This thread is dedicated to information photos of and photos of any magazines that featured of Albert and Charlene on their covers only during their wedding and honeymoon periods. What should cause Albert some concern as a head of state is that the serious news magazine (even the French ones) did not feature his wedding on their full cover (I think only one). Albert and Charlene are only fodder for the tabloids and glossies. I posted some of these covers in the thread about the wedding media coverage. The below article mentions what we stated all along - after the wedding the tabloids and glossies will realize that Albert and Charlene will make them more money telling the truth about this trashy disrespectful relationship than the fairy tale that they manufactured and try to sell for the last six years. Read in French at TV station TF1:
The marriage of Albert and Charlene made the heyday of the tabloidsby Elodie MANDEL July 21, 2011
If the summer is traditionally a good period for the family of people magazine, the marriage of Kate and William in April and in July Charlene and Albert had a beneficial impact than the sales figures of magazines.
If the news magazines have their chestnuts (read the recurring themes found in a regular magazine (Freemasonry, real estate, the ranking of hospitals, etc.) the tabloids also has its recurring themes (stars at the beach, slimming secrets of the stars but also according to the news: weddings, baby, new couples ...) and hear good customers ... people who are selling!
Weddings, babies, divorces profile, and especially death (the death of Michael Jackson's record of remaining Paris Match) ... the tabloids do not fail to attract revenue every week millions of readers who want feuilletent with these beautiful pictures on glossy paper.
This year, the family was especially spoiled people with that royal marriages: the marriage of Kate Middleton and Prince William in April and that of Charlene Wittstock and to Albert of Monaco in July ...
In Paris, dated July 22, the owner of Paris Match said that the two marriages enabled the magazine accoître its distribution by 50%, a very big deal so the official magazine of the stars that multiplies the blows in recent times ( with, for example last week Carla Bruni Sarkozy pregnant in a bikini).
Yet all the tabloids flocked to the marriage of TV Entertainment in Point de Vue (the more legitimate and more pointed on the subject) or via Gala TV Star, all wanted to eat a piece of cake while sector people suffered in the last two years a concern reflux (-6 points Here - Closer to 4, -5 to Public) ...
Ironically, if the size is too smooth marriage of Albert and Charlene foreshadowed sales figures means ... the emergence of the rumor certainly has increased tenfold the public's attention to this union.
From there to infer that the magazine blown up a matter not to sell paper ... there is only one step

What Charlene lives for and is probably right now searching for - the magazine covers of her wedding day - the glossies and tabloids sing their praise. Albert as a head of state should care what the more serious press say. But with Charlene as the Princess of Monaco, Albert has already told the more serious and intelligent which league he is in. Actually, I expected all the magazines covers would include headlines proclaiming Albert & Charlene's love, happiness, and what a fairy tale this is - but not many are using these words - that says a lot! Look at how Gala changed their coverage in just one week - from sweet praise to juicy scandal (notice the photo that they chose for the second cover). Gala Wedding Cover, 6 July 2011: The photo album of a historic celebration, Charlene of Monaco the Incredible WeddingGala Honeymoon Cover, 13 July 2011: Angry, She finally denies all the rumors. Charlene: "They wanted to sabotage our wedding."

Again, notice the difference in the two covers- by both photos and headlines in just a week apart. Also, notice the photo that they chose for the second cover. The tablois now know what sells more! i wonder if she made the south african tabloids or special issues. US had dozens of special issues on the "real royal wedding" kates been on the covers ever since. nondynamic duo didn't make any covers that i saw and certainly no special edition wedding magazines. so in my view it was SURPRISE SURPRISE A BIG FAT PR FAILURE
if he'd married an American, it would be wall to wall coverage, instead we've embraced Kate, there's still a story on every night on one show or another about her or them.
this is such a nightmare OMG FATal's lobble to have a stroke!!! it's bad BAD when even the usual magazines he's paid off in the past and bribed writers to write the fairy tale are turning on them. LOVE IT great thread!

OMG look at her pupils in that last photo!!! i know fried and SHE IS FRIED? do you think it's pain meds, mood pills or downers? JMO no doubt doctors prescriptions to sleep or whatever he/she wants (think michael jackson or elvis!)
i had a friend addicted to oxycotin (hillbilly heroin) and her eyes looked like that, laser small pupils and a really relaxed face. she almost died because the more she took the more she needed. her doctor got her hooked on them after neck surgery, just kept giving them to her and a couple of years later it was totally out of control. she went to jail for forging her prescription from 30 to 90. she's in really bad health now, it literally destroyed her.
i love they're picking horrible photos, that also shows the mindset of the editors and the narrative.

Now Closer magazine eased into their "let's drop this fairy tale love story bullshit" coverage and by the second week they were extremely direct with their headline. Closer Wedding Cover, 7 July 2011: Albert and Charlene: A Grand Wedding: but questionsCloser Honeymoon Cover, 16 July 2011: Albert and Charlene: They already have separate rooms. In South Africa the scandalous kiss.

Oh! The "Closer" cover says they have experts that read their lips through the wedding! Apparently, according to cover, Stephanie said: "They are obligated to wear the ring?"

Notice how glossy/tabloid magazine France Dimanche did not dedicate the full cover to Albert and Charlene - just a bottom mention with an informative byline. However, look at the difference for the second cover just one week apart. France Dimanche Wedding Cover, 7 July 2011: Albert and Charlene: All the photos of the weddingFrance Dimanche Honeymoon Cover, 15 July 2011: Charlene and Albert, their honeymoon a disaster!

Now, Paris Match , Bunte and Hello! are all popular people magazine with the largest circulation in each of their respected countries. They each put Albert and Charlene on their covers and with nice polite deadlines. Now, if their sales were phenomenal they would have put them on their cover again in the following two weeks - but they didn't. Any bets on whether these three will change their sugary coverage (or at least for their headlines)?

I haven't seen a whole lot of Spanish magazine covers. Hola did a cover published right after the wedding, but it was about the Karl Lagerfeld photos and the interviewed by Sephane Bern. Here's one: Diez Minutos Wedding Cover, 4 July 2011: Albert & Charlene: A tense "I do"
