Eringer has just posted that the Washington Post has written about Albert's comments. They start with the question "Does Albert know how dumb he sounds" go read Eringer. The statement - Does Albert know how dumb he sounds - is Eringer's statement and not stated in the Washington Post article. It is best to go directly to the Washington Post article if you want to know what the Washington Post has to states. The article is very short because it links to the Nice Matin article.

Prince Albert of Monaco, explaining to France’s Nice-Matin why he and his new bride, Princess Charlene, slept in separate hotels during their South African honeymoon, the subject of much tabloid buzz.

I love the title of Monaco-matin:
"Rumours in Monaco: Albert can no longer."
How accurate, because of the rumours in Monaco, Albert can no longer stay a sovereign! Abdicate, stupid!

Bettina: P.S. Isn't it great that they are back? It was so quiet for a while, they more than made up for it though
Yes, it is fab! Who can stay away from the favorite soap opera for too long.
Do you think that they have cloned CW (like in Guiding Light) and that is the doped version. Or perhaps that is the evil version. So exiting!

Me think he doth protest too much! Some should advise The Cad that actions speak louder than words -- there has yet to be an authentic and genuine action between these two people in all these years. Very sad ;D smt you are too kind. This IS his idea of an authentic and genuine action.

No one is buying other than the sugars. Via my daughter's fav blogger again (dlisted). www.dlisted.com/2011/07/21/prince-pierced-peen-doth-protest-too-much Prince Pierced Peen Doth Protest Too Much
With all the rumors going around that Prince Albert's marriage to Charlene Wittstock is the stuff fake is made of, he decided to invite three French media outlets into his palace to clear the smoke made by his prisoner bride's heels when she tried to run from the altar.Prince Albert didn't address specific rumors like how he barebacked a love child into another ho or how Charlene tried to smuggle herself out of the country in Princess Stephanie's coke nose. Prince Albert only said that he's so mad about these rumors that he could spit on the vagina of one of his whores and make another hush hush baby as Charlene hums the melody of a Johnny Cash song from her ivory cell.
People reports that while Charlene held his hand, Prince Albert told the French press that they really need to stop with the constant lies or ELSE he'll put a baby in their wombs too. Prince Albert cried, "What is regrettable is that the media seized on these rumors without verifying their information. I find it unworthy of your colleagues. I have always respected the freedom of expression. But the dissemination of false information is lamentable and subject to criminal penalties."
Prince Albert refused to answer any questions, but he did talk about the rumor that he and Charlene stayed in different hotels during their honeymoon. Prince Albert explained, "Sometimes these rumors made us smile, such as when the media explained that the princess and I had not slept in the same hotel in South Africa. It was for practical reasons of course."
Of course, the reasons were practical. I'd check into a different hotel too if I couldn't raw f*ck a South African hooker in peace, because my selfish wife kept weeping all-loud like in her room and the sound traveled through the vents. Shut up, you boo hoo baby! Some of us are trying to cheat on you here!
At the end of the press conference, Princess Charlene was asked if she had anything to add and she only said, "No. I think that says it all."
That's funny. Those are the EXACT words Stepford Katie said during her wedding when Father Xenu asked her to recite her vows after Tommy Girl gave his in the form of an interpretive dance set to the Top Gun theme song.
Brilliant!

What amazes me is that these two have absolutely no understanding that they created these circus that has us all riveted. The Cad went out and found someone without any credible academic, social, or cultural credentials and without any desire to develop any! Trampolina did everything in her power to "lose herself" and allow herself to be re-created into a mini (and pretty bad) version of Grace.
Take a look at Catherine Middleton. She's as different from Diana as could be -- educated, middle-class, hard working family, a brunette. She is standing on her own and not trying to be anyone else.
You would think that someone would have told Trampolina that she should have just been herself (I know, gag!) and that would have been better than trying to re-create yourself in central casting!
These two people created this circus ... not us!

Kate is IMO a well programmed robot, I don´t see anything special on her. But the BRF likes this I guess.

Kate is IMO a well programmed robot, I don´t see anything special on her. But the BRF likes this I guess. Oh I have to disagree on Kate. I watched the videos of their Canadian trip and from what I saw, she does have the ability to connect with people, and she and William did not take a bad step that whole trip. Twelve days of high media scrutiny would have left cracks in the door to see if she as just a programmed walkie talkie or has a brain and functions well in the job. I agree she doesn't have the charisma of a Diana but then few do, that's why they are icons. Any way, back on topic -- compare her to Charlene and you have a plastic Barbie. JMO

I hope 'Express stands behind their sources, and I hope they win big time! This is going to be a circus, because it involves the Gov. of France. If she was at the airport, it's a public domain and she was dealing with public officials. There's nothing private about it. Should be interesting. If she was detained until PA's people came for her, then it's going to look even worse for Albert and CO. They are idiots. Plus did they not already admit that she left? Albert may have finally sunk Monaco. Go team Caroline!! JMO

L'Express will stand behind their sources!! (Even if it's a baby mama or Charlene herself). I don't see any lawsuit coming… Sarko also tried to cutting the media, without success. Albert is not important…

^ ... Caroline, we are waiting for you at stage right. These two actors are getting booed off the stage. Indeed we are waiting for you! Get those shitheads off the stage! Dear Donna, you have no idea what hornet's nest Monaco is. Do you actually think that Albert or Caroline or anyone other than Rainier could deal effectively with all the bureaucratic idiots that are so embedded in their seats, they have curved them out in their own shape. In the beginning, I thought how hard can it be to change things in such a small place, more or less a small town? You'd be surprised. Do not forget how provincial Monaco is, all that glitz is been brought mostly by the foreigners and not the occupants themselves. Nothing good can go through to the top and since the top is not all that with it ( on many levels ), making bad choices due to idiocy, flattery, lack of interest, hating any form of criticism and being used to run away from the boredom of endless meetings with mediocre civil servants for greener and more fun places, Caroline should probably fire everyone and restructure the whole thing from scratch taking on board serious economists, she is good with the rest. But, again, whilst Caroline has shown more seriousness, dedication and love for her country and role, she would probably make only a small dent unless everyone goes and she does not show any favours to anyone. Sounds a bit like an enlightened dictatorship, right? Or a very strict run ship or business... I guess it depends on which side your are.

What I meant is that the abdication request has to come from the people, of course. All revolutions have to come from the bottom, from the inside. Otherwise it is useless. Like afganistan for instance. It came from the outside - hence useless.

Like afganistan for instance. It came from the outside - hence useless. You are so right! No one can give you freedom: you have to earn it. And if the Monegasques want to be free of Albert, they will need to demand it in clear steps. Albert is not going to step aside on his own, he will need to be forced. For one thing, Charlene will only leave the 'throne' kicking, screaming, and clawing. These two are nothing without the titles. As MyaDia said, Charlene was not serious about fleeing, that was only a ploy. I think she didn't realize that she would not be able to magically control Albert after the wedding, and she threw a fit. She had only then realized about the 'Rules of Accommodation' that Eringer wrote about. But leave the throne willingly, forget about it!
