Maybe in this deficit included the child support owed by Albert... ;D LOL Well if he takes the two paternity tests and they are positive, he will have doubled the child support.

Paca, locals: How is tourism looking there this summer? All my expat friends have moved away so I don't forsee even when I visit Europe even passing through Monaco again. Mrszinck u in Monaco too? Can't say that I see loads around. NOt mre then usual. Weather is fine and it's warmer then previous years, but doesn't look like business is picking up. I don't think they have a major exhibit in the Grimaldi Forum this year either. Last years wasn't a hit. I think that kids enjoyed it the most, but it wasn't really what I had expected. Monaco, is boasting about the 200,000 tourist which they claimed came to Monaco as they predicted. Ok, let’s say that they are right about this number, but Monaco also predicted that this wedding will be a huge economic boom with 200,000 tourists spending money before and after the wedding. Many stores remained open to accommodate all those shopping tourists – but the huge windfall didn’t materialize –as we always predicted. Monaco even started their summer sales two days earlier than France hoping to lure some of their shoppers. The result? Empty stores or as the Monaco Matin stated in the article below “the first day was relatively calm.” Conlene, do you still think it is a good idea to wear your new very expensive tiara to your first official even in Monaco?
Sales: it's already took off in MonacoMonday, July 4, 2011
Two days ahead of the neighboring Alpes-Maritimes region, Monaco has started this Monday morning's summer sales. After a long weekend of celebration in honor of the royal wedding, it's rather in the confidentiality what started deals.
Teachers then practiced discounts, ranging up to 50% already. A second apart expected by the end of July.
Articles from major retailers which cost less than 10 euros or branded products sold at bargain prices, consumers are spoiled for choice. Despite this, the first day was relatively calm.
Sales continue until August 15.

On Monday, the Monte Carlo News also ran an article about the sales. It noted high end shops were advertising sales of 70% off. I guess those 200,000 tourists didn’t buy up everything. July 4, 2011 starts today balances the race in Monaco. From Zara to Chanel the goods of the season is immediately obvious in most shops at least 50%. Among the most interesting addresses: the Metropole Shopping Centre, Park Palace, the shops of the Carré d'Or blvd d'Italie, the center Bommerciale of Fontvieille.

Again, I am posting these articles here because the Mionister of State and other Monaco officials sold Albert and Charlene's wedding (and the high expense) as an investment for Monaco. Monaco Matin published another more detailed article about the sales in Monaco – this time they didn’t mentioned the empty stores, but they did note that stores will even be on Sunday. In the past stores were reluctant to open on Sundays, but now they really seem anxious or perhaps disappointed. The local media and officials predicted throughout the yearlong engagement and especially during the last month that tourists were going to flow through their stores during the 3-day wedding celebrations – some stores even had specials for the wedding – but now they have REAL sales.
Here we go for the sales!Tuesday, July 5, 2011 The shops of the principality have opened the ball of deals yesterday, two days ahead of the French neighbor. While the windows are still decorated with flags in honor of the royal wedding - who created the turmoil on the Rock for throughout the weekend, the sales were discreetly installed in the principality. I must say that during the festivities, some vendors have practiced offers "Special Wedding", to mark the occasion, more than to boost ales. Nevertheless, since yesterday, these reductions have been replaced by sales, the real. The percentages then bloom on the fronts. This year, retailers have been there frankly: - 50% are performed on many shelves. Jewelry stores, boutiques of ready-to-wear and accessories and even travel agents play the game
At the mall Fontvieille, Camaïeu sees small high flow at 5 euros, dresses from 9 euros or capris in less than 15 euros. Also deals in the shop Lingerie Twenty-Two, rue Grimaldi, offering loungewear, men and women, at half price. Lingerie Simone Perele signed Wacol or flows 30% as ornaments are 50% or lessee.
Boulevard des Moulins, United Colours of Benetton not practice other apart in the month. Plastered in red across the store, the rebate is uniform. Everything is sold at half price - new collection excluded, of course. The labels show then 50 euros for jackets, 16.50 euros for short or 15 euros for the tank top summer linen and viscose. At these prices, items tend to sell!
Sales, even on Sunday The policy differs in atmosphere at the Park Palace. For now, prices are reduced from 30 to 40% but it promises a second apart at the end of the month.
Meanwhile, shoes and accessories of the most prestigious houses such as Dior, Jimmy Choo and Marc Jacobs have substantial reductions.
Until mid-August, the bargain-hunters can fill. Especially since this year, traders have agreed to open their doors to customers on Sundays.
By the end of the week, major retailers engage in the operation (1) .
The Metropolis shopping center , the prestigious boutiques of the Carré d'Or but also international groups - Zara, Nike, Habitat, will be at the meeting. So no more excuses for not cracking at lower cost, the items sought.
1. addresses are listed on the site of the Department of Tourism and Convention Bureau Monaco, www.visitmonaco.mc

When Charlene posed for VOGUE in the Palace and there was always the price of the dress given ... my first thought was OMG - next year people ask for final sale in the Palace. And now it's "wedding special and much earlier FINAL SALE in Monaco It ALL goes down with this woman and her team Stahl AdminNote: Reduced length of quoted text

Well, the designer sales are in keeping with Charlene's new flagship image, Starbucks, Manolo Blanik, and racks of clothes marked down.
Now let's look at what Kate has done for British designers. She wears an outfit and it sells out with in an hour. Her record was set by an outfit she wore in Canada. The designer said it's online sales sold out in NINE MINUTES! and some forums call this girl's fashion sense boring?

I thought it will get so boring after 2. July - but it is soooo entertaining and EVERYTHING we said month ago IS HAPPENING - even much worse Note: it was not us who wanted do harm to Monaco! Is was US who wrote almost DAILY cancel this "wedding" - CW will sink and take Monaco with her - Stahl's plan won't work out.... Who is in charge of this chaos are those who didn't listen... Today's tip: - let CW in S.A. - under whatever pretext! Say you cannot do this to a woman to make her share her live with a man like her - you realized that you are not made for marriage unlike marriage with nothing and noone but MONACO - rule with Caroline as First Lady - prepare Andrea - ask someone who has a plan - I know that some people offered concepts to you - - ! fire Stahl and her team - hire professionals AMEN.

He will do that out of his instinct for survival. Keep her on and his days are numbered...

Remember the image of him throwing hte chair at the soccer game and the man next to him who was bigger than him was sitting there cowering like a child? On top of that for the first time we've been seeing facial expressions that match the truth of what's going on- sober and reflective and unhappy. My guess is there is some rapid maturing going on right now... He still has a chance to pull it out of the fire. I think if he stood up and cleaned house en masse and stood up publically and said he did hte wrong thing and he realizes now he got railroaded , and promise not to have flunkies around him again, people would give him a second chance and he could start over again. I mean he was probably told day and night by his advisors that this was the right thing for him to do for Monaco. That's the worst of it... I really believe that is true and I believe that's at least why his people would support him if he showed the maturity to do that, they would realize he's grown up

Monaco sales almost always start earlier then France and Italy. There is not much going on in MC anyways. People know that you need to wait further down the sales as they cut prices even more to the end. Ok. But Albert, his flunkies, the Director of Tourism and a whole lot of others bragged and expected the huge number of tourists to shop at these stores before and after the wedding - that's why they kept the stores open. As far as the retail end, this wedding did not bring the economic impact that they expected. IF so, you wouldn't se such huge discount - and empty stores.
