Yeah but in their minds, being slutty men is a badge of honourπ. That's how we end up with #metoo movements. They encourage each other. On the other hand, they become mechanical in bed (and chase after younger women for that spark that left them). Having said that, I'm glad she's not the Italian baby mama. This one just wants free publicity for her business. She's got the tea to spill to her clients, imagine. Thanks! I remember her now - had totally forgotten. It was around the tennis matches in Rome. yup, but it could have been anywhere. CW was after a swimming event, NC on a plane. I remember that when I moved to MC and did the choir things, Albert would be at the palace window and look down to th "crowd". He would do his bit, then look at whatever young and fairly attractive women were there and wink. Every time. And there were quite a few women who would respond and feel flattered. There were even some old biddies who would think he meant them For a royal he was pretty democratic with his attentions. Had he been a woman, they would have called him a slut. No surprise he married a golddigger and her parasitic family.

It's interesting from someone who doesn't care what went into her body, such as implants and fillers, that she should focus on... food!?

If she is alluding to her supposed vegetarian diet, there is always vegetarian option and since all those meetings are prearranged her diatary preference could always be passed on by her staff. no one will make her eat sth. Also if she does in spite of ll precautions find sth to her dislike on her plate, she can leave it on the plate. I doubt that anyone would forcefeed her on a public occasion. And yes fodd is different and she is not going to a restaurant where she can order what she likes, but usually hosts do inquire about preferences and dislikes. But a little curiosity towards different foods is necessary in the job. And in most cases she won't be offered offals. But I think a lack of curiosity is one of her problems. The reason why she didn't learn French, Monegasques or the culture of her new home

With the kind of budget she has, why not a personal chef with specific instructions? Almost every time she comes up with a new grievance, it's easy to shoot down as disingenuous. But she keeps them coming!? As if anyone in her position - as she likes to remind people..., would not benefit from any courtesy from a host. π

the palace has a chef and kitchenstaff just like a restaurant (plenty of interviews with him ut there. He usually prepares fish for Albert, which he mostly gets from the only fisherman in MC and other ingredients come from their farm in La turbie. Even the milk. So I don't get it) Albert approves the menu. But they will also prepare her anything she wants, as long as ingredients are there. So this is BS. And if she wants anything specific to SA, if she tells them well in advance, they will either get it from Paris or have it flown in. You can even order online. In this day and age exotic ingredients are easy to come by. This is not 100 years ago.

btw there was an article last week in MC matin about the last fisherman in MC. it's a shame that those small fishermen are so rare these days. As a child I always liked to go directly to the boats and get our shrimps and the occasional small fish. Also I remember very well an old fisherman without a boat who laid out his nets along the damms and using some ancient construction to fish for shrimp during low tide. Though only for personal usage. He specialised in smoked eels. Losing people like that is not only sad for business, as you don't get any fresher produce, but you also lose part of local culture.

I know, right? We have along the St-Lawrence river a young woman (if memory serves) who took up artisanal fishing. She takes orders first and doesn't overfish. It's similar to what the man you describe does, although she uses the tides. When you consider what industrial fishing does to our marine life, from damaging the sea floors, ensnaring and killing other species, depleting stocks and then the waste... we should all go back to our local fishermen and women. On holiday whether in Cassis or the Caribbean, it was a nice habit to go down to the water and buy fish right off the boat to cook ourselves. These artisans should be declared essential to the local circularity and enjoy protected status. btw there was an article last week in MC matin about the last fisherman in MC. it's a shame that those small fishermen are so rare these days. Absolutely agree. add to that the polution by those big trawlers and if you haven't seen them yet, go google the pics from last week of thousands of discarded fish. But generally I think supporting your local little guy is a good thing. Instead of going to Starbucks or buying a trendy coffee maker with capsule, go to a proper cafe, where they serve in cups and offer real service. Some years back I was helping out with the local marathon and took my kids along. It was freezing that day and we had been in our spot since dawn. We were near a Starbucks and a regular cafe. My kids ended up making regular trips to both places to warm up and use the toilets, but eventually they preferred the cafe. They were even offered to sit at a table just to warm up without consumption. Starbucks was less kind. Anyways about 2/3 through, I decided to treat them to a hot chocolate. I had them provide me with the prices and quantities. It turned out that Starbucks was more expensive, less clean and provided less service, whilst polluting our environment and not paying taxes. So the local cafe was an obvious choice and my kids very happy with it. They also got some extra cookies on the side. I had similar good experiences with cafes in MC. Yes they often are expensive, but they provide service and more when you are a regular. Like a refill for your tea or free hot cholcolate for the kids, when they pass on their own. and obviously they don't use capsules or plastic cups. Less waste, more service and real breaks. My kids felt so connected with the staff, that they insisted to share leftover birthday cake with them. If I have to chose, I would always pick the local. If anything, they do pay their taxes locally and they provide more than coffee or tea. btw our fisherman also used the tides. Had to. Though he didn't need to take advance orders, what he couldn't sell, he and his family would eat. Not that it was much as his eels had a reputation , so plenty of customers and there was only so much he could fish. Anyways ther are farmers out there who only slaughter their animals, when all parts are sold. Until then the animals have a good life, get to go outside and they are slaughter in place, so no transportation and stress for the animal. The butcher comes round, when the farmer has work for him. Just as it used to be. NO exploitation of workers, no abuse of animals. Oh, and since you buy directly, the price is similar to those in the supermarket. But you get better quality and can be sure that animals are treated better. And if you like, you can pop around and check the conditions yourself. IMO that is where things should go. It seems like going back to the past, but actually I think it is our only way to the future and besides not everything was bad in the past. A combination of modern technology and the respect for the produce from the past can feed everyone without destroying the planet. We just need to make proper choices.

The proliferation of disposable coffee cups and lids in the environment is enough of a turn-off for me. Starbucks literally makes me sick, it gives heartburn just smelling it. And what a ridiculous name... Star + bucks, although is it intended to be a reference to the Annie musical? I'm not sure. However branding-wise, it's subliminally blunt imo. Their viennoiseries are so dry too. It's rare now I'll meet anyone for coffee anyway, and while on the road where it's harder to avoid takeout anything, I still pack tea bags in my handbag and carry a refillable mug so I'm hardly the poster girl for coffee tbh. I have one at dawn, that's it. Younger, it was different. Who doesn't like to linger at a cafΓ©? In Dubai, out of sentimentality and patriotism, I did have a Timmies. Absolutely agree. add to that the polution by those big trawlers and if you haven't seen them yet, go google the pics from last week of thousands of discarded fish. yeah, well apparently the relationship with her stepmom is strained, which I have assumed long ago as she never posted anything with regards to her, she doesn't follow her or her foundation or family members. Neither of the stepkids do. I don't know if Alex has insta, though maybe private, but I think it is telling. Also CW does not follow any of her inlaw family. And that despite them taking care of her kids and obviously them having good relationships with each other. IMO it points to CW causing problems or being the problem, but others instead of being adult and behaving as such, just decided to not get dragged into it and keeping their distance and being polite in public. All of them failing to see that these days insta is also public unless you have an entirely private account, which none of them chose. SO they are putting it out there that there are family members they rather don't interact with.

The ghost of Grace and the elusive goal of competing? Even Nicole is trying the blondness. π€·π»ββοΈ You'd think no other fab woman ever walked across Monaco. Take Fanny Ardant with her gorgeous mane of dark curls, her sultriness and spirit. She's a goddess! Even Catherine Deneuve fumbled in an interview around her. She wouldn't let her get a word in edge-wise. (I'll get the clip in a minute). So anyway. Lots of dark beauties. Even my favourite fabulous Clara Luciani. (Bravo for the Victoires! ππΊ) CC may have had to gentrify but she didn't have to go all Michael Jackson.
