereign state. However, it doesn't necessarily mean a sovereign has to govern it. It only means it will not be annexed by France. It's time to let the people of Monaco govern themselves. Albert should be a figure head, but then that should be Caroline since she is a better representative for Monaco. JMO.

I am with CM on this one. What man are you talking about who is in love with Charlene because it is definitely not Albert. Your English is fine! But, feel free to express in your native language the man that is in love with Charlene.

I am not sure if Albert is in love with her (I was refering to him), but I think he is thankful she accepted him. This is one reason why I think something happened to him when he was a kid. He seems so childish.
Now, she has played her cards very, very nicely. I think - I am really getting wild here, but the way he acts and speaks in public, about her (and around her), it seems to me HE is the one who is glad she signed the paper :-)
It's really crazy but, if you watched the movie the King's speech, Albert is acting the same way as the King of England with Wallis Simpson (in the movie) .
I don't think he will accept leaving his position, he seems to have a huge ego, but at the same time, he seems to have such low self-esteem (by the women he dated) .
I think I don't make sense anymore :-)
Have a great day/night!

I think your analysis of Albert is correct. Something went terribly wrong, and I think Grace spoiled him. Then when she died he just went hog wild. Basically he's no different than many of the entitled wealthy except many of them grow up and the ones that don't end up like Albert and Andrew. JMO.
